Justin Bieber ‘Too Humble’ To Give The Wanted Advice

U.K. boy band wrapped their first-ever U.S. tour Wednesday night in L.A. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Getty Images The Wanted landed on U.S. shores last month for their first-ever tour here in America, and what ensued was Beatlemania-like fandom. On Wednesday night, the U.K. boy band wrapped up the trek in L.A., and fans (including the Beckham family) came out in full force when they took the stage at the El Rey. The five Brits couldn’t believe the enthusiasm felt by the crowd, tweeting that the excitement for them was “unbelievable.” Even though the tour is over, the interest in the guys has hardly waned. Their song “Glad You Came” (from their 2011 album Battleground ) will be featured on “Glee” this season and continues to climb the charts and gain radio play. The guys are prepared for all the attention: Touring with Justin Bieber has shown them what it’s like to become an international pop sensation. So what kind of advice has the Biebs given them? “I think he’s too humble for that, in that way. … He’s not someone that really gives advice, because I think he just appreciates what happens to him rather than thinks he’s God,” Max George told MTV News. “And so, I mean, we don’t really talk music. When we speak to him, it’s more we talk about football or basketball.” Bandmate Jay McGuiness added: “I think he knows that we know how to do what we want to do in the same way that we could never tell him how to do what he does, ’cause he does it a lot better than we ever could.” The Wanted will head back home to their native U.K. to kick off an arena tour that will run through March. They are also up for Best British Single at the Brit Awards this month for “Glad.” Have you been following the Wanted’s burgeoning career? Let us know in the comments! The Wanted Get ‘Glee’ Love

British boy band’s Battleground single, ‘Glad You Came,’ will be featured on this season of the hit Fox show. By Jocelyn Vena The Wanted Photo: MTV News The Wanted are currently taking their fist-pumping boy band antics across America, and it seems that whatever they are doing is working. The guys just confirmed that their Battleground single, “Glad You Came,” will appear on “Glee” this season. The guys made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (February 6). The song originally appeared on their 2011 album and is now getting some love Stateside. It’s already hit back in their native U.K., having topped the charts there for several weeks last year. And, all the U.S. attention is certainly a coup for the band. “The American fans are so optimistic, very intense,” bandmate Max George told MTV News about all the U.S. attention. “They’re just really enthusiastic. I get a massive buzz off American people. I think it’s really refreshing.” While their fans back home have already scooped up Battleground, fellow Wanted singer Jay McGuiness explained that they hope their music comes before their image — though they may have plenty of tween girls screaming their names. “I think when we first started we were just trying to create the best pop album we could because we knew that’s what everyone wanted to hear,” he said of their 2010 album debut. “And then the second time around you find you want to be a lot more creative, you want to put on personal things and the writing on the first album was fun and the writing on the second album was really personal. “And that means every time we do a live gig and people are singing it back [and] it makes everything electric,” he continued. “And I think nowadays boy bands can be part of that, where the music is as key as people find them attractive and we know that boy bands often had shelf lives because the image came before the music. And we’re trying to be the other way around. So far it’s working because we like singing and people like listening to us.” The band — which also includes Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes — is here promoting Battleground. Their U.S. tour will wrap up on Wednesday in Los Angeles before they kick off an arena tour on February 15 in their native England. Are you excited for the “Glee” cast to perform “Glad You Came”? New Angelina Butt Shots from Wanted

Right now, everyone is talking about Angelina Jolie’ s Golden-Globe nominated performance in the spy thriller The Tourist , but that movie’s distinct lack of nudity has kept Mr. Skin out of the conversation. In fact, the once nudesworthy Angelina may have slipped off our radar skin altogether. But luckily for her, someone has just leaked a production still of her bare butt from 2008’s Wanted . It’s a great shot of the junk in Ms. Jolie’s trunk surrounded by faux tattoos and glistening with moisture. Just imaging how much candlewax and how many Asian supermodels have been on that thing! It boggles the mind. Thanks, Angelina, for giving us what we wanted for Christmas.

Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds Reunite For ‘Most Wanted’

The ‘Proposal’ co-stars will reteam with the movie’s screenwriter, director and producers for new action comedy. By Josh Wigler Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds Photo: Michael Caulfield/ Getty Images After Sandra Bullock shared a titillating kiss with “Proposal” co-star Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Scarlett Johansson, at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, the two will reteam for “Most Wanted,” a new action comedy from Universal Pictures. Based on a pitch from “Proposal” screenwriter Pete Chiarelli, “Most Wanted” tells the story of a criminal suspect (Bullock) who is apprehended and escorted to a court hearing by an FBI agent (Reynolds). On their way to court, the two are attacked in an ambush and are ultimately forced to go on the run. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Most Wanted” will strike a similar tone to “Midnight Run,” Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin’s 1988 comedy about a bounty hunter (De Niro) tasked with hunting down a mob accountant (Grodin). In addition to Bullock, Reynolds and Chiarelli, other members from the “Proposal” creative team joining up for “Most Wanted” include director Anne Fletcher and producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Reynolds is also executive-producing the movie alongside his Dark Trick Films partner Jonathan Komack-Martin. “Most Wanted” marks Bullock’s first major casting announcement since winning an Academy Award for “The Blind Side.” Reynolds, on the other hand, has been quite busy: The actor is currently shooting a role as cocky fighter pilot-turned-superhero Hal Jordan in director Martin Campbell’s “Green Lantern,” based on the DC Comics series of the same name. He’s also committed to “Deadpool,” 20th Century Fox’s spinoff of last year’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” and “R.I.P.D.,” based on the Dark Horse comics series about an undead police department. Additionally, Reynolds is slated to film “The Change-Up” alongside “Up in the Air” actor Jason Bateman.
