We probably don’t need to tell you that the goal of reality television is not to perfectly depict reality but to craft a compelling narrative and attract an audience. As a result, the shows we love don’t always provide an accurate depiction of the lives we’re looking in on. And according to Fernanda Flores, the producers of 90 Day Fiance offered viewers a wildly inaccurate portrayal of her brief relationship with Jonathan Rivera. As you likely already know, Jonathan and Fernanda’s breakup was as ugly as they get — and the whole mess is far from over. In fact, last we checked in on him, Rivera was talking about having Flores deported . For now at least, Fernanda is still living in America, and clearly, she’s not about to take Jonathan’s threats lying down. Fernanda Flores Explains 90 Day Fiance Split, Accuses Jonathan of Abuse in Iconic 44-MINUTE Video Flores recently posted a 44-minute video in which she offered her side of the story — and needless to say, the whole thing is not terribly flattering to Jonathan. One of Fernanda and Jonathan’s most memorable spats came early in their season when Fernanda discovered a pair of women’s underwear in one of Jonathan’s drawers. In her video, Fernanda revealed that she actual uncovered several indicators of Jonathan’s promiscuity, and only one of them was featured on the show: “That same week, I found a lot of stuff—not just underwear,” she says in the clip. “Sex toys, pictures, movies and stuff. Dude, you’re supposed to have left your past behind and start fresh with me. I know you’re a single man. I know that you’re older than me…but I wasn’t understanding why,” she explained. “I realized not everything is how it seems.” But Fernanda didn’t spend her entire 44-minute rant focusing on Jonathan’s possible infidelity. No, she also addressed his many other red flags, including the fact that he “likes to drink way too much” and “wasn’t careful with money at all.” “He will make good money but spend,” she stated. “He didn’t want to have a plan. He didn’t want to listen to me and I wasn’t understanding.” At one point, Fernanda alleged that she was “in a really abusive relationship,” citing a specific incident in which Jonathan got physical with her after she accused him of cheating: “I remember me looking through his office and stuff and I found a wrapper of a condom,” Fernanda recalled. “I flipped out. I literally flipped out. I yell at him and I tell him, ‘What the f–k is this?’ I was so mad. “His reaction was grab me from the neck, push me into the wall. ‘That’s not mine. You’re crazy.'” On Monday, Fernanda posted a message to her Instagram page explaining that she was forced to delete the video for legal reasons. She specified that she has not wavered in her stance and will post the video again as soon as she’s able: For his part, Rivera has issued a statement in which he denies Flores’ allegation and reveals that he intends to continue with deportation proceedings. “These allegations are completely false and my attorney will now be handling the situation,” Jonathan said. “Clearly, she will do whatever she has to in order to stay in this country.” We’re guessing this situation will get much worse before it starts to get any better. It seems we owe an apology to anyone who went all-in on their Bachelorette pool based on info they received from us last month. [Obviously, if it wasn’t clear already, The Bachelorette spoilers appear below, so if you wish to turn back, do so now.] Yes, it seems we were mistaken when we told you that Hannah Brown is now engaged to Tyler Cameron . We based our pick on intel obtained by the (almost) always-reliable Oracle of The Bachelor Reality Steve . Steve broke the news of Hannah and Tyler (above) getting engaged in May, but he has since received new, game-changing information. “[Three] weeks ago I started hearing that Hannah was with Jed and not Tyler,” he wrote in a new blog post, and, well: “Hannah chose Jed at the end and they are engaged.” Yes, it seems that controversial country crooner Jed Wyatt (below) is the man who stole Hannah’s heart after all! We’ll get to the controversy momentarily. Apologizing for his previous inaccurate information, Steve continued: “Sorry the initial Tyler info was wrong,” the soothsayer wrote. “Just wasn’t as solid as I thought it was.” But the info about Jed from [three] weeks ago is as solid as I can get and I just have to leave it at that.” We know what you’re thinking … how can Steve be trusted when he got it wrong once already? All we can say to that is that his site has been the gold standard for Bachelor and Bachelorette spoilers for over a decade. When he’s been wrong, he’s admitted it without hesitation, and sounds like he has full confidence in this new intel. Today’s twist has led to rumors that Hannah pulled an Arie Luyendyk by getting engaged to her runner-up after the fact. That doesn’t appear to be the case, however. As far as we can tell, Hannah picks Jed over Tyler in this season’s finale, and the two of them get engaged. Now, the revelation that Hannah went with Jed likely won’t sit well with some fans, for obvious reasons. It was bad enough that dude admitted during his first date with Hannah that he only auditioned for The Bachelorette because he thought the exposure would help his music career. That’s right, he was there for the wrong reasons. Jed claimed that since meeting her, he had eyes only for Hannah and his perspective on the show had totally changed. She bought it, but then Jed’s ex-girlfriend came forward and revealed that the two of them were still dating during his time on the show. Not a great look. Jed’s jilted ex, Haley Stevens , even issued an apology to Hannah for her role in this utter debacle playing out before our eyes. No word yet on Beast Mode’s reaction, but one would have to imagine she’s probably less than thrilled by the situation. Brown bounced a different dude early in the season after learning he had a girlfriend, and right about now, she may be wishing she’d given the same treatment to Jed! We have yet another twist and a possibly giant turn in the Jussie Smollett case/investigation/scandal/total and complete mess. On Monday evening, police released a couple of videos in relation to the alleged attack against the veteran Empire actor. As you must know by now, Smollett told the police and then the public way back in late January that he had been attacked on the streets of Chicago. He said this attack was perpetrated by two white men… that they tied a noose around his neck… that they poured bleach all over him … and that they screamed racial and anti-gay epithets in his direction. At first, Smollett was the subject of numerous sympathetic articles and headlines. The entire world, including President Donald Trump, appeared to be on his side. But after more information came to light (such as the supposed assailants being two black men who actually knew Smollett well) and doubts were raised about the validity of Smollett's story, he eventually became a pariah. The police actually arrested Smollett on the charge of falsifying an official report — only for the district attorney to eventually let the star go free. The situation continues to be a sordid and confusing enigma. This leads us into the newest update, which is this: Chicago police released video today that showed a noose around the Empire star’s neck. It also features a brief conversation between Smollett and the officers inside his apartment. “Do you want to take it off or anything?” an officer asks Smollett in the body cam footage, which depicuts the actor donning a cream and red sweater and having a tangle of white rope around his neck. “Yeah I do. I just wanted you all to see,” Smollett replies. He then claims that bleach is all over him. After just about 30 seconds of an exchange, Smollett gives the police permission to turn off their body cameras. So… what does this footage actually reveal? A Smollett apologist would say there you go, it shows a noose around his neck. Case closed! He was attacked! A Smollett critic would say that it's VERY weird for Smollett to have simply kept the noose around his neck (the video was filmed about 40 minutes after the alleged attack)… that he doesn't appear injured at all… that his mere claim of bleach being on his person doesn't mean anything at all… and that his request to have the cameras turned off could mean he didn't want anyone else to see all this flimsy evidence. It really just depends on where you stand. On Friday, Cook County Judge Michael Toomin announced that that Smollett’s criminal case will face another review by a special prosecutor. He also said that the actor, who he described as a “charlatan who fomented a hoax the equal of any twisted television intrigue,” could face additional charges. Source: McDonald’s / McDonald’s McDonald’s Hosted The “Black & Positively Golden” Fan Experience At BETX In LA BJ The Chicago Kid and Lil Yachty were among the big names at McDonald’s imprint at the BET Experience Fan Fest. Thousands of people attended McDonald’s “Black & Positively Golden” experience at BETX at LA’s Staples Center over the weekend. BJ The Chicago Kid performed an intimate set Saturday afternoon. The R&B artist performed songs like “Turnin Me Up,” and songs from his new album, “1123,” out July 26. Before the set, BJ told BOSSIP he’s been “golden” since day one: “I used to sing background for Jill Scott. She made me golden!” Fans were treated to a dance-off, chicken McNuggets and fries and a mobile studio where they could produce their own songs. And fresh off of his set at the Staples Center the night before, we spotted Lil Yachty visiting the mobile studio. Yachty told us that he was “chilling,” but would be back in the studio soon. Well it turns out that Tristan is big mad Khloe made him seem suicidal and he’s telling friends he said no such thing. “He says he told Khloe he didn’t want to live without her, but that didn’t mean he wanted to kill himself,” a source told RadarOnline, adding that the basketball pro is angry she made the allegation. “He is pissed off because a ton of people, including his family members and NBA execs, are reaching out to him very worried.” The 28-year-old told friends he was blindsided by the claims after the show aired on Sunday, June 23, and felt she “exploited” his comments. Sheesh! A Kardashian exploiting their former partner ratings? Who would believe such a thing? Sounds like Tristan should have known what he signed up for when he started swirling with Khloe — riiiiight? Do you think ANYONE has any sympathy for HIM at this point though?
