After getting her heart shattered into a gajillion pieces on national television, Becca Kufrin wants the world to know that she’s back. With vengeance. The scorned winner of The Bachelor Season 22, Kufrin was dumped by Arie Luyendyk Jr. mere weeks after he proposed to her on the show’s emotional finale. It was a stunning and horrific development for the franchise, but fans at least had their concerns over Becca eased a little bit upon learning that she had been chosen as the next Bachelorette. Her journey to happiness (we really hope!) gets underway on May 28at 8/7c, with host Chris Harrison teasing Kufrin’s season on Twitter this week via her very first promotional photo. It features Becca in a beautiful gold gown, a red rose in hand… and a straightforward tagline plastered across the front. Let’s Do The Damn Thing . It’s pretty clear Kufrin is not messing around, isn’t it? This is a woman ready to find love on her terms for once, and she doesn’t plan on letting anyone stand in her way. The slogan seems to has become somewhat of a mantra for Kufrin, who actually used it when she was announced as the show’s lead back in March. “Words can’t express everything I’m feeling tonight, but I’m so beyond grateful for the love, support and well-wishes,” Kufrin wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of images from After the Final Rose. She then added: “I’m beyond excited for this next chapter of my journey and to have shared the start of that all with you tonight. “Now we’re doing the damn thing.” Yes you are, Becca. Kufrin handled her very public embarrassment about as well as anyone could possibly expect. She really only called out Arie one time, shortly after he tried to claim that he dumped her in front of ABC cameras specifically because he wanted to turn her into a sympathetic figure and, therefore, prompt the network to make her The Bachelorette. That was a crock of nonsense. “I don’t think he ever expected me to be [the Bachelorette], or how everything played out,” Becca said in response to this assertion. And that was basically it. Becca has had a chance to slam the living heck out of Arie and has constantly chosen to mostly take the high road. She isn’t looking for attention in this manner, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. She’s really just looking for a loving husband. “She’s not one of those people who went on the show for Instagram followers,” the insider told this outlet, adding of the 28-year old Minnesota native: “She’s got a killer job, she’s a good person and she really wants to find somebody.” We sincerely hope she does. When a toddler slipped into a family pool, only his 7-year-old brother noticed. Still a child himself, he rushed to help without hesitation. And the entire story, from the near-tragedy to the heroic rescue, was caught on video for the world to see! At a private residence in Sao Luis, Maranhao, Brazil, a little boy fell into his family's swimming pool. Almost no one heard anything. But one person leapt into action. His heroic rescuer was not a lifeguard or parent or even an adult. He was a child himself at only 7 years old. As his aunt explained when she posted the video that you'll see below, he raced to rescue his toddler brother. Anyone who grew up as an older sibling will understand how powerful the instinct to protect your younger sibling can be. In this case, there is no doubt that he saved his brother's life. The aunt writes: “My 7-year-old nephew was drawing and heard the noise in the pool.” As you'll see in the video, he quickly sprang into action. “He had the most incredible reaction for a child of 7 years.” And it's so fortunate that he did. “Neither I nor my sister heard the noise just the desperate cries of my nephew.” Because this is what had happened to the precious little toddler. As you will see in the video, it looks like he wanders off in a matter of seconds. Young children have short attention spans and a lot of energy. A moment taken to look for something in the refrigerator or answer a phone call is all that it takes for a child to vanish. Most of the time, you'll just find them playing with a toy or trying to get a coveted snack. If you have something as potentially dangerous as a pool, however, all that it takes is a few seconds for the child to wander off and a few minutes of not being able to find them for that misstep to be fatal. As you can see, it appears that the toddler reaches for something but, being a toddler, slips into the pool without making much noise. Within seconds, his 7-year-old brother is there to save the day. The brother even makes sure that his little sibling is the first out of the pool. They then go and tell a bewildered adult what has happened. It is worth noting that one of the problems in this situation is the diaper. Children do not psychically know how to swim (let's not weigh into the water birth debate right now, please), but survival instincts can help some children figure it out really quickly. That said, diapers can act as flotation devices, preventing a baby or toddler from getting their face above water. Toddlers who fall into pools with a diaper on are at extreme risk. The aunt of these two children shared the video as a warning to other parents. But also because the 7-year-old's heroics deserve praise. Baby sister Kylie had her hands full with her own baby, so she couldn’t witness the birth in person. But that hasn’t stopped her from giving her big sis a shout-out, despite the chaos. Although initially it looked like Kylie Jenner would just keep posting but pics despite Khloe’s cheating drama and news that she’d gone into labor, it’s clear that Kylie loves Khloe. (Of course she does — even at the time, we pointed out that the two of them have always been especially close, despite their age difference) Kylie obviously couldn’t fly out to see Khloe because she’s a first time mother with a two-month-old baby of her own.
