Source: Instagram / Instagram Earlier this month, rumors about Instagram looking to take on YouTube by allowing users to upload hour long videos were in the air. Yesterday (June 20), we found out Instagram was dead serious about the idea. Via its blog, I Instagram announced they now have a global community of 1 billion users and a new standalone app, IGTV, that will allow users to watch and upload long-form content. The videos will be presented in vertical format catering to the fact that is how most people use their form. So you can expect hour-long content from your favorite IG creators. Now if you don’t want to download another app, Instagram will allow users to view the content from the original Instagram app. IGTV will be like turning on your TV; videos will play as soon as you open the app we are not sure that is super necessary. Hopefully, there will be an option to turn that feature off. IGTV will also feature channels just like TV but “the creators are the channels.” Instagram states “you can swipe up to discover more — switch between “For You,” “Following,” “Popular” and “Continue Watching.” You can also like, comment and send videos to friends in Direct.” You don’t have to a have a huge following to start your channel because on IGTV anyone fits the mold. Users will be able to upload videos via the app or web to launch your channel. It sounds like YouTube has a new challenger to worry about in IGTV and with a billion users behind it the opportunity to dethrone the video sharing platform is very achievable. A couple decided that there was no place they'd rather get married than on an airplane. Not a private plane. Not a plane on the ground. Just a regular, commercial aircraft full of other passengers. It's a strange story, but very touching, especially when you see how much everyone else played along. Take a look: “Airplane wedding” might sound like the premise of some god-awful romantic comedy (not all of them are, but this one would be). Seeing it play out in real life, on the other hand, shows that it can be pretty sweet. Michael and Renee used the airplane aisle as their, well, aisle. Renee walked towards Michael while Ed Sheeran's “Perfect” played, because of course . The pilot of the Southwest flight addressed the entire plane over the intercom, saying: “They met each other four years ago,” the pilot announced. “And this weekend decided to make it at least another four years,” Everybody's a comedian. “They met on a Match.com date,” the pilot also shared. “And yes, ladies and gentleman, it really does work.” “They were in beautiful Baltimore when they met,” the pilot added. “And it’s happily ever after from there.” Their vows were appropriately tongue-in-cheek under the circumstances. “I, Michael, take you, Renee, to be my wife, my partner in life, and my travel companion when I become a Rapid Reward Member today, tomorrow and forever.” That's very cute. (They danced down the aisle to Chris Brown's “Forever,” which is gross, but it's inclear whether they or a passanger chose that music) Skylee Campbell was one of the many passengers who captured this precious moment on video. “Can’t think of a better way to spend a late-night, 5 hour flight,” Skylee wrote. “Other than watching a wedding happen on the plane!” It makes sense that the airlines are happy to oblige. First of all, it gives flight attendants and pilots a break from, you know, the mundane agony of just doing their jobs like they do on every other flight. Second of all, it gives new, free good press for the airline. Do you know how rare that is, these days? How many videos have we all seen of people getting dragged off of airplanes? Earlier this month, there were overlapping horror stories from airplanes. One was of a man removed for his foul body odor . Another was of a man who, according to the woman who was seated beside him, was allegedly masturbating during the flight. So, yes, a heartwarming story that takes place on an airplane is clearly welcome. From their perspective. There are ethical concerns to getting marred in a plane in this manner. The ceremony is sweet, sure. But … the passengers didn't sign up for this. These two were effectively tying the knot in front of a captive audience who, rather than being invited to a wedding ceremony between strangers, found themselves immersed in it against their will. Sometimes public proposals happen like this, but it usually only monopolizes a minute or two of people's time. This was a whole wedding ceremony, and the captain was speaking over the intercom. That's not exactly easy to avoid. On top of that … imagine having to go to the bathroom while on the flight. That's an unpleasant prospect at any point, because the process of flying is an exercise in misery. But interrupting a wedding that you never asked to attend adds extra unpleasantness to being squeezed into a small nightmare bathroom while hurtling through the clouds in a metal tube. Still … we haven't actually heard any complaints. The flight crew reportedly had all of the passengers activate their overhead lights to illuminate the aisle. It's such a cute story. Apparently, the crew was happy to comply. This couple is hardly the first to get married on a flight, and they won't be the last. Honestly, airplane tickets might be expensive considering the conditions that people endure on flights, but they can't compare to the price of a more traditional wedding. Good for these two for thinking outside of the box. And good for the flight crew and passengers for indulging them.

On Saturday afternoon, Beyonce and Jay-Z stunned the music universe by releasing a joint album as a rather significant complement to their ongoing “On the Run II Tour.” Titled “Everything Is Love,” the album was released exclusively Tidal and announced by Beyonce via Instagram. The announcement footage features the two artists at the Louvre museum in Paris, including shots of them standing in front of the Mona Lisa painting while donning pink and mint suits … as well as glimpses of dancers performing in skin-colored tights and crop tops. Two performers appear on the cover of the Everything Is Love album. But this is not even all: On top of the album drop, Bey and Jay also released a music video for the record’s debut single, “Apes**t.” The video was filmed on location last month in this same iconic museum, a Tidal rep tells E! News… … and here it is! APES**T – THE CARTERS Within three hours of Beyonce confirming this album, her announced has received over 1.2 million Likes on Instagram. While the Internet went bonkers with the news, Beyonce and Jay-Z were performing in London Stadium, where onlookers have reported the same announcement was made on a big screen behind the singers. Beyonce and Jay-Z have been together for a decade. They are parents to three children, including a set of twins, and have overcome at least one Jay-Z cheating scandal . The global superstars actually renewed their vows in June , aiming to prove to the world that their love could withstand this sort of infidelity and obstacle. As always, however, the artists have remained mostly close-lipped about their relationship, preferring to let the occasional family photo or mysterious quote do the talking. That, or a surprise album and music video drop of course. Beyonce sings and raps in the song “Apes**t,” whose lyrics make a rather clear reference to her marital challenges. To wit: I can’t believe we made it/This is why we’re thankful. Jay-Z and Beyonce have collaborated on other tracks in the past — but never on a full album. The former told the New York Times in 2017 that the pair both “using our art almost like a therapy session,” which helps explains Beyonce’s legendary Lemonade alum and his 4:44 album. On Tuesday night, Farrah Abraham was arrested on battery and trespassing charges following an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel. According to police reports and eyewitness accounts, it all started when a highly intoxicated Farrah began arguing with other guests at the hotel. A male employee of the hotel attempted to get Farrah to leave the premises and she responded by striking him. At that point, cops were called, and if you think she went quietly in order to avoid further damage to her reputation, then you don’t know Farrah. After telling the arresting officers to go f–k themselves , Farrah was taken into custody. She remained behind bars overnight and most of the next day, and we’re guessing staff at the county jail were very happy to see her released on $500 bail Wednesday afternoon. Most public figures would keep a low profile and allow the dust to settle after such a humiliating incident. But Farrah being Farrah, the former Teen Mom OG star was quick to vomit up some meaningless word salad that she probably thought was insightful commentary on the situation: Farrah Abraham Talks Arrest: I Was Targeted! “I was targeted, things were made up, It was fine,” Farrah said in a video recorded for TMZ. “I don’t know who called the cops, why people called the cops … I was focused on my friends and then someone was trying to be involved, another guest.” She added: “I don’t know if the guest was intoxicated [editor’s note: LOLOLOL]. I don’t know who he even is or what he looks like.” Then, as is her M.O. Farrah made a lame attempt to turn the whole thing into a feminist issue, saying: “I hope no other female finds herself in this position or situation, and I know it’s very hard being a public figure or ‘celebrity,’ if you will, but that is what happens when you are targeted.” Those closest to Farrah have also been sounding off on the situation. Her mother, Debra Danielsen, wept for Farrah’s 9-year-old daughter, who was in the hotel at the time of the incident. (It’s not believed that Sophia witnessed the incident, but still … not a great look.) And now, Farrah’s most recent ex, Simon Saran , is also offering his two cents: “Jail time will be good for her,” Saran told Hollywood Life on Wednesday. Farrah fired back in response to that remark in baffling fashion, saying: “I have no online profiles, I do not date at the moment and I do not have time for fake stories as these.” She added: “Exes should stop trying to make up derogatory things about a hard working woman who is focused solely on TV, movie projects, along with running three stores,” Reps for Farrah have issued multiple statements maintaining her innocence. “This situation has been blown out of proportion,” reads one such document issued last night. “Farrah has not been charged and was released this afternoon. A misunderstanding occurred and there was no battery or trespassing. Farrah is the hardest working individual I know and sets very high standards for herself.” To be fair, Farrah has not yet been charged — but prosecutors still have until the end of this week to make a decision on that matter. We are one month away from Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County , and fans even have a new trailer to get them hyped. But, in the meantime, Shannon Beador has a new boyfriend . She’s learning to love again, and fans are happy to know this. And a report says that Shannon can’t imagine why she ever put up with cheating David’s lies for as long as she did. Celebrity Insider reports that, per their source, Shannon Beador is “a good place in her life right now.” What’s more — now that she’s experienced what a healthy relationship can be like, thanks to her boyfriend, she realizes what a nightmare her 17-year marriage really was. “David is going to regret everything,” the insider spills. “And, sadly, she will never take him back.” Well, that’s not so sad. Not after you’ve seen David Beador’s cruel and hateful text messages . But it sounds like she’s finally at a place where his hurtful words don’t leave as much of a sting. “Shannon thinks that he is such a joke,” the insider says. Shannon knows this now, “and is grateful for her friends and fans who helped get her through all of that mess,” according to the source. As we mentioned, Shannon has a new boyfriend. His name is Alex. They really seem to be having a good time with each other — to the point that it’s a shame that Alex has no plans to appear on The Real Housewives of Orange County . They’ve been going on dates and, for the first time in about two decades, Shannon is experiencing what it’s like to date and fall in love again. All things considered, she is reportedly wishing that she had “pulled the plug” on David the first time that he cheated. Can you blame her? You can’t. Becoming a happier person isn’t the only transformation that Shannon has undergone since kicking David to the curb. Remember how she gained weight last year thanks to mounting worries? It wasn’t much, and it certainly didn’t make her fat , but she did gain 40 pounds. And it sounds like David became unloving after Shannon gained that weight . Well, success is the best revenge. And Shannon is acquiring quite the revenge body. Thanks to hunky fitness trainer Steven Michael Sanada, Shannon has really transformed herself. It is estimated that she has already lost 35 of those unwanted pounds. David has his own new girlfriend , and he has not been shy about it. And, considering how acrimonious things have become between David and Shannon, he may never try to get her back. (HIs loss) But we have to consider that he may be alienating more than just Shannon. His rude behavior may irreperably damage his relationship with their three daughters. After all, this is the man who reportedly shut off the water to Shannon’s house — the one where his children live — because he was allegedly feeling spiteful over the spousal support that he was ordered to pay. Between that and all three girls having seen how he treated Shannon in the months leading up to their split, some wonder if his actions have cost him his entire family. There’s no amount of exercise that can fix that, dude. Shannon is starting her second act in life. So many marriages end in divorce, and it can be difficult to put yourself out there again and date. In fact, some people don’t even bother. Good for Shannon for knowing her worth and finding the strength to move on and find new happiness. Ever since Briana DeJesus joined the cast of Teen Mom 2, her storyline has been more about relationships than actually being a mom. Last season, we saw her dealing with Luis Miguel, a guy who impregnated her after a hookup. They tried to give dating a go, but it didn't work out, and things got so messy between them that at one point Briana was even contemplating placing their child for adoption . We also saw her struggle to coparent with Devoin Austin, the father of her older daughter, Nova. He wanted to spend more time with Nova, but Briana didn't feel comfortable with it, and then Briana's mother, Roxanne, climbed on a table in a restaurant to berate him. It was a lot to take in, to say the least. This season, Luis seems to be nearly completely out of the picture, and Devoin hasn't been able to step up , either. Or at least, that seems to be the case — the vast, vast majority of Briana's story this season has been her relationship with Javi Marroquin and her feud with Kailyn Lowry . The point of all this is to say that unlike some of the other moms, Briana's children haven't really been a focus on the show, not really. Until now, that is. In this heartbreaking sneak peek for tonight's new episode, Briana's finished her maternity leave and is back at her day job, so her sister and her mother are home caring for her children. Brittany tends to baby Stella while Roxanne sits down with Nova to do some schoolwork, and she decides to have a conversation about their home life, too. “Hey, let me ask you something,” she says. “You excited about your mom going back to work?” Nova nods, but when Roxanne asks her if she'll miss her, she says no. And when she asks her why, she says “Because she doesn't like taking care of me, she likes taking care of Stella.” “You think she likes to take care of Stella?” Roxanne asks. “But wait wait wait wait wait, you know why she takes care of Stella, right?” Nova says that she knows Stella is a baby, and Roxanne tells her that she still takes care of her anyway, and so does Grandma and Ti Ti. “But Ti Ti doesn't because she's too lazy,” Nova whispers as Brittany drinks some juice in the background. “A little bit,” she acknowledges, “but I take care of you, right? So you have a lot of us taking care of you.” Unfortunately, Nova doesn't seem too convinced. Obviously, this is totally normal — Briana's not doing anything wrong here. Nova is feeling a little jealous of her baby sister, but Briana has to give her a different kind of attention, and good on her for not quitting her job even though she's back on MTV. Still, this is really sad to see. Nova is so sweet, so to see her hurting is tough. Hopefully when we see the full episode, Briana will help to make her feel a little better with all the changes going on in their family. In the meantime, let poor little Nova break your heart, too, by watching the clip below:
