Jay-Z Joins Chicken Venture After Dropping ‘H.A.M.’

Chandler Jay-Z (file) Photo: Eugene Gologursky/ WireImage After amassing a huge fortune last year via record sales, book sales and several key investments, rap and entertainment mogul Jay-Z is winging it — literally. Just as his “H.A.M.” collaboration with Kanye West was dropping on Facebook, news broke that the 41-year-old Brookynite has invested in the Brooklyn-based chicken wing restaurant Buffalo Boss, teaming up with his mother, Gloria, and sister, Andrea in the new venture. Keeping things within the family, the fast food joint is currently co-owned by the rapper’s cousin Jamar White. “Yes, it’s all true,” White told MTV News confirming the news. “Jay supports us in all we do, that’s my big cousin right there.” The eatery does more than dole out saucy wings, fries, salads and soft drinks. According to TMZ , Jay-Z and Buffalo Boss recently teamed up to reward exceptional students at a nearby middle school with free eats. (However, a glance at the Buffalo Boss menu doesn’t exactly bode well for children and adults looking for healthy options.) The news that Jigga is investing in a chicken restaurant will come as a mild surprise to some fans as the rapper revealed to Oprah in 2009 that he doesn’t eat much in the way of the largely affordable meat as it reminded him of his former poverty. “We ate a lot of chicken, you know, because chicken’s cheap,” he said. “We had so much chicken — chicken backs, chicken everything … to this day, I can only eat small pieces or else I feel funny.” Related Photos Kanye West And Jay-Z: History In The Making Related Artists Jay-Z

Lily Collins Talks Taylor Lautner’s ‘Abduction’ Abs, ‘Twilight’ Fans

By Eric Ditzian Lily Collins Photo: John Shearer/ WireImage When it comes to his upcoming thriller, “Abduction,” Taylor Lautner has spoken enthusiastically about the intense training he endured — including boxing and motorcycle riding — and his excitement for what he terms the film’s “amazing” story. All good stuff, no doubt, but what many of you really want to know about his first major role outside the “Twilight” franchise is one thing: Just how much shirt-free, ab-proud time is the 18-year-old going to have onscreen? Hate to dash dreams, but — despite those tantalizing set pics that popped up on the Web last summer — the answer is: not much at all. “It’s not about that!” co-star Lily Collins laughed in a recent interview. “It’s about his acting skills in this one. I feel everyone is going to be surprised to see how much he’s grown. This movie is not about that aspect of him. It’s very, very, very minimal. He brings so much more than that. I feel people are going to be blown away.” Collins — who MTV News tapped as one of our 11 for ’11 and who, like Lautner, is about take on a wildly popular book franchise as the star of the “Mortal Instruments” series — told us she learned a ton from watching how the “Twilight” star interacted with his fans during the “Abduction” shoot. “I would watch the way he deals with his fans. It’s incredible,” she told us. “We’d be shooting at nights where we finish at 7 in the morning, and one night, we had 600 fans in the middle of nowhere in Pittsburgh waiting outside, and it was probably almost 5 in the morning, and he went out and signed every single autograph. The beachfront Orange Country home of Jesse James is now for sale for an amount of $6,750,000. The house is newly remodeled which has four bedroom pad, where James and Sandra Bullock had shared during their marriage for almost five years. It has also been the home of his children Sunny, Jesse and Chandler. The motorcycle king is selling his home for the reason that he wants to have more privacy. His daughter Sunny is also affected by the situation. She even asks if paparazzi will be waiting outside the house when she is about to go to school.
