Marshawn Lynch Launches Initiative To Provide The Homeless With Smartphones

W hen NFL star Marshawn Lynch isn’t on the football field, he’s focused on giving back to those in need. His latest philanthropic project will provide the homeless population in Oakland and Seattle with smartphones, AfroTech reported. Through the project, 3,000 homeless people on the West Coast will receive smartphones and three months of free service. Each phone will come equipped with the Beast Mobile app which allows users to receive credits for playing games, participating in surveys and watching videos. Beast Mobile and Fam1st Family Foundation launched this project in efforts to examine the habits and whereabouts of individuals who are homeless so that they can better serve that population. They also hope that through this project those who receive the phones will be able to stay in touch with their loved ones and access the internet for resources. “There is a myth out there that homeless people already get phones from the Government. To qualify for a phone you must already receive some type of assistance like food stamps or Medicare/Medicaid. Also you need to have a home address which homeless people do not have,” read the initiative’s website . “With Seattle having the 3rd largest homeless population in the U.S. and Oakland (and the Bay Area) having the 4th largest, Beast Mobile and Fam1st Family Foundation are committed to providing a solution to help city officials communicate with this previously untrackable demographic.” Phones for the Homeless is currently working towards raising $250,000 to provide individuals with three months of free service. Bright Corporation has pledged to donate 3,000 phones. Homelessness has been a pressing issue in our country. A recent study revealed that Black Americans are about three times more likely to live on the streets than white Americans. Pete Davidson: Ariana Grande Broke My Heart!

When Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up, love died. And yeah, that may be a little dramatic, but it’s true. It feels true, anyway. Sure, those two crazy kids were only together for around five months , and yeah, most people didn’t believe they’d make it anyway. They’re both young celebrities, after all, and they did get engaged a few seconds after they started dating. But they were adorable, OK? There was something so goofy about the two of them together , and they were just such a cute couple. They got a pet pig together and named it Piggy Smalls. How is that not the sweetest thing that ever was? But as cute as they were, they are no more, because last weekend, we heard the awful news that they’d broken up. For what it’s worth, it doesn’t sound like it was a messy breakup, which is … well, it’s something. Reports have claimed that their timing was just off , and while they still love each other, Ariana just needs some space to get herself together. Which is definitely fair, considering the fact that her ex, Mac Miller, recently passed away. But according to a new report from Hollywood Life, even though Pete understands all that, he’s still absolutely devastated . A source close to Pete explains that he feels like he “has lost his best friend, his soulmate, and his lover, and he is utterly heartbroken over it.” “He misses Ariana every minute of every day, from the second he wakes up until the moment he goes to sleep.” Poor guy! The source adds that “Right now, Pete feels like he will never get over Ariana, that his heart will never mend, and that he will never fall in love again.” “His friends and family are doing their best to rally round, but he’s just beside himself.” Understandably, “It would be easier to deal with if one of them had cheated, but the circumstances under which they split make it just unbearable.” “He feels like everything is still unresolved and he has no closure.” Another source claims that even though he feels so low right now, he hasn’t given up hope entirely,  In fact, “Pete is convinced that he will be back with Ariana and he feels like it will happen before Christmas and maybe even before his birthday.” His birthday is November 16th, by the way, so the dream is definitely alive. This source also says that “He is giving her space but he is not giving up on her and he hopes that things will change for the better before the end of the year.” From all the reports we’ve seen — and there have been so, so many — it really does sound like Ariana just needed some time to take care of herself. Since then, the Brooklyn emcee has had a slew of other hits, but as an artist, it’s hard AF to top your first single.   Nonetheless, Mama kept going, kept dancing, kept rapping and acting — and low and behold, ten years later, her first single is now a viral dance challenge. Some say the challenge was started by producer Capella Grey , which is why some people are calling it the #CapellaGrey challenge. But regardless of what name you title it, it’s still just people rapping or singing acapella to the infamous beat that Lil Mama made hot back in 2008. Youtube singer Jimani Unique got her little sister to do the challenge, and not only did they wound up going viral, but now they’re the face of the entire challenge. They sang, gave us a catchy hook and bar or two, which no one was expecting at all.   But regardless of which viral challenge it is, seeing little kids do it and kill it is always the cutest thing. Like Youtube singer @LitOfficialMusic and her little sister, who served as her hype woman. Classic!   Lil Mama has come a long way since the days of her bum-rushing stages and getting roasted on social media for pretty much anything she did. David Eason: Jenelle Evans is So Happy! Leave Us Alone!

David Eason is the worst. And we know, that phrase gets thrown around a lot, but this time, it’s definitely true. David is the worst . He’s been awful for a long, long time — basically ever since he had his Teen Mom 2 debut. But this week, things have gotten a whole lot more intense. The whole thing started when Jenelle shared some photos after what she said was an emergency sinus surgery , but a lot of people didn’t buy it. A popular theory was that David actually hit her after an old friend of hers went public with claims that he’d slept with her before she married David . It wasn’t terribly hard to believe, considering that David’s long criminal record includes domestic violence charges. One of his exes claimed in court documents that he’d pushed her while she was heavily pregnant with their child, which, you know, isn’t great. A judge also saw it fit to issue a restraining order against David for his own son, so … He’s clearly not the most stable guy. A few days after that, the story got even more believable when a report came out claiming that someone had called 911 from Jenelle’s home last weekend to report an assault . According to that report, Jenelle had been injured, and although an ambulance was called, it was cancelled Instead, someone drove her to the hospital. She refused to press charges, which is sad but unsurprising. It was a scary story to begin with, but when Jenelle’s 911 call was released … It’s really so, so awful. “My husband, he just assaulted me,” she tells the operator through sobs. Jenelle Evans 911 Call “He pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my f-cking collarbone crack and I can’t move my arms.” She said that he’d gotten violent because he’d been drinking, and at one point she even referred to him as her ex. She also told the operator that she was recovering from surgery, so apparently her sinus surgery story was true. But that means that David would have attacked her just days after undergoing such a serious procedure. Just when you think this guy couldn’t get any worse, right? (Just a tip for the future, maybe just don’t ever think that.) Shortly after the 911 call was released, Jenelle made a statement, calling the whole thing “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” “Everything is great,” she insisted. “We are totally fine.” “We are feeling fine. Just taking time off social media … time to focus on ourselves and our family.” It’s not super believable, right? Especially since before the 911 call came out, a rep for Jenelle tried to say that she’d actually just tripped and fallen by a bonfire. But even though she’s deleted her Twitter and Facebook accounts , and even though it’s pretty much been confirmed that he assaulted her, they’re still trying to pretend that everything is fine. They went on a date last night, and they were sure to post pictures and video on Snapchat. It’s worth pointing out that she wore a shirt that completely covered her chest and any possible injuries she has in that area. And today, wouldn’t you know it, everything is still great! David shared this photo on Instagram of the happy couple with their precious daughter: “We have never been happier, thanks for asking!” he captioned the picture. He also disabled the comments, because he’s sensitive like that. Oh, and Jenelle is all covered up again, as you can see. Look, we’d love to believe that everyone is blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Maybe they just got into an argument and it really was a misunderstanding, maybe everything really is fine. But if you’ve ever watched David on Teen Mom 2, you know that he gives off the creepiest of vibes. And if you’ve ever watched Jenelle, you know that she’s incapable of being with a guy who isn’t absolutely terrible to and for her. Let’s just wish the best for her, all right? Farrah Abraham: Daughter Shares SUPER Creepy Video, Gets So Much Hate!

OK, so pretty much no one likes Farrah Abraham, right? Well, besides her dad, and maybe some misguided Teen Mom fans. If you check out the comments on any of her Instagram posts, you’ll see what we mean. There are people calling her a whore, making fun of her plastic surgery , pointing out how truly unhinged she always appears to be. Every once in a while, you’ll see someone say something like “if you don’t like her, why do you look at her posts?” But for the most part, it’s nothing but hate as far as the eye can see. Farrah gets so much hate that it’s even spread to her daughter, Sophia. It’s actually pretty sad. Sophia is only nine years old, and she’s been criticized for her appearance, the way she talks, the way she behaves … She’s a cute kid, and it’s not her fault that her delusional mother has pulled her out of school, you know? That goes for many other things in her life, too: it’s not her fault Farrah has raised her the way she has . And it’s important to remember that Sophia has been through a lot in her short life. Her father passed away before she was born, and she’s never had anybody in her life to fill that role. Ever since she was a baby, Farrah’s been feuding with her own mother, and sometimes it’s even gotten physical. And then there were the times that she left Sophia with her parents so she could move to Florida on her own or film a reality show overseas. Basically what we’re saying is that Sophia has experienced a lot of craziness and very little stability over the years, so maybe a little compassion would be nice. And again, the girl is nine years old. Still, all of that never stops the grown ass people who feel comfortable bashing her. And when Sophia shared this new video in celebration of Halloween, those people went wild: Sophia Abraham: See You in Your Nightmares! Is the video creepy? Uh, yeah. Very much so. That’s kind of the point. But let’s check out what her followers had to say about it. “WOW YOUR TRUE FORM!!!” one person wrote. Someone else called this video “never before seen footage of Sophia relaxing at home.” There were actually several comments like this — like this is how the girl truly is, and everything we’ve seen on Teen Mom OG has been a lie. And yeah, it’s a joke, but … come on. One person said that this video “is beyond disturbing,” and even went so far as to add “@cps.” Because that’s how contacting child protective services works. It’s just sad because Sophia is obviously having fun here, and even if you don’t personally like it or think it’s acceptable for a kid her age to be acting like this, there’s nothing really wrong with it. Kids do act in horror movies all the time, and lots of them like horror, too. Roger Mathews Celebrates Anniversary With Jenni Farley Despite Separation

Last month, Jersey Shore fans were stunned when Jenni Farley filed for divorce from Roger Mathews . The couple was beloved by fans, and their marriage was considered by many to be the most stable among the Shore cast. Adding to the confusion over the situation is the fact that the decision to split was not a mutual one. In fact, it seems as though Jenni made up her mind abruptly and without warning. Mathews has pleaded with Farley to give him a second chance in a series of heartfelt social media posts. Roger Mathews to Jenni Farley: Take Me Back! Of course, fans of Shore won’t be surprised to learn that JWoww is not the sentimental type and was not swayed by Rogers first attempts at a reconciliation. But to his credit, Mathews has not given up. This week marked three years since he and Farley got married, and he celerated the occasion by posting the photo below on his Instagram page: “This happened 3 years ago today. 8 years together total,” Mathews captioned the pic. “3006 days together. Not one of them was a flawless day. Not one of them would I change. “Happy Anniversary Babe @jwoww Wedding video in my bio cause I’m a corny traditionalist.” Obviously, Roger’s post tugs at the old heartstrings, but for all we know, Jenni is right to stand her ground. There have been no allegations of cheating or abuse, but those who know the couple best say they’ve been showing signs of being mismatched for quite some time. “The split was a long time coming,” one insider tells Us Weekly. “Everyone was hoping they’d work it out, but it didn’t happen.” Mathews seemed to confirm as much in one of his videos: “There’s no cheating or any dumb s—t or any juicy details,” the 43-year-old recently informed fans.  “She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … and [it was] not a good one,” he added. Roger went on to say that he understands his wife’s reasons for leaving — but feels that things will be different if they give their marriage a second chance: “I don’t blame her. I’m not done fighting. I’m gonna win my wife back,” Mathews told the camera. “I’m gonna win her affection back, I’m gonna win her love back … We’re in counseling so there is hope. it ain’t over till the fat lady sings.” JWoww, on the other hand, has been hesitant to speak about the split. Karlie Kloss Marries Josh Kushner! (And Gets Snubbed by Taylor Swift?)

Karlie Kloss is a married woman. But is she also a scorned friend? The 26-year-old supermodel exchanged vows this week with her 33-year-old businessman boyfriend, Joshua Kushner, sharing a photo from the couple’s special day on social media. “10.18.2018,” she wrote as a very simple caption to the above image on Instagram. A represenative for the stars has confirmed to People Magazine that Kloss and Kushner held a small, Jewish ceremony in upstate New York on Thursday, with fewer than 80 people in attendance. (They will also host a larger celebration for friends and loved ones some time this spring.) The Project Runway host donned a custom Dior gown for the ceremony and was “beaming with happiness,” claims a friend who was in attendance. But this friend was NOT Taylor Swift. Swift was not at her close friend’s wedding, raising many questions among fans who have been wondering if these two are still close. Kloss’ new husband, it ought to be noted, is the brother of Jared Kushner. Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump, who is the daughter of President Donald Trump. President Donald Trump is an evil, mentally imbalanced human being who is feuding with Swift due to the latter’s endorsement of two Democratic candidates in Tennessee. So, it’s only natural to wonder whether Kloss’ connection to the Kushner family has caused a rift in her friendship with Swift. Heck, maybe Swift was afraid a member of the Trump family would actually be in attendance at the ceremony. It turns out that Taylor was simply in Australia on Thursday, as she noted herself on Instagram. This trip was likely planned for several weeks, if not months, in advance, but we still can’t help but speculate over why she couldn’t cancel the visit in order to attend Kloss’ wedding. Something does seem to be amiss here. Kushner proposed back in July with a high-carat cushion cut diamond in a platinum solitaire setting with a diamond pavé band. As you can see above, Kloss was not shy about showing the rock off at the time. But she also said some nice things about Kushner, focusing on who he is as a person more than just the diamond he could afford to get for her. “I love you more than I have words to express,” Karlie wrote this summer as a caption to the picture immediately above. She added: “Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over.” In September, Kloss opened up about her engagement a bit more, telling Vogue: “The proposal was romantic and sweet. We spent the weekend in upstate New York, just the two of us.” Congratulations to the newlyweds! But not to Karlie’s new brother-in-law. That guy sucks so very much.

Season Six of 90 Day Fiance is upon us, and the new couples bring something new to the table: babies. Some couples on this series will make you believe in love again. Others will make you plead with your screen for them to break up. Quite frankly, some of the more toxic couples might just deserve each other. We've already seen the 90 Day Fiance Season 6 trailer , but now we're learning a lot more about these couples. 1. Jonathan and Fernanda Jonathan is a 32-year-old native of Lumberton, North Carolina, but when he met 19-year-old Fernanda in a club in Mexico, he extended his vacation to spend more time with her. Three months later, he proposed. 2. But . . . They have a 13-year age gap and one of them is literally a teenager. They’re both adults, but hooking up on vacation is very different from getting married. Fernanda’s youth definitely comes up, while Jonathan is learning to leave behind his bachelor lifestyle. 3. Ashley and Jay Ashley (32) and Jay (20) met while she was in Jamaica for a friend’s wedding. They struck up a conversation on social media afterwards, and then she went back to visit him again. He proposed to her after only 8 days. 4. But … On top of the age difference between these two, there are concerns by Ashley’s loved ones that Jay may be a cheater. He certainly seems crazy about Ashley, but is it love or lust? 5. Colt and Larissa on 90 Day Fiance Colt is a 33-year-old Las Vegas native who hasn’t had the best luck with the ladies. Then he met 31-year-old Larissa of Brazil on social media. They met up in Mexico, where Colt proposed after only 5 days together. 6. But … In the nicest terms possible, Colt has been single for so long for a reason. Part of that is that he is a grown man who is accustomed to being taken care of by his mother.
