Martese Johnson Files Federal Lawsuit Against Virginia Officers UVA student Martese Johnson has filed a federal lawsuit against the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and three officers following a brutal and bloody arrest that went viral in March. According to The Root reports: The lawsuit claims that the ABC violated the 21-year-old’s constitutional rights, accusing agents of unlawfully detaining Johnson when he was arrested in the early-morning hours of March 18 following St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Officers “brutally assaulted, seized, arrested and jailed Martese without probable cause and in violation of the United States Constitution, federal statutes and the laws of Virginia, believing (falsely and without sufficient information) that Martese had presented a fake identification card to gain entry to a restaurant and bar on University Avenue in the City of Charlottesville, Va.,” the lawsuit reads, according to the Post. The suit contends that the ID was valid. Johnson was charged with public intoxication or swearing and obstruction of justice without force, but those charges were dropped by Charlottesville prosecutor Warner Chapman, the Post reports We hope Martese finally gets the justice he deserves!

We’re so very glad Lamar Odom is on a path to recovery , mostly because he seems like a very good guy who can hopefully find a way to now overcome his many personal demons. Mock her for the Kim Kardashian sex tape . Criticize her for so often posing naked and for becoming rich and famous despite a lack of talent. But give Kim Kardashian credit for one thing: North West is really, really cute. With Halloween just around the corner, and with fans wondering whether North will once again dress like a smelly animal , Kim has shared a new picture of her daughter getting into the holiday spirit. It features little North and a friend hanging out in a pumpkin patch. “bff’s at the pumpkin patch,” Kardashian wrote as a straightforward caption to this image. Kim, of course, can finally breathe a little easier because former brother-in-law Lamar Odom is on the mend. Kardashian had flown down to Las Vegas with other members of her family as soon as Lamar was hospitalized last Tuesday, presumably due to a stroke suffered as a result of a drug overdose. She remained by both her sister Khloe’s side and also Odom’s side for a few days, even taking a break from updating her official website as a result of the health scare. But Lamar started showing signs of life over the weekend, prompting Kim to Tweet that God is good and for her to return here to social media. Half-Eaten Fish Comes Back To Life And Jumps Off Plate Video A new viral video shows a half-eaten raw fish wiggling its fin s and then leaping off the edge of the plate in a Japanese restaurant… Via WPXI reports: At the end of the clip, the fish makes one more attempt to escape before the cameraman runs away scared and shuts off the footage. One explanation for why the fish moved may be in the soy sauce. According to National Public Radio, “Because this (fish) was just killed, its muscle cells were still intact and operational. A live (fish) moves by sending an electrical command from its brain to its muscles. The commands say ‘contract’ or ‘relax.’” Since the fish’s brain was no longer operating, it couldn’t send signals. Salt acts as a substitute. And soy sauce is rich in salt. It caused the muscle cells to react. “Extra sodium (the salt) sends ions to the cell that trigger the cell to open up, creating a cascade of chemical activities that causes the cell to fire, so the muscle twitches,” NPR reports. Gomez sure does, but she says in a new interview that the sexuality rumors never bothered her at all. Quite the opposite, in fact. “Honestly, I loved it. I didn’t mind it,” Selena tells PrideSource . “Especially because they weren’t talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful.” Yes, that’s a clear reference to Justin Bieber  and all the times Selena has been asked about her famous ex-boyfriend. Gomez went on to praise Delevingne as “open and fun and adventurous,” responding to a question about her sexual preferences in a surprising manner. Has she ever questioned which gender she likes best? “Oh, I think everybody does, no matter who they are,” she admits. “I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that.” Gomez even confessed that she’d choose Suki Waterhouse to portray her on-screen lesbian love interest if given the opportunity. I saw this picture that CNN posted on Sunday night on my Facebook feed this morning, because I don’t read CNN and their clickbait news, that doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of the world, but that focuses on nonsense…. I realized when there was a war breaking out overseas and the news channel was focusing on Anna Nicole Smith’s death, like it was some kind of breaking story and not passing news… Yes…famous hooker with huge tits dies in hotel room in Florida…of a drug overdose after years of showing signs of crazy – had 24 hour coverage…while a fucking war was breaking out..
