June Shannon and her gross boyfriend Geno Doak had been living in hotels and even a casino during this latest crisis. But now, Mama June has returned home — to an otherwise empty nest. Her famous daughter, Alana, is refusing to come home. She says she won’t return to the house while Geno is there. In August of 2018, Honey Boo Boo turned 13 . Wild that she’s a teenager, now. She fled the house after June and Geno’s crack cocaine arrests, but she’s not old enough to live on her own. Instead, she’s been living with Pumpkin, her sister. That was for the best, because June spent time living in various rented rooms with Geno. But now that she’s come home, Alana isn’t budging. TMZ reports that Alana Thompson will not return to her mother’s home under present circumstances. She’d like to return home, and she loves her mother a lot. But there’s a roadblock preventing that sweet reunion, and his name is Geno Doak. Sources tell TMZ that as long as Geno is still hanging around the Shannon residence, Alana wouldn’t feel safe being there. What Alana would like is for her troubled mother to give her useless cheating boyfriend the boot — and then take herself to rehab. There’s more than just Geno’s arrest for crack cocaine and domestic violence that has Alana justifiably concerned. Just days ago, we all saw that harrowing video in which Geno crashed his car into June’s house and emerged mostly naked. The aftermath was filmed by a neighbor, who observed June as she tried and failed to usher Geno into the house. “Honey Boo Boo’s mama [has] got on a damn see-through gown,” the neighbor’s voice can be heard observing. Eventually, June had to get help to move her useless lump of a boyfriend into the house. Alana is still a minor, and some fans worry that her boycott will backfire — and that June will just try to force her to come home. But TMZ ‘s sources tell them that Pumpkin is prepared to fight to keep her sister safe from the chaos, the drugs, the drama, and worse. Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon is reportedly willing to take her mom to court to keep Alana out of that maelstrom. She’ll do it even if it means obtaining legal custody of her own sister. The bittersweet news is that June, as of yet, hasn’t expressed any real interest in bringing Alana back home. Maybe that’s good news — that on some level, June knows that Alana is better off with Pumpkin than being around Geno (or her, at the moment). Maybe it’s bad news, because June is just too wrapped up in Geno’s apparently irresistible charms to care about her actual family. After all, that bizarre obsession is what made June refuse to listen at her own intervention. Her own daughter begged her to get help out of fear that she might die, but June adamantly refused any inpatient treatment. Pumpkin had to explain to viewers what was stopping June: fear. June worried that if she couldn’t watch Geno for every minute, he would cheat on her (some more), or maybe even leave her. Obviously, no man who would cheat in the first place is worth risking your life just to supervise, but that’s what June is doing. And it may cost her months or even years with her daughter. The Bachelor Nation doesn’t have to follow The Bachelorette Spoilers to know that Luke Parker is the absolute worst . We’ve all seen that creepy promo where Luke slut-shames Hannah. Now, Bachelorette castoff Devin is discussing what he saw of Luke behind the scenes — and how the holier-than-thou act may just be an act. Entertainment Tonight spoke with Devin Harris about what Luke Parker is really like. Is he a zealot or just a douche? “He is very fickle and flippy floppy,” Devin assesses. “In terms of the way that he moves throughout the season.” “Weirdly enough,” he remarks of Luke P. “When it was the guys, he’s cool enough.” “But once Hannah becomes involved,” Devin observes. “He becomes very manipulative. … ” He then comments: “I think he has douchey tendencies.” Then he gets into that disturbing scene where Luke talks about keeping “the marriage bed pure,” like a total creep. Devin remarks: “He never spoke about those types of dynamics with us.” “I think that ultimately, if Luke is following a path like that,” he expresses. “It’s important to remember that… God’s accepting.” “He’s an accepting person,” Devin emphasizes. “So I don’t know if really — and I’ll put this out there — I don’t know if it’s a facade,” he suggests. Now that’s a thought. “He’s saying he follows a certain path,” Devin continues. “That’s fine.” “But I don’t think that passing judgment on somebody is the kindest thing you can do,” he states. Devin is correct. He says that this is true “especially in relationships, when it’s about accepting someone’s flaws or challenges.” “That’s how you get to know somebody,” Devin notes. “You accept those because you accept that person.” Devin points out that even Luke P has admitted to acting a certain way on camera. So once again, he brings up that the audience — and Hannah — don’t truly know how much of this is fakery. “I think there is an aspect of facade that he is portraying,” Devin suggests. So which part is fake? What is the real Luke like? What does he hope to gain by acting like a douchey wingnut? Devin admits to being as in the dark as the rest of us, saying: “I guess that’s what we’re all trying to figure out!” Chris Harrison delved into Hannah’s very firm and wisely independent attitude. He quotes Hannah: “‘No matter what you believe, my body, my choice, my life, and if you don’t like it, there’s the door.'” “‘Don’t let it hit you in the a** on the way out.’ That’s how she approaches all the men,” he explains. “She’s very vulnerable and emotional,” Chris observes. “But don’t you dare cross her and question her decisions.” He explains: “because this is her life and you’ve got to respect that.” Now, Chris Harrison has also stated that he thinks that upcoming events will be polarizing among viewers. It may depend upon their views of religion and sexuality. That makes sense — there are lots of opinions within Christian circles, and then a whole spectrum of non-Christian views. But the only opinion that matters at the end of the day is Hannah’s. Like she says, it’s her body. The big question is what Luke could possibly hope to gain from whatever facade he may be putting on. Maybe Devin’s wrong and he’s just a fanatic. Or maybe … he’s fishing to launch a career. Plenty of washed out actors have launched new careers as conservative commentators in recent years. The seasoned actor who has starred in films like Jumping The Broom and Just Wright has been forced to think apart from his own financial future from the start of his career. He revealed his first major purchase when Hollywood came calling on the red carpet for the Prudential documentary Legacy Lives On . “I bought my mom a house,” said the actor. He made the purchase with his check from 2005’s Jarhead . Many would have used their windfall from the popcorn flick to splurge on something selfish, but Alonso had one agenda protecting his mother from falling victim to gun violence . “This was D.C. in the eighties,” he explained. “My mother used to park her car in this lady’s house, and she rented rooms too.” His mother routinely parked her car at the woman’s home to prevent it from being broken into or stolen at the height of the city’s crack epidemic. “She went inside and had tea with the old lady every day after work,” he said. “One day my mother got there and there was police tape around the house. One of the rooms was rented to a drug dealer and one day they came in the house and shot the old lady, the drug dealer and the drug dealer’s kids,” he continued somberly. “She had stayed at work a little late this one particular day. Otherwise she would have been there at the table.” Seeing how close his mother had come to losing her life forced Alonso to focus on how money could be a tool to provide for him and his loved ones. “I was like ‘I gotta get my mother out of here. I don’t care how much debt it’s gonna put me in.’” A consistent fixture on the large and small screens he has used his money to invest in not only real estate but projects that afford him the luxuries accompanied by ownership . He praised the documentary for offering what he called “practical tips not vague information,” on how to save and invest. He also expressed a desire to make an “investment in the community,” with the funds from his current projects including an Amazon Prime TV Show called The Boys where he will work with Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. He advises younger actors coming into the industry as streaming services threaten to dismantle traditional business models to do the same. “Create, create create,” he said. “You should be creating. Source: Will Sterling / Will Sterling Before the Dancing Dolls became reality TV stars with lavish costumes that shimmer when they buck, Dianna Williams (better known as Miss D) sketched their costumes in her living room. Under the guidance of a woman named Mrs. Pat, she learned about costume design and styling. And after a manufacturer would create her concepts, she’d go to work bedazzling them with her weapon of choice, a hot glue gun. “I designed every costume the Dancing Dolls have worn since the team was founded. I sat and drew the costumes. I decided where the cloth was going to go, where the sequins were going to go,” she said passionately during a candid chat. “Most people don’t know that for the first 14 years that the dancing dolls were around. I did the Dancing Doll uniforms all by hand. I did everything I needed to do for those girls costumes.” Miss D has always been obsessed with dolls and dollhouses. “I always used to make my dolls dance,” she revealed. Dianna started the Dancing Dolls when she was 21. She began coaching straight out of college with the support of her grandmother who owned a daycare — the Pied Piper Playhouse where the Dancing Dolls started. “She allowed me to have practice there. She allowed me to start the group there. She sewed their very first dancing uniforms.” When it came to getting uniforms, a dance company Jazzy Dancers was pivotal in clothing the girls. Mrs. Pat and Mr. Skip owned the only dance company in Jackson, Mississippi that sold costumes. “She told me what kind of boots I needed, what type of fish nets and tights to buy the girls because I had no clue.” Source: Stephen J. Cohen / Getty Inspired by Jacksonville University’s Prancing J-Settes collegiate dance team around the corner, it was important for the Dancing Dolls to look as professional as they moved. “I watched them. I seen what it is that they did. I wanted my girls to look like that. I patterned everything behind this upscale collegiate organization that was at a college I inspired to go to ever since I was a little girl. It didn’t matter that I didn’t make the team, I still wanted to make sure my girls had a prestigious look,” she explained. “I created the dancing dolls to give the kids to have something positive to do in our community. Living in Jackson, Mississippi, there’s not a lot to do there. I wanted to create something the kids could be proud of.” She later founded the Dollhouse Dance Factory, which became a pillar in the community. Much of their success can be attributed to Youtube, which has been a huge marketing tool for the Dancing Dolls. “I’ll never forget the user God’s First Dime, she was the first person to put together these videos of the Dancing Dolls. If you type in mini J-Settes you will find a bunch of old footage.” The Dancing Dolls were discovered after Madonna performed at the Super Bowl using the Southern University Dancing Dolls as her background dancers. “I’ll never forget, I got an e-mail and phone call from Pilgrim studios who wanted to do a reality show on the Dancing Dolls. I think they thought they were contacting them.” Hesitant it was a scam, Dianna didn’t immediately respond. “Come to find out they had done their research and realized that the Dancing Dolls that was on the Super Bowl were not the same Dancing Dolls they thought that had. They had Googled Dancing Dolls and my $2.99 GoDaddy website popped up.” But God makes no mistakes and upon further research, they discovered their Youtube videos. Live tour has been a way for us to engage with our fans on a more personal, live level. People watch the show and believe some of the tricks the girls do are just camera tricks but they’re not. Watching them perform on TV and not hearing the real music versus watching them live is a completely different feel. Being at a Bring It! Live show is like being at a rock concert. They’re standing, they’re screaming for their favorite doll.” And chances are, you’re favorite doll will be there. “We have a new crew going on the tour, but we also have old familiar faces. Kayla will be there. Everybody loves Kayla. Sunjai will be there this year. The past is about to come back and haunt Jordyn Woods. But at least she knows that it’s coming. In a new trailer for the two-part Keeping Up with the Kardashians season finale, viewers get to see Khloe Kardashian and her family react to the news that rocked their world several months ago. Yes, Woods really did make out with Tristan Thompson after a gathering at the basketball player’s house earlier this year. This scandalous incident happened long while back, of course, but episodes are filmed way in advance of when they air — which means Woods will once again be thrust into the national spotlight this Sunday night. Here’s a look at what’s to come: Keeping Up With The Kardashians Sneak Peek: Tristan Cheated With Jordyn! In a scene that totally happened naturally and which wasn’t at all staged, Kim answers the phone during a confessional featured in the footage above and asks: “What’s going on?” “Tristan and Jordyn were all over each other last night,” we hear in a voiceover. We also get glimpses of Khloe crying in bed, her universe simply collapsing all around her after discovering that Tristan has cheated on her. AGAIN. How does Woods feel about her most salacious act being brought up once again? She has no real choice at this point but to be as relaxed and profound about it as possible. “Everyone has their truth and their story, so you just go with it. Everyone has the right to speak their truth,” she told Entertainment Tonight this week about the impending finale, adding: “Life moves on. Money doesn’t stop. The world doesn’t stop. And hopefully, everyone is just, you know, going forward.” Woods, who has been best friends with Kylie Jenner for years, has admitted to kissing Thompson back when he was still dating Khloe. She has strongly denied, however, that she slept with Tristan or that she initiated the contact between their tongues. “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him,” Jordyn told Jada Pinkett Smith in response to the scandal during an appearance on her Facebook Live show this spring. “We’re all together, in a group, never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight,” she explained of what transpired. Woods did confess at the time to sitting on the arm of a chair Tristan was sitting on and draping her legs over has at one point. “If you’re looking for a story, I can understand why that would be the story,” she said. “We all were just dancing and having fun … but never anything intimate.” But, again, Woods confessed to locking lips with the highly paid NBA role player. Angry at the time, Khloe, wasn’t buying any of it, Tweeting: “Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. “BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” She later took back this last comment and placed all the blame for her family breaking up on Tristan himself. Where it belongs. Which is not to say that Woods didn’t eff up as well.
