Remember when Kim Kardashian “broke the internet” with her ass-centric Paper magazine cover? Well, that iconic pic inspired more than just a Wreck-It Ralph sequel. Paper has been trying to recreate that web-shattering success ever since, but this year they’re relying less on nudity, and more on confessional interviews with the tabloid queens of yesteryear. First, Amanda Bynes opened up to the magazine revealing exactly what was going through her mind during the extended meltdown that brought an end to her acting career. Now, Lindsay Lohan is spilling the tea in hopes of receiving a similarly compassionate response from social media. There are two problems with that plan, of course: 1. Lindsay effed up so hard for so many years that it’s impossible to address all of her scandals in a single interview. 2. So it’s a good thing that — even though Lindsay has a new reality show to promote — the folks at Paper decided to focus on that ugly incident in their Lindsay interview. We assume the interview basically started with, “So — what in the actual f–k was that?” At first, Linds, dodged the question, saying that she wouldn’t talk about it over the phone, but would tell her story face-to-face. Naturally, she totally failed made good on her promise: “There’s actresses, there’s several of them to my knowledge that don’t use Instagram or Twitter. But I feel like you sort of have to,” she said, by way of dodging the question. “It’s your way of controlling the narrative. I recently made the mistake of having my phone recording live video, and that I learned from,” Lindsay added. “But I think it’s also important because if you’re doing something and you want to give direct access to your fans, you can contact them and see their thoughts and get an opinion.” So after offering that lofty explanation over the phone, Linds flew into NYC from Mykonos like some coke-fueled Carmen SanDiego. She showed up to her Paper photoshoot on time (which her publicist hilariously told the reporter “to note”), but when the subject of her one-woman anti-human trafficking campaign came up, Lindsay was, unsurprisingly, “too tired” to talk. “I read the situation wrong,” she later said in an e-mailed statement. “I’ve learned from it. And that’s all I have to say.” Thanks for that insight, Linds. Anytime you get punched in the face and the whole world applauds, we think it’s safe to say you “read the situation wrong.” “I would love to know why I get constantly clobbered in the press,” Lindsay said in her interview. “I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it’s that one thing that will be focused on.” Well, Lindsay, when the one thing you did wrong is harass an immigrant family for the crime of having accents, yeah — people are gonna focus on that. Asked about her hard-partying ways, the 32-year-old former actress stated that those days are behind her … for the most part. “I like to have fun, but that doesn’t mean I need to go out and drink and be crazy,” Lohan told the mag. “I have a good relationship with that. It’s been almost two months since Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up , but the scrutiny and speculation surrounding the former couple just won’t die down. Of course, part of the reason for the continued fascination is that Pete and Ari can’t stop talking about their split. Last week, the breakup became the talk of social media yet again, thanks to Ariana’s well-received music video for ” Thank U, Next .” The lyrics to the song address several of Grande’s past relationships, and the video features a nod to her time with Pete. Many were hopeful that that would be the end of it, but it seems Ari’s fans have been relentless in their harassment of Davidson. And the situation apparently got so bad this week that Pete felt the need to issue a public statement. Taking to Instagram, Pete posted the following heartfelt plea for compassion: ” I’ve kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. “I’m trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference. “Especially in today’s climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind boggling . “I’ve been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months. “I’ve spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth.” “I just want you guys to know. “No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. Pete’s been open about his struggles with addiction and bipolar disorder, and has frequently discussed his troubles during SNL segments. As a result, there’s been considerable interest in his personal life for quite some time. Many who were familiar with Pete were surprised by the uproar that occurred when he joked about his relationship with Grande on the air. After all, this is a man who’s made a career of pushing the envelope and being intensely open about his personal life. But today, Pete bared his soul for reasons that have nothing to do with comedy. As you’ve likely heard by now, Meghan Markle is pregnant with her first child. Meghan, of course, is in the unique position of having climbed the ladder from basic cable D-lister to international icon in record time, so the eyes of the world are squarely on her growing baby bump. Meghan has reached that level of fame at which people place bets on things like whether or not she’ll have twins and what the baby (or babies) will be named. Naturally, there’s been lots of speculation and a fair bit of wagering, with most concluding that the godparents will be celebrities. Meghan hob-nobs with the global elite these days, so it’s widely assumed that she and Harry will choose some sort of public figures as the godparents. And one couple has become the odds-on favorites to receive the honor. Sources close to Duke and Duchess of Sussex say that while they haven’t made the selection official yet, Harry and Meghan have decided to ask George and Amal Clooney to do the honors. “Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that,” one insider tells the Daily Mail. “They’re much closer than the headlines let on.” While the offer hasn’t been extended yet, sources say George and Amal have heard the rumors and are looking forward to speaking with Harry and Meghan. Apparently, George has even “told a couple of people he has a strong hunch.” The Clooneys are parents of twins, and news that they’ll serve as godparents has bolstered rumors that Meghan is expecting twins as well. Last week, Jenni JWoww Farley got candid about her son's autism diagnosis . Now, she's showing off her delight at he speaks — naming through some primary colors while he's busy doing other things. The video that she shared is absolutely adorable. Take a look: “The way he says yellow makes my heart explode,” JWoww writes in the caption of this video. She includes with her words a yellow heart emoji. In the video itself, JWoww prompts Greyson Valor. With her encouragement, he names “red,” “yellow,” and “blue.” Those are the primary colors, and he's wearing two of them. Greyson seems distracted by his snack on the countertop during the video. He's humoring his mother because, well, he's a little kid and that's what you do. He's dressed as Dash from The Incredibles and holding a Jack Jack doll from the same franchise. Greyson then places Jack Jack on the counter and moves to climb up onto his chair. He's such a precious little two-and-a-half-year-old boy. In another video shared by Roger Matthews, Greyson's only prompting is a question. He is asked to name colors rather than simply repeat them, and he does. He's honestly paying more attention to Disney's Rapunzel at the time. “The sky is the limit for this kid,” his father writes in the caption. Greyson clearly knows his colors very well. His parents are showing the world that his autism diagnosis isn't as scary as some people try to make it sound. Part of what makes his parents so excited about his verbal identification of the colors is that his progress with speech is very recent. There is a tendency among parents and even among some who work with children professionally to associate speech with understanding. Children who don't speak don't always communicate that they fully understand their environment. It is not at all uncommon for children on the autistic spectrum to have speech delays as children. That does not mean that don't understand the words that their parents speak to and near them. Greyson has probably known his colors for a very long time. What's pleasing his parents so much is that is he is now giving verbal confirmation. JWoww doesn't want her son's autistism diagnosis used as clickbait , which is a very understandable concern. But she does want to show off her children on social media. In the process, she can educate more and more parents on what it can really be like having a child on the autistic spectrum. While it's true that some autistic adults need neurotypical caregivers in order to function in society, that is not the standard. Unfortunately, images from popular films of nonverbal and barely-functional adults too often come to mind for parents whose young children have just been diagnosed. Autism is a spectrum, and includes a massive variety of traits and qualities. Greyson smiling and speaking is a great way to illustrate that. Some mothers of autistic children seem to use their experience to make things all about them. They become “mommy bloggers” who look for sympathy for their situation, as if an autistic child were a curse. JWoww and Roger do not seem to be doing that at all. They're talking about speech therapy, but it's because they love their son and want to help him succeed in life. JWoww meets her attention quota as a reality star. She doesn't have to use her son for fame, and it's great that she's not trying.

Kareem Hunt, one of the top running backs in the National Football League, has been caught in the act. And the act is really quite awful. TMZ has obtained footage of Hunt violently beating a woman inside of a Cleveland hotel this past February. The surveillance footage is from February 10 at 3:22 a.m., to be exact, and it clearly depicts Hunt arguing with an unidentified 19-year old female. We see the Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro confronting his victim and then shoving her very hard, prior to the woman striking Hunt in the face. At this point, truly loses it: he pushes one of his friends into the woman and then kicks her while she's crouching on the floor. Law enforcement was called to the scene, but no arrests were made. Hunt, who led the entire league in rushing last year, was not suspended by the NFL nor disciplined in any significant way by the Chiefs. In August, team CEO Clark Hunt publicly stated in August he doubted Hunt would be suspended, meaning he was well aware of at least some kind of incident. We do not know if he saw this video or if anyone in the league office has seen the video. The situation is reminiscent of what transpired with Ray Rice. Also a talented running back in 2014, Rice was suspended for two games for punching his girlfriend. But then this CRAZY footage of Rice knocking her unconscious went public and the league increased its penalty, causing many to wonder why the NFL needed videographic evidence when Rice had already admitted to punching his loved one. Commissioner Roger Goodell has become infamous for failing to appropriately deal with players who beat women. At the time of this Hill incident, the woman told police the entire thing started because Hunt kicked her out of his room after she refused to hook up with one of the men in his entourage. Sounds very classy of him. In December of 2014, meanwhile, Hunt's wide receiver teammate Tyreek Hill – then a star on Oklahoma State University’s football and track teams – was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation. The late Playboy founder chucked his collection of sex tapes into the Pacific ocean due to fears that his most famous and secret conquests would be exposed, sources told The Sun . This new comes as the Hefner’s most personal belongings are being auctioned off later this month. The magazine editor, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 91, gathered up his entire hidden collection of tapes, X-rated photos, and even intimate notes from fellow superstars. He then proceeded to throw them all in a specially-made casket lined with cement and had his aides dump them in the sea. “Hugh was terrified of the world finding out everything about his past,” a source revealed to the publication. “He had kept a treasure chest of memories of his life with all these beautiful women dating back from the 1950s to the mid-1990s.” “He only shared a few of the stories with his aides, but kept his personal items of his time with many famous beauties a secret,” The source continued. “There was a batch of tapes, shot on 8 mm and cinefilm, which were filmed during some of the orgies he enjoyed in the 70s.” According to the source, some famous male movie stars were in these videos as well, and had that come out it would have been a huge scandal. Marilyn Monroe was “definitely” in the videos as well, along with many superstars who graced Playboy. “Some of the women were in relationships and others never even made the magazine, but simply were partying with him,” says the source. “In the 1990s, he had concerns about these personal items being stolen and sold around the world … it filled him with dread. What actually sparked his concern was when Pamela had her tape with Brett Michaels aired and then Tommy Lee,” they continued. “He got so upset and paranoid that he decided it was best to have them disappear. He didn’t trust people to burn them in case they got stolen, so he charged Joe [head of security at the Playboy Mansion] with getting rid of them in the ocean.” Hugh allegedly wanted to get rid of the tapes because he didn’t want anyone’s lives, marriages or careers to be destroyed by what he had In his library. Hefner decided to take action in the late 90s, as parties at the Playboy mansion were becoming wilder; he didn’t want a random house guest coming across tapes and leaking them.
Sad news from the music world today, as Devin Lima, singer of the popular ’90s boy band LFO has passed away. Lima was just 41 years old. Lima had been battling cancer for 13 months prior to his death. He and bandmate Brad Fischetti were planning to embark a nationwide tour when doctors discovered a “football-sized” tumor on Lima’s adrenal gland. The tumor was removed, but by that time, Lima had developed stage 4 cancer. News of Lima’s passing was made public by his mother, Filomena Lima, who says she received the tragic news from Devin’s fiance, who had been living with him. “My son has passed away,” Filomena wrote on Facebook. “He was struggling for thirteen months since his diagnosis. He passed about 2:45 in the morning.” “We are not good,” Filomena added. “I’m not good.” Fischetti founded LFO along with the group’s primary songwriter, Rich Cronin, back in 1995. Lima joined the band just before the vocalists gained national fame on the strength of their hit “Summer Girls,” best remembered for its buoyant vibe and timely lyrics about “girls who wear Abercrombie & Fitch.” The group followed that up with several more modest hits, such as “Girl on TV” and “Every Other Time.” As a trio, Lima, Fischetti, and Cronin sold more than 4 million records worldwide. Tragically, Cronin passed away following a battle with Leukemia in 2010. The group disbanded following Cronin’s death, but Lima and Fischetti reunited to tour and perform as LFO in 2017. Aa a duo, they released a single entitled “Perfect 10” in the summer of 2017. Sadly, it was shortly thereafter that doctors diagnosed Lima with cancer. LFO – Summer Girls On social media, thousands are paying tribute to Lima and the music he created that was such a memorable part of their adolescent years. “I’m devastated to hear about LFO’s Devin Lima. He was my idol and mentor,” tweeted singer and media personality Gavin Thomas. “I learned so much from him vocally over the years. I feel so lucky to have interviewed him on the podcast.
