Saturday Night Live Offers Putin’s Perspective on Trump’s Inauguration!

One of the scariest things about Donald Trump — and this is really saying something, seeing as how we're talking about a man who might actually be Satan's puppet — is his strange relationship with Vladimir Putin. Reports have claimed that Putin ordered a series of cyber-attacks with the goal of getting Trump in the White House, which is more than bad enough. But throw in that now infamous dossier, the one that alleges that Putin has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” Trump for years now. According to the documents, Trump and his people accepted “a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin” all throughout his campaign, and his lawyer met with Russian officials to discuss a pay-off for that stellar hacking job. Oh, and who could forget that little thing about Trump allegedly paying Russian prostitutes so that he could watch them pee on a bed the Obamas had slept in? Trump and Putin seem to be very close, besties even, and that's pretty alarming. But trust Saturday Night Live to take all that terror and make it funny. In last night's cold open, the first since Trump officially became president, Beck Bennett offered up a message to Americans as Putin. We laugh to keep from crying, but also we laugh because this is pretty great. See SNL's Putin in the video below:

Kristen Stewart: Donald Trump is OBSESSED with Me!!!

Donald Trump isn’t exactly presidential. In fact, the list of things that make him a poor choice for president is far longer than the list of things that that make him a good choice, which is a list that consists of approximately zero items. He has no political experience, he has a terrible temper, he’s immature and ignorant, he’s shady as shady can get , etc., etc., etc. And now we can add one more little fact to his unbelievably long list of wrongdoings: He really freaked Kristen Stewart out! This happened back in 2012, when Trump was just that super rich guy from The Apprentice, when anyone and everyone would have laughed and laughed if you told them that, in just a few years, he’d be president. (OK, anyone would still laugh and laugh, it would just be accompanied with uncontrollable sobbing now.) Also in 2012, Kristen was dating Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Unfortunately, that was the same year she cheated on poor R-Patz  with director Rupert Sanders. It was a bad time for everybody: Sanders was married with children, Kristen had her long-term fan-friendly relationship , we had hopes and dreams and so much naivety. But really, no one was more hurt than Donald Trump. In the time following the news of the affair, things were sort of touch-and-go between Rob and Kristen. And that deeply troubled Trump. “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart,” he tweeted. “She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!” Hilariously, he insisted that “She will cheat again — 100 certain — am I ever wrong?” He also wrote “Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.” It’s unclear if Robert has thanked Donald yet, but you know what is clear? These weird tweets have bothered Kristen for a long, long time. In a new interview with Variety, Kristen recalls that “He was mad at me a couple years ago, really obsessed with me a couple years ago, which is f-cking crazy.” “I can’t even understand it,” she said. “I literally cannot even understand it.” “It’s such a far-out concept that I don’t want to believe that actually is happening. It’s insane.” As she points out, “At that point, he was just, like, a reality star. I had no reference. It wasn’t like really a thing.” “But in retrospect, somebody reminded me of that and I was like ‘Oh my gosh, you’re right!'” Kristen also predicted that “He’s probably, like, going to tweet about this.” Not only did she talk about Trump’s weird obsession with her personal relationships, she also spoke out about the insane fact that he’s now president . “I’ve never been the most politically charged person,” she admitted, “but I think at this point, it’s not political. “It’s f-cking so humanitarian.” For the ladies who may look up to her, she advised “I would just say be a part of what you believe in, whichever way that is.” “I’m not going to tell anyone how to feel, but I’m pretty sure that we all feel the same way.” You can say that again, girl. Madonna: I Want to Blow Up the White House!

The day after Donald Trump was sworn in as our brand new president, people all across the country — all across the world, actually, are gathering together to march for women's rights, for LGBT rights … For all the rights, honestly. The Women's March is, of course, focused in Washington D.C., and that's where a number of celebrities gathered to protest Trump's presidency and also everything he's ever said or done. One of those celebrities in attendance was Madonna, who gave a speech she'd prepared about the whole situation. And oh, what a speech it was. Several news channels airing Madonna's speech cut away, thanks to all the language, and that one comment about blowing up the White House. It was a shame, because she really did have some nice sentiments. “Welcome to the revolution of love,” she said. “It took us this darkness to wake the f-ck up.” She directed a message “to our detractors that insist that this March will never add up to anything,” and that message? “F-ck you. F-ck you.” Madonna also said that she's “outraged” over Trump, and that she has “thought an awful lot of blowing up the White House.” Watch the full speech below:

Ashley Judd: Watch, React to Her "Nasty Woman" Poem!

In case you did not have access to the television, a radio or the Internet today, allow us to be the first to tell you: A lot of men and women marched against Donald Trump, his personality and his politics on Saturday. According to various estimates, over 750,000 people protested in Los Angeles… over 500,000 in Washington D.C… over 250,000 in Chicago. And so on and so forth. A number of these protestors were celebrities . And the celebrity who has received the most attention as a result of her appearance in D.C. was Ashley Judd. And that's because Judd used Trump's own two words (courtesy of an insult her hurled during a debate at Hillary Clinton) against him. “I am a feminist…I am a nasty woman,” Judd declared in her reading of a poem by Nina Donovan, 19-year old from Tennessee. The message went on to paints a harsh portrait of Trump's America, awash in corruption, chauvinism and racism. “I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag. And I didn't know devils could be resurrected but I feel Hitler in these streets. A mustache traded for a toupee,” Judd continued. “I am not as nasty as racism, fraud, conflict of interest, homophobia, sexual assault, transphobia, white supremacy, misogyny ignorance… “We are not here to be debunked. We are here to be respected. We are here to be nasty. I'm nasty, like my blood stains on my bedsheets,” It kept going from there. WATCH AND REACT BELOW:

Kylie Jenner Throws Apparent Shade at Bella Hadid, Supports Team The Weeknd

As far as we can tell, no one has asked Kylie Jenner for her opinion on the ongoing Selena Gomez vs. Bella Hadid feud. But the reality star has seemingly gone ahead and weighed in anyway. Last week, of course, Selena was spotted on a date with The Weeknd , kissing the singer and cozying up to him on the sidewalk outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles. A source told E! News that Gomez and The Weeknd dined at Giorgio Baldi for three hours, sitting in a back room with a private server. “They came out and they were so happy,” an onlooker told Us Weekly of the artists that evening, adding: “They were hugging and kissing. … Selena was all over him, hugging, kissing [him]. She looked amazing and so incredibly happy and in love.” There was also talk that Selena and her new man went back to her place after dinner for a bit of dessert. (If you know what we mean!) Shortly after news and photos from this date went viral, the true controversy began. First, Bella Hadid unfollowed Gomez on Instagram, seemingly angry that her pal was now dating her serious ex-boyfriend. Selena Gomez: Check Out My Thong! Then, an insider close to the situation told TMZ that Gomez has been seeing The Weeknd for a few months now, not even bothering to tell Hadid about the relationship. This source alleges that Hadid only found out about the romance via the Internet, claiming that Selena basically stabbed the model in the back and explaining: “Giving Bella and Gigi a heads up would have been the respectful and honorable thing to do. But I guess that’s just Hollywood.” Ouch . Gomez has not said anything about her scandalous relationship, and neither has Hadid. At least not verbally. Just a few days ago, however, Bella shared a photo on Instagram of her back to the camera, her middle finger extended in the air. She didn’t include a caption with the image, but most followers didn’t need Hadid to elaborate. They very much understood her point. So… what does any of this have to do with Kylie Jenner? On Tuesday night, Kylie was spotted with The Weeknd and Tyga at the Italian restaurant Carbone in New York City. Witnesses say the trio was having a grand time together. From there, Kylie went home and decided to sing a song to her fans on Snapchat. And what song did she choose to sing? “True Colors” by none other than… The Weeknd! Might Jenner simply be a fan of this track? Absolutely. But you have to admit: the timing is very interesting. So is the song choice even. Is Kylie telling Bella that her “true colors” are finally showing through? That she ought to shut up and move on because she isn’t dating The Weeknd any longer and the guy is free to bang whomever he pleases? We don’t know. We’re just speculating here. But Selena is supposedly very serious about her famous new boyfriend. She doesn’t see this as just another fling. Kylie Jenner Sings “True Colors” Perhaps Kylie can relate because she’s so smitten with Tyga and because that relationship also got underway amid contention and controversy. It’s hard to say for certain. It’s just pretty clear at this point that Jenner might as well be holding up some pom-poms in the above video. She is cheering on Team The Weeknd.

Donald Trump Accused of Plagiarizing Bane: Watch the Speeches!

We already know that an aversion to the truth runs in the Trump family. But do Donald Trump and Melania Trump also share an affection for plagiarization? Back in July, the First Lady stole parts of her Republican National Convention speech from Michelle Obama… and now some folks are wondering whether not Trump also relied on another source for this afternoon’s inauguration address. Specifically, they’re wondering if Trump was strongly influenced by iconic DC Comic villain Bane. You remember Bane, don’t you? Played by Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises, he caused many problems for Batman, stirring up anarchy throughout Gotham City as he encouraged the people to rise up against their oppressors. He basically vowed to Make Gotham Great Again in his own, unique, controversial way. Sound familiar? It’s about to sound a lot more familiar. Consider the following passage from Trump’s inaugural address : Today’s ceremony, however has very special meaning. Because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another. But we are transferring power from Washington D.C. and giving it back to you… the people. For too long a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have born the cost. Washington flourished but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs and while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment. It belongs to you. WATCH THE FULL SPEECH BELOW: Donald Trump Inauguration Speech Okay? Got it? We’re not here to judge the address. We’re here to marvel over its similarities to what Bane said on the steps of a government building in The Dark Knight Rises. Consider: We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity, and we give it back to you… the people. Gotham is yours. None shall interfere. Do as you please. Start by storming Blackgate, and freeing the oppressed! Step forward those who would serve. For and army will be raised. The powerful will be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure. Courts will be convened. Spoils will be enjoyed. Blood will be shed. The police will survive, as they learn to serve true justice. This great city… it will endure. Gotham will survive! WATCH THE FULL SPEECH BELOW: Bane Encourages Uprising in The Dark Knight Rises We aren’t the only site that took note of this comparison. Entertainment Weekly and Jezebel were on it right away, as well. And while the idea of a wannabe Bane being in charge of our nuclear arsenal very scary, let’s remember the title of the film from which we took the above clip: The Dark Knight Rises. So that’s the question, people. That’s the reason to have hope. What hero will rise over the next four years and lead this country to a less Baneful place? Donald Trump: Will He Be a Good President?

Forget the fact that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a wide margin. Forget whether or not FBI Director James Comey was blackmailed by members of the Republican Party. Forget the intelligence that has proven Russia hacked into our democracy with the goal of helping Donald Trump become President of the United States. All that matters now is this: Donald Trump is the President of the United States. (Editor’s note: The intelligence community and various government agencies should clearly not forget point number-three above. Every aspect of this breach of security must be investigated in full.) Trump took the Presidential oath on Friday afternoon and then delivered his inaugural address . He is now Commander-in-Chief. He is the leader of the free world. He is the man in charge for the next four years, at minimum. So questions about Russian interference and legitimacy and even proper versus improper use of Twitter can be placed aside for a moment. This is time for the country to come together and answer the only question that really matters at the moment: What kind of President will Donald Trump be? On one hand, we have every reason to fear for our lives. Literally, some might argue. Trump has wondered why nuclear weapons aren’t used more often. He has threatened China. He has used his position to trash politicians and insult anyone who doesn’t agree with him. The guy trusts Breitbart News more than The New York Times. He has shown no real understanding of foreign affairs and even chosen not to attend intelligent briefings in the run-up to his Presidency. For months now, Trump has seemed more interested in campaigning, in soaking up the adulation of his supporters, than in actually running the country. He lies so, so, so, so, so very often. So it’s understandable why such a significant portion of the population cannot fathom a circumstance in which Trump is an effective President. View Slideshow: Donald Trump Becomes President: Celebrities React! On the other hand, Trump is not beholden to any member of his party. He did not rely on traditional Republican support throughout his campaign, often ignoring advice and doing everything in his own, bombastic way. He speaks his mind. He is not intimidated by anyone. He can use these traits to take stances on populist issues that the typical politician would never touch (such as gun control). There’s no question that Washington is overrun by lobbyists and by the influence of corporate America, as Trump so often asserted from the very beginning of his campaign. If he wanted to be that person, Trump could actually drain the swamp. He could make sweeping changes as the powerful, confident outsider he claims to be. Of course… he’s thus far nominated a cabinet that’s comprised of nearly all billionaires and/or ex-Goldman Sachs employees. Did you see the answers Betsy DeVos gave in her confirmation hearing for the position of Secretary of Education?!? This is the person Trump thinks should be in charge of our children’s future. So he isn’t off to a great start in this regard. Donald Trump Inauguration Speech But the Trump Presidency begins NOW. Will you give him a chance? Has he not earned any kind of chance? Are you scared about the future or cowering in the corner over what it might entail/ In short, sound off below: WILL DONALD TRUMP BE A GOOD PRESIDENT? Yes, America will soon be great again! What?!? No. Let’s give him a chance and find out. View Poll »
