Famed designer Nicole Miller has teamed up with Indego Africa, a non-profit organization that partners with Rwandan weavers and seamstresses to sell their items to high-end retailers. The profits are then returned back and put into literary, business and computer skill classes for the women of Africa. The byproducts of the collaboration are beautiful! Michael Caine Says Batman 3 Shooting in April

Never trust Gary Oldman again . While on the press circuit for The Book of Eli in 2009, Commissioner Gordon told reporters that Christopher Nolan would begin shooting Batman 3 this year with an eye toward a 2011 release. Bzzzt! Not according to Michael Caine. The coolest actor alive — seriously, right guys? — told reporters at the London premiere of Inception that Nolan was planning to shoot his sequel to The Dark Knight in April. Take that with the giant grain of salt it deserves, but hey — an April shoot could mean the finished product will be hit theaters just in time for the superhero apocalypse in the summer of 2012. So You Think You Can Dance Result: So Long, Alex Wong

We had a feeling Alex Wong’s prognosis was grim after that ACL injury he suffered in rehearsals, and when he didn’t dance with the rest of the contestants at the top of the results show, our suspicions were confirmed: He’s far too injured to continue competing on So You Think You Can Dance . Jesus, God, why? He was going to win this damn thing following a final match-up with Billy Bell, who would’ve pulled out all the stops and danced as 14 different cats (from tabby to tiger) in 60 seconds. Since that final duel is now impossible, let’s revisit Alex Wong’s best routine of the season and weep to our loved ones about his exquisite lines, touching commitment, and that time the wardrobe department made him wear a FUBU costume.

Some of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette cast members from seasons past are ready to compete for fame and money on TV – only out in the open this time! Looking for love on a dating show. Vying for $250,000 on a reality TV competition. It was only a matter of time until someone combined these concepts. ABC’s The Bachelor / The Bachelorette series Bachelor Pad brings together a group of heavyweights to compete in team and individual challenges for money. Calling them “All-Stars” may be a bit of a stretch, seeing how early some were eliminated by their season’s star. Then again, the whole thing is a stretch. Memorable faces rejected by Jake Pavelka, Jillian Harris and Ali Fedotowsky just this year will be leading the way, with a handful of peeps from past years too. A new man for Kate Gosselin … may be pursued. Someday. There is no actual news here, despite what the splashy cover of the magazine below tries to imply. Note how OK! shrewdly does not name said man, or state that Kate is even dating someone. Because she’s not. Talk about misleading … true, but misleading! It’s been a year since she split with Jon, though, so time to start up the Kate Gosselin dating rumors, even if she says she’s still healing and doesn’t have time. That doesn’t sell magazines, though, so they give us vague reports about how the 35-year-old is “changing her controlling ways” and ” ready for romance again.” We’ll believe the former when we see it. Only in theory, of course . “Kate knows she can be a little controlling at times, and she’s working on that aspect of her character,” a source tells OK!. Right . Sure she is. Jon Gosselin is supposedly working on his wardrobe and penchant for lies and mediocre girls, too. Yesterday, we reported how a new Kate Gosselin dating show may be in the works. Even that we can’t really see, despite the fact that she’s a ratings goldmine. The magazine also says Kate’s getting support from none other than Jon in her quest to move on. Another claim you could never refute with fact. Pure genius.

Rielle Hunter to Sit Down with Oprah

Rielle Hunter’s 15 minutes of fame are going for some kind of record. Her story will simply never die, with Oprah Winfrey the latest to help her milk it. She’s shown John Edwards a big o-face. Now she’s coming face-to-face with the Big O. It was revealed last night that Oprah scored the first TV interview with John Edwards’ weird mistress, a report confirmed Tuesday by the Big O’s production company. The date for the interview has not yet been announced, nor has her wardrobe for the sit-down. We’re hoping for that pearl necklace from those hot GQ pictures again. She’s a classy one, that Rielle. Rielle Hunter and Oprah: An interview not to be missed. For whatever reason, Rielle Hunter was apparently courted by both Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer as well, but ultimately went with Oprah, reportedly because she felt O “was more spiritual and would get her.” She’s a spiritual one, that Rielle. It’s unclear whether she will discuss the details of the John Edwards sex tape, how she slept with a famous married politician and pulled the goalie to cash in, whether he provided her with campaign hush money, or what her future holds. Regardless, we’re waiting for Elizabeth Edwards to kill her .
