Scott Pilgrim vs. the World co-star Mae Whitman — who you might remember as Ann from Arrested Development — is in final negotiations to join The Perks of Being a Wallflower , the angsty Stephen Chbosky novel that John Malkovich’s production company Mr. Mudd is adapting for the big screen.
