On Wednesday, the former Chief Of Staff hit up the big Duke vs. UNC game, and judging by the photos, Blue Devils star Zion Williamson isn’t the only thing Obama had his eyes on. Can you blame Obama? Once again, Cardi B is going live on Instagram and saying what we're all thinking. This time, she feels hurt and betrayed over reports that Jussie Smollett staged his own assault . She also says that it's possible that the police are framing Jussie … which she can believe because she says that police once framed her . “I’m really disappointed in him,” Cardi says of Jussie Smollett on Instagram Live. “I feel like he f–ked up Black History Month, bro. Like, damn.” “I’m not gonna say, yet,” she notes. “Until he say it out his mouth that it was fake and the shit was staged,” “I don’t want to completely blame him,” Cardi adds. She explains that her reluctance is “because somebody I was talking to they said police in Chicago are racists.” The Chicago PD is infamous, even among other metropolitan police departmants. (It took 13 months for the police to release dash cam video that showed Laquan McDonald walking away from police, proving that his death was a murder) “So,” Cardi suggests. “They might probably try to frame him and make him look like he’s a liar.” “But if he’s not,” Cardi continues. “Then bro you f–ked up, for real.” “Like, why would you do that?” she asks. A staged hate crime, especially one so famous, will be used as fodder to cast doubt on future real hate crime reports. “You got Donald Trump immunity to f–king laugh,” Cardi accuses. Cardi laments: “You make motherf–kers look bad.” “You know why I want to give him the benefit of the doubt?” Cardi rhetorically asks her followers. “I remember about 2 years ago … my cousin got into an argument with this boy, this guy, like road rage,” she says. “And my cousin got out of the car,” she narrates. “And I got out of the car.” “And you know I'm always throwing s–t,” Cardi notes. “So I threw the guy a bottle of water.” “And the guy,” she says. “He doesn't really want to fight my cousin, he wants to really fight me.” “So, the police came, and they put me in like, a headlock,” Cardi accuses. “I got on Instagram,” she notes. “And said how the police got me in a headlock.” “And since I went on Instagram, I had 12 come into my home, calling my phone, leaving me letters saying that I have to speak to them,” she describes. Various police departments have been accused of using intimidation tactics, even agaist celebrities, in order to cover for wrongdoings. “And then, when I didn't speak to them, I went to my grandmother's house,” Cardi claims. Cardi says that police were “trying to harass my cousin and everybody to talk to them.” “And since I never gave a statement to the police,” she says. “They put out a statement saying that I did it to promote my album” “So,” Cardi explains. “I don't wanna call Jussie Smollett a complete liar.” “But they do claim that they have evidence from both the brothers [to whom they spoke],” she notes. “I don't know,” Cardi admits. “I want to see what else.” Don't we all. “Because if he did that … he really f–ked up, bro,” Cardi says. “This February, you have so many people standing for you.” “I mean, why would you do that, bro?” she asks. Maybe the weirdest thing about 2019 is how deeply relatable Cardi B's viral rants, whether they're about Jussie or politics, have been. Like Cardi, we are incredibly disappointed at reports that Jussie staged his own attack. As she says, this could be used against the black acommunity and the LGBTQ+ community, and is political fodder for Trump. That said, like Cardi, we have heard troubling things about the Chicago Police Department. We would all like to have a clearer picture of the evidence before rendering our judgment.
Source: Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images for SCAD aTVfest 2019 / Getty “Proven Innocent” Airs February 15 on FOX Over the weekend, Bossip had a chance to take part in SCAD aTVFest in Atlanta, where we had the opportunity to screen the first episode of FOX’s new show “Proven Innocent,” which just so happens to star one of our favorite actors, Russell Hornsby . Check out our interview with Hornsby below, then watch a First Look at the show. BOSSIP: Tell us about your role in “Proven Innocent” and what drew you to it? Russell Hornsby: “My character Ezekiel Boudreau, Easy for short, you know what drew me to him was the character himself, he’s a lawyer who is doing right by his family, who is doing right by his community, but still essentially struggles with finding what his purpose is. In what he did with freeing this woman Madeline Scott, he found himself and he found his purpose, he found his passion and his drive — to help people. It also gave me, it gave Russell, an opportunity to bring another kind of manhood on display. And that was important to me. This man who was bright and intelligent, still stands strong and tall, also loves his family, loves his his wife. You know, I’m a throwback. So like I said I was raised in the time when both men and women were made of steel. A mentor friend of mine laced that on me a few years back. It means different things at different times but the imagery is now we can be that, but also that we are malleable. We’re not stubborn. The fact that we’ve gone to school. We are educated and we understand our culture and who we are. That we know how to love our women and that we can be passionate and sensitive and engage and all of that. We still have the steel that’s present though. But I’m still an upright man. So I want to show all of that. BOSSIP: “That is also true for the character that you played in “The Hate U Give,” Maverick Carter — as well as your character in “Seven Seconds.”” Russell Hornsby: “Look at the dynamic though. We’re talking three, even four if you look at “Lincoln Heights,” we’re talking about four different kinds of men.” BOSSIP: You’ve been married for a long time too. Russell Hornsby: “I’ve been married ten, we’ve been together fifteen. So look at that dynamic, we have this brother who has been to prison, a brother who is a police officer, a brother who loses a child, now he’s diminished but he doesn’t lose his manhood. That’s important. Then you have Ezekiel Boudreau, with the same thing. Those characterizations are important. The representation is important and I’lm all for that. As an actor and as an artist, I know how to be malleable and change and transform because I’ve been surrounded by all kinds of men. All different kinds of men raised me and stuff like that so that’s why I feel that way.” BOSSIP: Any Oscars favorites? Do you feel like the Academy has done a better job about the diversity of nominations? Russell Hornsby: The reality of it is that, people will get what’s coming to them and what they deserve and what they’ve earned and I think it’s constantly important that, yes we do these awards, but the more important thing is for the work to speak. And is the work a work of distinction. That’s my kind of submission, I can look at the work and the people nominated and be lauded and celebrated, but the work not be there, so therefore you can’t engage in who should and who will win, you just have to ensure that the work will stand and that’s how I roll. We love talking to Russell Hornsby and can’t wait to watch this newest project! “Proven Innocent” airs at 9pm EST/PST on FOX. Hit the flip for a first look at “Proven Innocent”

Chanel West Coast is not a celebrity as far as I’m concerned, she was just lucky to be cast as the receptionist bitch in an MTV show people seemed to watch back when MTV was still a thing, before MTV fucking died… But it’s amazing that she’s been able to ride that for what must be a decade….which I guess isn’t that hard thanks to instagram, because all you need to do for instagram is have one hit, one celebrity moment, one viral nonsense clip – getting you that solid base of followers…and as long as instagram exists, which will be another 2-3 years for sure…you can cash the fuck in…a lot of these sluts are just lucky to exist when in other generations they’d disappear into the hole they belong in…. Nice try at the sexy Valentine’s Day lingerie shoot though… More of her boring ass in lingerie.. JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! Source: Prince Williams / Getty The week isn’t even over yet, and already celebrities are bringing the strange and unusual. Some shenanigans might be a surprise, while others might drain you because of the same old patterns. Peep some of the news sure to stir your emotions below. Soulja Boy and Blac Chyna a couple? Blac Chyna is known for her bizarre selection of men, including a previous relationship with YBN Almight Jay who was 18 years old at the time they started dating. Chyna then upgraded to a 19-year-old , Devin Haney, less than a year later, but that also seemed to come to an end. Now, according to recent Grammy party pics , Chyna seems to be spending some quality time with Soulja Boy. Which, from a rational perspective, feels like… Why. But from a Blac Chyna perspective, it doesn’t feel strange at all. As a matter of fact, the two could probably be the poster couple for strange love. Soulja Boy recently made headlines for his dramatic visit to The Breakfast Club where he proclaimed his influence on music culture and especially Drake. Though there was some truth to his proclamations, his eccentric delivery made him go viral, almost to the point where it seemed like he planned the whole thing. Him and Blac Chyna could be a match made in heaven. Blac Chyna continually keeps herself in the headlines, sometimes for good reason, such as her revenge porn fiasco with Rob Kardashian . But then other times, you really have to think… This story is so bizarre, Chyna has to be seeking attention (or crying for help), like when Chyna promoted skin-lightening cream in Nigeria. But who knows. Either way, Young Drako and Blac Chyna can surely grab the views of the world for retweets to come. Bill Cosby is having an “amazing experience” in prison apparently With recent talks about mass incarceration and prison reform, many folks across the country are having deep conversations about what justice looks like. Bill Cosby ‘s experience in prison is sure to stir the pot, especially since his lawyer, Andrew Wyatt , says Cosby is having an “amazing experience” behind bars. Wyatt spoke to WCAU-TV about Cosby’s time in maximum security at a facility near Philly. Cosby is serving up to ten years after being convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand back in 2004. Wyatt said Cosby has high spirits while in prison, and he’s even talking to other inmates and encouraging them. “Despite the circumstances, he said, ‘This is an amazing experience,’” Wyatt said. “Mr. Cosby had prepared himself… He’s mentally strong. He’s just a strong man.” Wyatt and Cosby even maintained his innocence amidst sexual assault accusations from over 50 women. “When I visit him, it’s nothing sad about it,” Wyatt said. “He’s not sad. He’s not remorseful because he did nothing wrong.” Cosby’s “amazing experience” brings to question whether the women accusing him of rape really got the justice they needed. It’s a peculiar thought that might not have an answer right now, but one thing’s for certain… The strange times don’t stop.
