A Chris Brown performance last night ended in someone getting stabbed, and if we ask for a show of hands asking who’s surprised … we don’t expect to see a lot of hands. Law enforcement sources say it’s yet another case of trouble following the R&B singer and his entourage, and that police have been trying to stop this (to no avail). The stabbing took place right after Brown finished his set at a YMCMB Drake-Lil Wayne after-party at Supperclub in Hollywood, according to witnesses and reports. Several people leaving got into a fight and someone got stabbed. The victim, whose identity is not known, was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has come under fire for the league’s investigation and response to Rice’s recorded assault of his then-fiancee. The firestorm over the incident put Goodell under scrutiny from media and social critics., and the Adrian Peterson alleged child abuse scandal has further rocked the league. Silver made it clear that the events have prompted a review of policies at the NBA’s offices. If you’re already wondering how you’ll get your sexy vampire fix after True Blood’s final season comes to a close this summer, worry not: Sookie Stackhouse and company may be Broadway-bound. True Blood creator Alan Ball is reportedly working with HBO and composer Nathan Barr to produce a musical version of the beloved HBO series. Of course, in order to really stay true to the spirit of Bon Temps, the show would have to be a strictly 18-and-older affair. “This was something that I pitched to Alan Ball and HBO,” said Barr at a recent season seven premiere party. “I think we’re really trying to return to the roots of the show.” In other words, don’t expect all of your favorite vamps, werewolves, and telepathic fairies to appear on stage, as the musical will focus mainly on the beginning stages of Sookie’s story. Still, it’s exciting news for diehard True Blood fans…or just folks who want to see naked people on stage, but can’t bring themselves to go to a strip club. Prince Joshua Avitto, 6, died and his 7-year-old playmate Mikayla Capers was left fighting for her life after a man stabbed both kids in an elevator inside an East New York, Brooklyn, building on Sunday, cops said. The hulking attacker brutally attacked the kids in an elevator at the Boulevard Houses on Schenck Ave. at 5:50 p.m., cops and family members said. “He took my pride and joy away,” said the boy’s father, Nicholas Avitto, who lamented how he had not kissed his son that day. “I’m devastated. I’m beyond comprehension. I’m trying to understand how God works. My son is gone. That was the light of my life.” The heavyset killer, believed to be in his 20s, pulled out a knife and stabbed both children in the torso on the lift somewhere between the first and fourth floors after telling them to “shut up,” a police source said. The attacker then ran off through the housing project and ditched the murder weapon that was soon found by cops, authorities said. Both children, meanwhile, were left bloodied and fading fast. Mikayla had enough strength to stumble out of the elevator on the first level but she soon collapsed to the floor, a trail of blood marking her attempt to flee. The boy was discovered when the elevator arrived on the fourth floor, police said. “She was laying face up, they were on her chest. They (EMTs) opened up her jacket and all you could see is blood,” said neighbor Kevin Velez, 41, who then saw the dying boy. He was covered head to toe in blood. I just seen that little boy yesterday. I’m hurt. These are my daughter’s friends. These are kids.” Both children were taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where Prince Joshua, known to family and friends as P.J., died a short time later, authorities said. Damn homie… Chris Brown Sentenced To 131 Additional Days In Jail Over Probation Violation This DC beat-down case just keeps fawking Chris’ life up. That rumored stroll down the aisle with ride-or-die ‘Rueche will have to wait a little while longer, because the judge decided today that Breezy will have to stay behind bars through the end of the summer. Via TMZ : Chris Brown has just been sentenced to spend another 4-plus months in jail … for violating his probation in the Rihanna case. Brown was in court Friday afternoon … where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight with a dude in Washington D.C. That’s all the judge needed to hear. He sentenced Chris to 1 year in jail. HOWEVER, Chris got credit for 116 days he spent in rehab, and another 59 days behind bars. That leaves 131 days in the pokey. It’s possible Chris will get out a lot earlier because of jail overcrowding. The judge could have gone a lot harder — 4 years in prison. But Chris got a break because the judge took into account he was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which could account for some of the violence. The judge also ordered Chris to attend therapy sessions with a shrink 2 times a week. And he must submit to random drug testing 3 times a week. Chris is not out of the legal woods … his D.C. assault trial is set to start in the following months. Looks like the slammer has been taking quite the toll on Chris . Hopefully when all of this is over he’ll finally learn to keep his act together and control his impulses.
