Source: republica / Getty Yes, another day, another viral challenge. However most social media challenges we see aren’t as sensual as this latest one. Technically, it hasn’t officially been denominated as a “challenge” yet, since it’s move of a sex tip than a summons. But age appropriate Internet users have done it enough for it to go viral, so don’t say we didn’t mention it to you once it blows up on the web. It started back in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The tip is to use your hips and waist to spell the word “coconut” while on top during intercourse. Writing 'COCONUT ” using your waist is the trick to master women on top!! Thank me later ladies! — KE SHARP (@danielmarven) February 14, 2019 Some people nailed it. Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty Jadakiss had us all confused when an NYC pizza spot revealed he hits them up to basically order bread. The Yonkers rapper is defending his decision to order pizza, but just the crust aka glorified breadsticks. According to Kiss, he’s on a health kick—and he’s not messing with dairy. Reports TMZ : Kiss says the viral image is actually from a year ago, and his good friend, the owner of Cuts and Slices pizza shop in Brooklyn, re-posted it after another pizza parlor announced it was now offering a pie made only of crust. Jadakiss’ odd order sent the internet into a tizzy … but he’s not dishing back the hate he’s received. He says pizza lovers should order their pies however they want, and he’s got nothing against peeps who pile on cheese. It just ain’t for him. Source: Peter Cade / Getty Instagram Might Be Getting Rid Of Their Public Like Count Sometime Soon Some of us like to act like we don’t care about Instagram likes–and some of us actually, really don’t care. But others have built entire careers off the number of likes they can pull in per picture, so there’s definitely something important about the number under that little heart icon on all of our pictures. While the number of people who double tap certain photos seems pretty arbitrary, a lot of people are starting to think more and more that the attention we pay to social media can be harmful to our self-esteem, mental health, and other factors in our real life. That’s why Instagram could be getting rid of this feature for good. Instagram is expanding its test of a feature that hides their public “like” counts. The test began in Canada in back in April, and, starting on Wednesday, the test expanded to Ireland, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand. At this point, this is still just an experiment, and Instagram hasn’t said whether or not the feature will come to the US–but this gradual implementation into different areas could be the platform’s way of introducing a really big change. As for the tests going down in these 7 countries, Instagram users can opt out of the test, but it’s on by default. “Likes” aren’t shown in any public part of the app, including on public-facing grids or on the main feed, but the person who posted an image can still see the “like” count privately. We’re currently running a test that hides the total number of likes and video views for some people in the following countries: Australia Brazil Canada Ireland Italy Japan New Zealand pic.twitter.com/2OdzpIUBka — Instagram (@instagram) July 17, 2019 There have been a lot of positive and negative reactions to this newly implemented test run, with most of the concern being for the livelihood of Instagram’s influencers. After the initial idea was announced, Elle ran a story titled “Instagram Is Experimenting With Hiding Likes, Which Would Make It Much Harder to Be an Influencer,” which points out that brands care a lot more about hiring influencers with high engagement rates (a high percentage of likes compared to their follower count) on their posts than they do about how many followers someone has. On the contrary, marketing blogger Charles Tumotto Jackson argued that influencers would be fine — probably just pivoting to a higher reliance on Instagram Stories. That’s where they can use the swipe-up feature to link directly to purchasing pages, and “everything becomes measurable and even more transparent than it used to be.” Plus, like mentioned above, the influencers themselves can still see how many likes are being brought in, which is something they can show to a brand just like the back-end analytics already provides–proving once more that their business and livelihood probably won’t be affected by this change as much as people think. Whether you’re trying to build your influencer game or you just frequent the platform to see what your friends are up to: how do you feel about public “like” counts possibly being no more?

A video of a producer by the name of DJ Track Addict making its rounds on Twitter set him up with an opportunity of a lifetime to work with Meek Mill . Wednesday (July 17) the video of the producer working on speaker knocking on his MPC machine went viral on the social media network. Users put out the signal for the Dreams and Nightmare to hop on the beat that — they felt was perfect for him — and he answered the call. Source: Joshua Lott / Getty 4 Chicago Cops Fired For Cover-Up Of Laquan McDonald Murder For once there appears to be some justice when it comes to police who killed Black people . As we previously reported, the Chicago cop who killed Laquan McDonald , Jason Van Dyke, has been convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 6 years and 9 months in prison. Today, we are happy to report that the cops who tried to help Van Dyke cover-up his murderous intent have all been fired from the Chicago Police Department according to NBCNews . Chicago’s superintendent of police, Eddie Johnson, in 2016 had recommended that Sgt. Stephen Franko and officers Ricardo Viramontes, Janet Mondragon and Daphne Sebastian be fired for violating rules of conduct after the shooting, according to the board’s decision released Thursday. Franko, who was the first on-scene supervisor in the October 2014 shooting, approved reports that “contained several demonstrable and known falsehoods,” including that Van Dyke was injured by the 17-year-old, who had been carrying a knife, the police board wrote in the decision. The other three officers, all of whom were on the scene, gave statements about the shooting, and the board found that “each of the three officers failed in their duty — either by outright lying or by shading the truth.” We kinda wish these cops would be charged criminally and imprisoned too because they definitely deserve it, but at LEAST they lost their jobs. Good riddance.
Source: MStudioImages / Getty Faceapp had social media going crazy over the past week with people posting pictures of what they would look like as seniors. It even started a viral hashtag called the #faceappchallenge but now people who participated may have voluntarily given their information to Russians. Experts are concerned about the privacy and security of the app and it’s permissions and what it could be collecting from it’s users. Basically if you have the app the Russians who created the app can now have access to your personal information and identity which could pose a problem on many levels. Via NYPost: But be warned: FaceApp, which you grant permission to access your photo gallery, also includes in their Terms and Conditions that they have the right to modify, reproduce and publish any of the images you process through its AI. That means that your face could end up being commercialized — or worse. UK-based Digitas strategist James Whatley said on Twitter, “You grant FaceApp a perpetual, irrevocable… royalty-free… license to use, adapt, publish, distribute your user content… in all media formats… when you post or otherwise share.” That means they can also use your real name, your username or “any likeness provided” in any format without notifying, much less paying, you. They can retain that material as long as they want, even after you delete the app, and you won’t be able to stop them. I n November of last year, a man named Masin Elijè made some extreme allegations against NBA star Dwight Howard . He claimed they were boyfriends, that Howard was into transgender sex parties and that Howard and his pastor conspired to kill him because he refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Elijè filed a lawsuit and Howard countersued, claiming everything Elijè, whose real name is is Maurice Singletary, was lying. Now Howard is speaking out for the first time about the rumors and his answer may surprise you. See Also: Complete Timeline Of Jussie Smollett Investigation Speaking to Fox Sports 1’s Kristine Leahy, Howard said, “I went through a situation last year that really just set me free. It ended up being a situation that was—it went viral. People were talking about it, and it upset me because I didn’t even know who the person was. Why would somebody who I never met, never had any contact with, make up a whole story about me? I saw all the hate, the pure hate, from people that I’ve never met before, just pile up everywhere I went.” He continued, “I think that liberated me. Because I saw how a lot of people would feel, whether they’re gay or they’re straight. Whether they have issues. People are afraid to be who they are. They’re afraid to just step out and be. Because they’re afraid of what other people might say or think about them. That situation made me realize you’re not like this, but just be you, be free.” Howard added, “I’m not gay.” But he explained the situation gave him empathy, “It’s a lot of people who are and they have to hide, and there’s people who have mental issues and they have to hide. There’s people who have different problems in life and they have to hide. They have to put on the mask every day, and it’s like, I don’t wanna wear no mask, I just wanna be.” Watch below: “I'm not gay… It hurt at first to go through it. I sat at home and I was like 'I never want to come outside again.'” @DwightHoward spoke on the allegations that he was gay. ( : @FairGameonFS1 | @KristineLeahy ) pic.twitter.com/WcXz2WtOfY — Complex Sports (@ComplexSports) July 16, 2019 In April, Bossip exclusively reported that Howard sued the YouTube personality for libel, slander, invasion of privacy and abusive litigation, according to court docs. Howard is asking for $10 million in damages. “I don’t know this person, never seen him. Any allegation said about me is false,” Howard told TMZ back in March. He also called the lawsuit a “money grab.” In November, Elijè posted a series of incendiary tweets , beginning with one that said his “life was threatened after I was sexually harassed, threatened and manipulated, by someone I respected, my ex boyfriend NBA player Dwight Howard, and his camp also ‘catfished’ by his disrespectful ass PASTOR.” I was afraid to speak but today my life was threatened after I was sexually harassed, threatened and manipulated, by someone I respected, my ex boyfriend NBA player Dwight Howard, and his camp also “”catfished”” by his disrespectful ass PASTOR pic.twitter.com/n1I1fwDcUw — Ah-Mazìn (@MasinElije) November 25, 2018 The lengthy thread of tweets included purported audio proof of a conversation with Howard about him acknowledging a sexual relationship with Elijè. He claims they met at a “Wild’n Out” party. And while a person’s sexual orientation isn’t newsworthy, that context was important to mention because Elijè also made a similar accusation on Twitter last year against rapper Playboi Carti. As Bossip reminded readers, those claims were “allegedly discredited.” The eight-time NBA All Star had been nursing a lingering gluteal injury that kept him sidelined this past regular season. Source: Mario Mitsis/WENN.com / WENN Sarah Jessica Parker Says She Was Harassed by A Big Movie Star On Set Sadly, even the biggest stars in the industry are subject to power imbalances and harassment in the workplace. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed recently that she was harassed by a “very, very big movie star” during a discussion of the #MeToo movement on an episode of NPR’s Fresh Air . The actress did not name who the person was or give away the project, but she wanted to make it clear that industry problems with harassment exist on all levels. She admitted that recent events forced her to reevaluate the way she had been treated throughout her career. “It really wasn’t, I would say, until about six or eight months ago that I started recognizing countless experiences of men behaving poorly, inappropriately, and all the ways that I had made it possible to keep coming to work or to remain on set, or to simply … just push it down, push it away, find a little space for it and move on,” she told host Terry Gross. The Sex and the City star also noted that a perceived power imbalance between herself and the unnamed star kept her quiet about his harassment for a really long time. Luckily, she eventually decided that she had enough and explained the situation to her agent. Her agent ended up threatening the right people, saying that Parker would walk if the harassment continued, and that’s when the environment changed immediately. “I didn’t have to listen to jokes about me or my figure or what people thought they could talk me into doing,” she said. “That stopped.” Sarah Jessica Parker also admitted that it can be difficult, even for a star of her caliber, to come forward. “I didn’t feel as powerful as the man who was behaving inappropriately, which … strikes me as just stunning to say out loud because there were plenty of occasions where it was happening and I was in a different position and I was as powerful.”
Source: Sutad Watthanakul / EyeEm / Getty Victim’s Sons Beat Up Convicted Killer A video’s gone viral of two sons beating up the man who killed their mother. On Thursday the sentencing hearing for a man convicted of killing an Ohio woman erupted in chaos when the victim’s two sons attacked the handcuffed defendant, Dale Williams, inside the courtroom. Williams, 62, was on hand for sentencing for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Pledger Stewart, 46. While Pledger Stewart’s daughter was giving her victim impact statement, however, the woman’s two sons attacked the convicted killer. Both men managed to get to Williams and punched him before being detained. “He killed my mother, man,” said one of the sons. “That was my mama! She took care of me, bro, when nobody else did.” WKBN reports that Williams admitted to killing Pledger Stewart after waiting for her for more than 45 minutes for her to drive by him on her way to work so he could cut her off and shoot her. Both sons will spend 30 days in jail for contempt of court. Seems like it was worth it to us.
Amber Portwood is being falsely accused of wielding a machete and slashing the bathroom door behind which her boyfriend and baby son were cowering. So claims someone very close to the disgraced Teen Mom OG cast member: Her very own brother. As you may have read by now, Portwood is in serious trouble with the law. The reality star was arrested very early on the morning of July 5 after allegedly getting into a heated argument with live-in lover Andrew Glennon. According to what Glennon told the Indiana police, Portwood was set off after traffic caused her, Andrew and their child, James, to miss a July Fourth fireworks show. Amber reportedly blamed Glennon for this situation, eventually hurling a one-inch heeled shoe in his direction … threatening to kill herself by taking a bunch of pills… and then grabbing the aforementioned sword and using it to try and break into the bathroom after Andrew locked himself inside there with James. Holy frickin cow, right?!? You can read more about the allegations here: View Slideshow: Amber Portwood Threatened Suicide, Attacked Boyfriend with a Machete: Report Portwood attended a court hearing on July 10 where she was hit with THREE felonies and also ordered to stay away from both Glennon and James . Will she go to prison? Will she be fired by MTV? Will she lose custody to Andrew, after he filed to permanently have the toddler under his supervision? These are the questions now being debated by celebrity gossip followers and Teen Mom OG viewers across the nation. But Shawn Portwood claims we all need to slowo our roll… because his sister did NOT do all the things of which she’s been accused. “Stay tuned for the surprise ending. Everything’s not always all it’s cracked up to be,” Portwood Tweeted late Tuesday evening. When one individual remarked how the surprise must be that she allegedly used a “flip flop and machete,” Shawn clapped right back. He remained adamant that his sister is mostly innocent. “That’s not true at all,” he wrote. “You guys are jumping to conclusions that based off of what one person is said. But there is evidence to prove that she did not do that.” This evidence, if it exists, has not yet been made public. On the flip side, police records indicate that a police officer on the scene at Andrew and Amber’s home last Friday took photos of the marks left on Andrew’s neck from shoe Portwood threw at home. These same records state that Amber has admitted to throwing the shoe, but told the cops it barely grazed her boyfriend. Amber went to jail in 2013 for assaulting ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, a fact basically referenced by someone who responded to Shawn’s Tweet barrage. “What’s your evidence? Amber’s word? We all know she’s violent,” this person wrote to Shawn, who replied as follows: If all I had were Amber word I wouldn’t say nothing. I’m not saying I don’t trust her but I don’t go based off of word. I go based off of facts and evidence. And right now the evidence that I know of does not indicate anything about what was said she did. Intriguing, right? We’re not about to speculate too much here because this whole thing is too sensitive. There’s a one-year old child right smack dab in the middle it, let’s remember. We’ve been trying to stick solely thus far to what the police have said and what the legal system has ruled and we’ll continue to update fans on the status of Amber; her custody; and her freedom as news breaks.
