Kylie Rae Harris: Late Singer Accused of DUI, Killing 16-Year-Old In Car Crash

Last week, the music world was stunned by the death of Kylie Rae Harris . The 30-year-old country music sensation was killed in a multiple-car accident while driving to a gig near Taos, New Mexico. A 16-year-old girl named Mria Elena Cruz was also killed in the September 4 crash. Now, in a shocking turn of events, police have revealed that Harris appears to have been responsible for the crash, and alcohol may have been a factor. “At this time I will say with most certainty that Miss Cruz was an innocent victim of this senseless crash caused by Ms. Harris,” Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe said during a recent press conference. While authorities have not decisively concluded that Harris was drunk at the time of the accident, they apparently have reason to believe that she was drinking on the night of the crash. The singer was arrested on DUI charges in 2017 and ordered to install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle, multiple outlets indicate. Previously, she had received a speeding citation. Police say speed was also a factor in last week’s accident. Rather eerily, Harris’ last Instagram post included this fond reflection of her life on the road: “I’ve been driving for almost 12 hours and you would think that’s so exhausting and boring but like, the last couple of hours driving through the mountains and remembering my place in the back seat as a little kid when my dad was making these treks here,” Harris said. “Like, it was the f–king best,” In another strange coincidence, Harris filmed a video just hours before her death, in which she spoke about the fact that several of her family members have died near Taos. “My grandparents lived here, my uncle still lives here,” she told the camera. “Literally, everybody that was here has passed away, except for my uncle, and including my dad.” Harris’ passing was confirmed in a statement released by her publicist last Wednesday night: “We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night. “We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. “The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.” Our thoughts go out to the Harris and Cruz families at this difficult time. Britney Spears’ Doctor Abruptly Dies Just Days Before Vital Testimony

After the frightening allegation of child abuse made public last week, fans hope that Jamie Spears will lose his convservatorship over Britney . But even as it looks like his tyrranical rule will come to an end, another complication has come up in the battle for Britney’s freedom. Just days before the court hears vital testimony, the doctor in charge of Britney’s care abruptly died. Dr. Timothy Benson was the psychiatrist responsible for Britney Spears’ long-term mental health care. On August 24, Benson passed away in Santa Monica. There has been no official release of the cause of death. But TMZ reports that, according to various sources, Benson died of an an aneurysm. The psychiatrist was 48 years old. So, within the next week or so, a court-appointed evaluator will deliver some important testimony. This is after spending three months burying themselves in all of the details of Britney’s life, care, health, and conservatorship.  The evaluator’s task was determining whether Britney’s healthcare was appropriate. (Or, rather, to present evidence and an expert opinion to the court so that the judge can make that determination) Obviously, Dr. Benson was extremely relevant to this topic before his extremely sudden passing last month. Raising questions about Britney’s medical care isn’t just some cheap tactic for discrediting Jamie Spears. Last spring, even Lynne expresed concerns, and filed with the court to remain in the loop on Britney’s health and treatments. Before that, Britney’s mom had never publicly expressed much interest in her daughter’s psychiatric care or conservatorship. Now, it doesn’t sound like she trusts Jamie to always act in Britney’s interests. She has even openly discussed what some would call conspiracy theories about the conservatorship manipulating Britney’s social media. The good news right now is that Jamie Spears will not be holding Britney’s leash for long. He has filed with the court to be relieved of conservatorship, passing down the reigns to Britney’s case manager, Jodi Montgomery. This move is temporary, for now, but has to do with the conservator being ultimately responsible for Britney’s children. You can’t responsibly look after Sean Preston and Jayden James if you’re not allowed near them. And Jamie is not permitted near them because he is under police investigation for allegedly assaulting Sean Preston. Child abusers should not be conservators, particularly when that means managing their alleged victims. Jodi is expected to remain in the conservatorship position until January, but it’s possible that Jamie will never regain that position. (Fingers crossed, folks!) One major factor will be the conclusions that the evaluator has drawn. (Not to speak ill of the dead, but Dr. Benson’s qualifications to treat Britney when he normally helps professional athletes … some people had questions) Another major factor will be the results of the criminal investigation into Jamie. Of course, given that the US justice system is genuinely not designed to protect children, the evaluator is more likely to have an impact. The #FreeBritney has been growing louder this year, arguing that her conservatorship has gone on longer than it should have. It’s not clear what “serious psychological problems” she may have that allegedly require a lifetime of micromanagement. Countless adults have psychiatric ailments and manage their own medications and behavior just fine. A lot of hopes from fans are riding on what the evaluator may have to say about what Britney really needs and whether she’s getting it. In the end, we all want what’s best for Britney and for her children. Of course, creepily, that’s probably what her terrible dad would say. Christina Anstead Welcomes Third Child! And We Know the Name!

Flip or Flop? How about neither? How about… celebrate! Christina Anstead and her husband, Ant, now have a reason to be doing exactly that, as they just welcomed their first child into the universe together. “Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world,” Christina wrote today on Instagram, adding in further detail: “Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! Our healthy baby boy was born this morning- 9/6/19 – 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.” Added the very excited new father: “Welcome to the world! Hudson London Anstead I am in awe! Mummy and baby are simply perfect!” Here is our very first look at the precious newborn and his parents: The baby boy is the couple’s first child as a, well, couple. Christina, who still hosts an HGTV show with her ex-husband, shares son Brayden James, 4, and daughter Taylor Reese, 9 this month, with Tarek El Moussa. Ant is also a father to son Archie, 13, and daughter Amelie, 16 this month, with his ex Louise. That’s quite the large and busy household! Christina and Ant got married in December of 2018. They confirmed that they had a little one on the way three months later. “@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September,” the California native wrote alongside a PDA pic on Instagram in March, adding: “The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling #5 #Gonnaneedabiggercar.” Christina and Tarek seemed like the perfect couple for years as the hosts of Flip or Flop. However, they announced their separation in December of 2016 after a bizarre incident in which the stars got into an argument and then Christina called the cops because Tarek went into the woods with a gun . The situation was eventually resolved (Tarek said he was simply afraid of wild animals) and the pair eventually finalized their divorce. Ever since, Christina and Tarek have been very respectful of each other in public, never insulting the other one and always emphasizing that their children came first. And now Christina has a third child to prioritize. “It’s so amazing that we get to raise a child together,” she told People Magazine earlier this summer. “All of the kids are so excited. I love all the fun chaos and a full house. I always thought I would only have two, and now I’ll have five! For his part,  El Moussa actually spilled the baby beans again on Thursday, September 5, when he told Us Weekly his ex-wife’s due date: “She’s having the baby tomorrow, so I’m excited for her. Tomorrow my children are going to have a new brother. It’s all one big family!” How mature and responsible, right? Congrats to the parents!

Wendy Williams on The View: Cheating is Fine, a Love Child is NOT!!

Everybody's watching this segment of  The View , and for once, it's not because of something dumb that Meghan McCain said. Wendy Williams showed up to speak about her history of substance abuse and, most significantly, about her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter. She explains that there was only one reason for their split, and it wasn't his infidelity — not exactly. After welcoming Wendy to the table, Sunny Hostin goes over how Wendy filed for divorce in April after nearly 22 years of marriage to Kevin Hunter. Wendy reminds her that she and Kevin were together for 25 years. “Because of his infidelity,” she explains of Wendy's break-up. Wendy has to correct her. “Infidelity is one thing,” Wendy clarifies. “A full baby is a whole other topic.” Joy Behar chimes in: “A baby did it.” “A baby!” Wendy emphasizes. “I'm not changing Pampers. I want to be pampered!” That's a very good line that clearly Wendy said to a friend at some point and has latched onto. Joy points out that surely Wendy would never be asked to change the diapers. This results in a very awkward exchange in which Wendy explains to Joy, a comedian, that it's a joke. “If I don't laugh,” Wendy states. “Then I'll cry.” “I learned from my mother how to make lemons into lemonade,” Wendy states. “What am I supposed to do?” Wendy asks rhetorically. “Stay in the house and cry all day?” Don't judge how I spend my Saturdays, Wendy! (that, too, is a joke) Sonny then congratulates Wendy on her resolution to never speak ill of Kevin in public. “I save that for when I get back to my bachelorette pad,” Wendy half-jokes. Sonny points out that having parents constantly speaking ill of each other can be bad for the children. (Not always! Each divorce is unique, and sometimes one parent or the other is a true monster, and the kids need that affirmed by the good parent) Wendy explains that, while her young adult son Kevin Jr. is a consideration, there's more to it than that. “It's not just about young Kevin,” Wendy explains. “It's about, you know, Kevin's not a bad man — Big Kev.” “But you can't just throw away 25 years and start talking recklessly about the other person,” she reasons. “Otherwise,” Wendy asks. “What does that say about me?” Wendy reveals that the decision to divorce her cheating, lovechild-fathering husband came easily. She didn't have a huge internal debate. She also did not consider marriage counseling to somehow “fix” things. “You do this? Get out!” Wendy expresses as her attitude after Kevin impregnated his mistress. That is a very understandable position to take. No therapist can somehow counter the existence of an extramarital baby. The audience clearly agrees and showers Wendy with applause. Now, notably, Wendy also addresses how she had battled with substance addiction. She says that she was only ever addicted to one substance, and that was cocaine. Wendy also clarifies that this was not recent — that her addiction took place 25 years ago, and that she cleaned up her act when she met Kevin. She claims that her stay at the sober house was more of a break from being in contact with people as she planned her next move. That's … not really what sober houses are for, right?

In the age of social media, it seems like it’s every day that we see someone killed by police–or even without police present, we see people being shot all across our timelines. Of all the videos that have we’ve been subjected to over the years, there definitely hasn’t been a story with as many twists as this one. According to KTLA , officials received a call from a distressed woman stating that she wanted her son removed from their home. While talking to the dispatcher, they lost contact with the woman and around that time, deputy Meagan Forsberg arrived at the scene. As soon as she made contact with the man identified as 21-year-old Ari Young, he became combative and hostile. Young immediately began bashing the deputy in the head and forcing her to the ground. Once on the ground, her weapon is pulled and discharged. However, Young forcibly removed the gun from Forsberg’s possession and after he obtained the weapon, the deputy began to run and Young discharged the firearm in her direction. In the video below, you can see the entire altercation with around 12 rounds being fired from the arriving deputies. There’s still no word on how many times he was shot, but San Bernardino County Sheriff’s confirm his injuries are reportedly non-life threatening. Buku Abi, R. Kelly’s Daughter Has No Relationship With Her Father But Music Will Always Connect Them

For those who don’t know, Andrea Kelly is a very skilled dancer. It’s how she met R. Kelly before the two ultimately married and had three children. I don’t have to tell you that Buku’s father, singer R. Kelly is in the midst of yet another legal battle. He’s currently imprisoned on charges of child pornography, including videos of himself having sex with underage girls. SEE ALSO:  R. She spoke to the Associated Press about her journey. Abi, who was born JoAnn Kelly, claimed that she had seen the hellish part of the game and wanted no parts. But she couldn’t leave music alone. In the midst of everything she’s gone through, music has been a solace. And when your father’s R. Kelly, things can get rough. Abi explained when her father’s “sins” started seeping into her own life. “At home it’s normal, you’re living a life with your parents; your dad and mom aren’t going to go into all the bad things that might be going on outside of home,” she said, “but kids in school don’t necessarily care. Fifth and sixth grade is when I started learning the sore part of it, the not so good part. I think that was the hardest part for me because for so long I went with this image of who my dad (was) and what my family (was).” When her classmates started telling her stories about her own father, Abi said there were times when she considered suicide. Ever since then, I’ve been in it and it’s literally saved my life.” Naturally, attempting a music career, with her father’s reputation hasn’t been easy. “I definitely run across challenges — people wanting to work with me to spite him or people not wanting to work with me just because of who he is. I’ve definitely come across turmoil … being judged for really no reason at all, just based off associations. I’ve been pushing through it. Me making the art, it saved my life so there’s nothing really that would be able to stop me.” Abi released her debut project this past March with the help of her sister Jaah Kelly, who produced the album. The two collaborated on a song called “Wanna Be There.” It appeared on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet. “At that time I was in a place where I was genuinely trying to have a relationship with my father. But it was so complicated at that time, as it always is. It was a great experience, I’m glad that I did it, but it just wasn’t like what everybody assumed, and that’s the part that sucks. It wasn’t this big kumbaya moment.” If it didn’t happen then, the likelihood of it happening now with R. Kelly being in jail as he awaits his trial in April is unlikely. Trina’s Mother, Vernessa Taylor Dies Of Cancer At 62

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Trina ‘s mother has passed away, TMZ confirmed. The Miami rapper’s mother, Vernessa “Nessa” Taylor died early Tuesday morning (Sept. 3) after a battle with cancer. She was 62. “Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding Trina’s mother. It truly gives the family some peace and comfort knowing that ‘Nessa’ lived such a fulfilling life filled with love and abundance,” Trina’s rep said in a statement. Trina and her family are asking for privacy during this difficult time. Taylor was known as a “pillar of her community,” a supporter of women an advocate for “self-love, confidence, and perseverance among women in general,” and the woman who helped shape her daughter into one of hip-hop’s most influential rappers and businesswomen. Trina recently paid tribute to her mom on the 2017 song “Mama” featuring  Kelly Price . The song also appears on Trina’s recently released album  The One . She gave the Recording Academy a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, which paid touching tribute to Taylor. “My mom was kinda sick when I was in the studio making this song, and I was in a really down place,” she told the Academy. “I called her on the phone, she wasn’t feeling so good, so that inspired the song. I just went into the studio with all these emotions … and that’s how it came out.” “Respect, admire, love your mom,” she added. “You only get one mom in the entire world. You can never, ever get another one. No matter what happens, one only comes your way, that’s a blessing.”

Kevin Federline Accuses Jamie Spears of Child Abuse

… and, just like that, Britney Spears’ new hair color doesn’t seem like a very big deal any longer. Not after multiple outlets have confirmed Kevin Federline recently accused his former father-in-law of child abuse. The former professional dancer — who was married to Spears for two years and who shares kids Sean Federline, 13, and Jayden James Federline, 12 — with the global superstar, has filed an official police report  against Jaime Spears. In documents obtained by The Blast, it has been reported that Kevin filed said report on August 25, the day after an alleged physical altercation between Jamie and his and Britney’s oldest son, Sean. This incident supposedly went down at Jamie’s home in Ventura County while he was watching his grandkids. According to TMZ insiders, an altercation between Jamie and Sean turned physical at one point… with Mr. Spears putting his hands on his grandson in violent fashion. It was not by accident, either, these same insiders explain. TMZ writes that Jamie broke down a door to get to his grandson and grabbed him once he was in the room. It’s unclear at this time exactly what precipated to confrontation — not that it matters, of course. The action described above is wildly inappropriate and likely illegal, if the report is true. Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ that there were no visible bruises or injuries to the 13-year old. Nevertheless, this incident was severe enough to Federline that he reported it the next to day to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. While we await further details, we can at least report investigators have already interviewed witnesses and turned over their findings to the District Attorney’s Office. The district attorney is the person who will now determine if there’s enough evidence against Jamie Spears to file charges. Spears and Federline stunned the world when they exchanged vows in 2004; they took fans by less surprise in 2006 when they filed for divorce. This police report filing comes just days after Federline and Spears formalized a custody agreement in which Kevin will have custody of their two sons 70 percent of the time. This has been the general arrangement for about a year, but it is now legal. Prior to this set-up, Kevin and Britney — who have been on very solid terms for many years — shared custody of their kids equally. UPDATE : As you could have guessed, this alleged altercation between Jamie and Sean took place during Britney’s allotted time with the children. We cannot say for certain where she was at the time, but she allegedly took Sean and Jayden away from their grandfather at one point and brought them back to her home.  Federline was called later to pick them up and the boys stayed the evening of August 24 with their father. If Jamie is charged, the crime will more than likely be considered a misdemeanor. Jamie has served as the conservator of his daughter’s estate for nearly a decade. He has often had a turbulent relationship with Federline, especially of late. Earlier this year, Jamie and Kevin went at it in court over an increase in child support for the former DJ as he took over the majority of custody while Britney dealt with mental health issues. Farrah Abraham SLAMMED By Fans: Stop Dragging Your Daughter to Adult Parties!

The Venice Film Festival has attracted a lot of controversy this week, primarily due to the decision to include works by controversial filmmakers such as Roman Polanski and Nate Parker. But it’s also elicited lots of annoyed groans and eye-rolls due to the decision to invite Z-list celebs wno have nothing to do with the film world. Yes, for reasons that no one fully understands, Farrah Abraham was on hand for the event. As you can see, Farrah is being her usually ridiculous self on the red carpet, coming dangerously close to flashing some vadge at the premiere of the new Brad Pitt film, Ad Astra . We would speculate that Farrah’s goal is to catch Brad’s attention and become the stepmom to his 47 children, but let’s be honest — there’s no way she’s thinking that far in advance. We’ve seen that look on Farrah’s face before, and it screams, “I only have a vague idea of where the hell I am.” That said, Farrah’s purpose in attending was 100% to steal the spotlight from the filmmakers and actors who actually belong there. And these days, it’s not just her own “career” that she’s trying to boost, but also her daughter’s. Yes, these days Farrah has a very complex relationship with her 10-year-old offspring. She frequently slams Sophia in brutally mean videos that she posts on YouTube, but she also never goes anywhere without her. The reason for this seems to be two-fold: 1. Farrah is aware that her own career prospects are dwindling, and she’s desperately hoping that Sophia will become famous enough to support her, and  2. She’s a former reality star that got fired from her show almost two years ago, and she uses her daughter like a prop to remind people that she used to be on Teen Mom . None of this is lost on Farrah’s social media followers who promptly roasted her for her latest Venice pics. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen another person drag their kid around with them like this to this extent.
