Andrew Gillum Officially Concedes Florida Governor Race To Republican Ron DeSantis [Video]

Source: Joe Skipper / Getty Andrew Gillum Officially Concedes Florida Governor’s Race According to CNN , Florida Democratic candidate for governor Andrew Gillum officially conceded to Republican Ron DeSantis, two days after a machine recount ended . The machine recount had DeSantis still leading by over 3,000 votes. The Tallahassee mayor congratulated DeSantis on becoming the next governor of Florida. Gillum conceded on Election Night, but later retracted it after the margin of votes between him and DeSantis shrunk within the level of a legally required recount and there was a chance at a runoff. Donald Trump congratulated DeSantis on his victory, and called Gillum a “strong Democrat warrior long into the future – a force to reckon with!”

Ayo Technology: Texas Man Saved From Spending 99 Years In Prison Thanks To A Selfie

  Cops arrested 22-year old Christopher Precopia while he was working at a lumberyard in Williamson County, TX, and accused him of burglary with intent to commit other crimes. Christopher had no idea what he was being taken to jail for, then later found out that his ex-girlfriend from high school had fabricated a story to the cops. The KVUE reports: The accuser said Precopia broke into her home in Temple and sliced an X into her chest with a box cutter. Her identity is not being made public because she is not being charged with a crime. She would later admit to Temple police that she reported Precopia because she had a rocky relationship with him several years earlier. On the night of the alleged attack, Precopia was actually 65 miles away at a hotel in Austin with his mom, Erin Precopia. Luckily, he decided to take a selfie of himself with his family that evening, which he posted on social media. Police have finally dropped the charges against Precopia nine months after his arrest. Thank God for selfies.

The Rewind Episode 16 On the latest episode of “The Rewind”  hosts Landon and DJ Franchise talk Mahershala Ali’s new movie Green Book. In it, Ali plays a famed pianist who has an Italian bodyguard played by Viggo Mortensen to protect him on a concert tour in the Deep South. Franchise LOVED the film and gave it a 10/10 even comparing it to Denzel’s portrayal of Malcolm X. “I’m a street bully when it comes to movies, I’m a street bully when it comes to music but […] this movie was tremendous and I really think people should check it out. I’m a big fan of Green Book,” said Franchise. They also discussed Sade “shining up her crown” for the track “The Big Unknown” from The Widows soundtrack before paying homage to the late, great Stan Lee.
