Diddy Set To Guest On ‘Entourage’

The Bad Boy mogul plays himself on HBO show. Lenny Kravitz and Mark Wahlberg also make cameos in episode, airing in August. By Mawuse Ziegbe Diddy Photo: Getty Images For its seventh season, HBO’s “Entourage” is enlisting a superstar who’s known for rolling with his own mega-entourage. Diddy will make a guest appearance on the series’ upcoming season, which kicks off June 27. The show’s creator, Doug Ellin, told EW.com that Diddy will appear as himself alongside “Entourage” executive producer Mark Wahlberg in an episode set to air in August. “Turtle [Jerry Ferrara] is starting a business, and he’s trying to get them to invest in it,” Ellin explained. “He’s going to a lot of people about this investment.” Diddy tweeted the news on Thursday and included a link to a story posted on AOL’s TheBoombox.com . Rocker Lenny Kravitz will also make a cameo in the star-packed episode. “Ari’s trying to trade favors,” Ellin revealed to EW.com of the plotline that finds Jeremy Piven’s hard-driving agent wheeling and dealing as usual. “He’s got to get Lenny to do a movie so someone else will do something for him.” Diddy won’t be the first hip-hop artist to show up on “Entourage”: Bow Wow played an up-and-coming comedian, 50 Cent taunted Turtle in a guest spot as a cocky driver and Snoop also did his thing on the HBO hit; the West Coast MC played himself. Wahlberg recently told MTV News the new season could be the setup for a much buzzed-about “Entourage” movie. “I am more focused on making that movie than my own films,” Wahlberg said. “I just think we can make a great movie. I think people always wanted [it] and have complained that the episodes are too short — they’ve always wanted more. I think we’re going to do it,” he said. “We just have to end strong, and this season is, by far, the best season so far.” Both Diddy and Kravitz have been making power moves in Hollywood. Kravitz gave a touching portrayal as a male nurse in the Oscar-winning drama “Precious” , and Diddy’s scene-stealing turn in this month’s “Get Him to the Greek” won raves from co-star Jonah Hill. Tom Felton And Mark Wahlberg Are ‘Tight’ After MTV Movie Awards

Wahlberg apologizes to ‘Harry Potter’ star backstage after interrupting his acceptance speech. By Kara Warner Tom Felton Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage Between the random kisses, show-stopping performances and surprise appearances, Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards were full of wild and crazy moments. Chief among them was the presentation of the Best Villain award, which Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes and Dwayne Johnson were supposed to present. They were soon interrupted by “The Other Guys” stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, swinging from the rafters on wires after what they said was a failed attempt to drop in on the presenters. While the failed pranksters were left to hang around, “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton took the stage to make a sweet-natured acceptance speech that Wahlberg and Ferrell unceremoniously heckled. After the win Felton, being the good-natured Brit that he is, took it all in stride and told MTV News that despite the awkward chastising from Wahlberg, the win was “the most surreal moment of my life,” he said. “I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell hanging above my head on a wire. So, yeah, I can’t know what to make of that.” Wahlberg then suddenly came up behind Felton during the interview and apologized. “We were only kidding,” he said, and patted Felton on the back. “Sorry about that, great job. … Thanks for being a good sport.” Wahlberg’s classy make-nice move left Felton a little giddy. “You’ve got that on camera, yeah? Evidence! We’re tight now!” he joked. “We’re thinking about [a rap album]. We got some TV shows we’re thinking about. He wants me to be on ‘Entourage.’ I said I’m not too sure about it. We’re tight. [Laughs.] I can’t believe it. Amazing!” Felton took to his Twitter feed to announce “a big thank you to mark wahlberg for co-writing my acceptance speech, we got together a couple of days ago and wrote that little skit.” Then later clarified that he was joking, and that he was “a bit stumped by the situation but did my best.” Felton’s fans were ecstatic about his win, briefly making the subject a Twitter trending topic at one point in the evening. Tracy, a commenter on the fansite Feltbeats summed up their collective enthusiasm with the following: “It’s about time someone from [‘Harry Potter’] won an award! I’m tired of these great films being ignored, especially when Tom [Felton] and others have worked so hard. I’m especially pleased for Tom because he is such a nice, polite, kind and caring young man and he richly deserves this award. You guys are great!!!” Relive the wildest, funniest and most-jaw-dropping moments of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, watch revealing red-carpet interviews and get exclusive movie clips after the show at MovieAwards.MTV.com . Tom Felton Calls MTV Movie Awards Win ‘The Most Surreal Moment’

‘I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell hanging above my head on a wire,’ the ‘Harry Potter’ star marvels to MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Tom Felton Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images On Sunday night (June 6) at the MTV Movie Awards , “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton beat out some tough competition to win Best Villain for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy. And, moments after winning and having a memorable moment with “Other Guys” co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, Felton admitted he couldn’t believe he came out on top. “Very exciting! The most surreal moment of my life,” he told MTV News. “I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell hanging above my head on a wire. So, yeah, I can’t know what to make of that.” Did he think he deserved to win? “I would definitely say no! Against Christoph Waltz and Helena Bonham Carter? Not really fair competition. I thought I was well out of the works. Thanks to the fans for voting. I really appreciate it.” Then, out of nowhere, came Wahlberg, who told the “Harry Potter” star he did a great job. And the encounter left Felton quite star-struck. “You’ve got that on camera, yeah? Evidence we’re tight now!” he joked. “We’re thinking about [a rap album]. We got some TV shows we’re thinking about. He wants me to be on ‘Entourage.’ I said I’m not too sure about it. We’re tight. [ Laughs. ] I can’t believe it. Amazing!” Earlier in the night, Felton dished to MTV News on the Movie Awards red carpet that his real-life lady love, “Potter” stunt assistant Jade Olivia, would have a cameo in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” “This is an exclusive for you — she is, yes,” Felton said. “The producers came to me about six months ago, and I said, ‘OK, I’ll ask her.’ She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it. She was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross [railway station in the U.K.]; we were very excited.” Relive the wildest, funniest and most-jaw-dropping moments of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, watch revealing red-carpet interviews and get exclusive movie clips after the show at MovieAwards.MTV.com .
