View this post on Instagram #visitTrinidad A post shared by Kendra Robinson-Esq (@attorneykendrarobinson) on Feb 25, 2019 at 10:56am PST If you’ve been watching Love & Hip-Hop this season then you know that Yung Joc has been dealing with the drama of having his bae around all the insanity of the show, the cast and exes. She’s been having to calm Joc down from his drunkenness and had to almost get in a fight with Karlie Redd. But what exactly do we know about her? The good folks at VH1 have some info on her that we are happy to finally know and share. She’s not just some anybody Joc picked up off the streets. She got her law degree in 2013. She’s a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. They’ve been apparently dating since 2016 and she is pretty much stepmom status to the kids. A Lil Positivity: Michael B. Jordan Presents The Central Park Five With Inaugural Roger Baldwin Courage Award

Source: John Lamparski / Getty The Central Park Five Receive The Roger Baldwin Courage Award Michael B. Jordan praised The Central Park Five — Yusef Salaam, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana, and Korey Wise — for their perseverance and courage during a luncheon in which the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California honored Netflix’s series about their case. The actor told the men on Friday that he cannot watch footage of the new series When They See Us without getting emotional and feeling like as a young black man he too could have faced a similar ordeal. “It’s dangerous in America when you’re living in a black body,” Jordan said. “The whole time that these men were incarcerated, they never changed their story. They insisted of their innocence even as they did their time.” Yusef Salaam shed a couple tears as he accepted an award on behalf of the series creator, Ava DuVernay. “I’m not ashamed to cry in front of you,” Salaam said after a moment of silence as he reflected on the fact that he and the other men were “just boys” when they were wrongfully convicted. “Our story is a story of an egregious miscarriage of justice.” Salaam and the rest of the Central Park Five were exonerated back in 2002 after being charged with the 1989 rape of a woman in New York’s Central Park. They received a standing ovation as they accepted the ACLU chapter’s inaugural Roger Baldwin Courage Award; Baldwin was one of the ACLU’s founders and its first executive director. Though this story and the outrage surrounding it is anything but new, DuVernay’s series has re-ignited a public outcry over how the case was handled. Shortly before the men accepted their award, Linda Fairstein–the Manhattan sex crimes prosecutor who observed the teenagers’ interrogation–was dropped by her book publisher in the face of the increasing criticism.

Audrey Roloff Gets Dragged for Allegedly Endangering Her Daughter

For the 3,679th time, it must be said: People on the Internet can really suck. The latest evident of this unfortunate fact can be traced back to a photo Audrey Roloff shared on Instagram this week. The former Little People, Big World star – who walked away from that TLC series along with her husband last summer – loves nothing more than to post cute photos of her daughter, Ember. On Monday, this is exactly what Audrey thought she was doing when she put up the snapshot below. As you’re about to see, it features little Ember behind the wheel of a tractor on Roloff Farms, the sun setting in the background, a smile plastered on the toddler’s face. “The Farmer’s daughter. Oh hey June in Helvetia. You can find us here all summer long,” wrote Roloff as a caption, adding: “Riding mules, chasing chickens, picking wildflowers, covered in berry stains and freckles, and watching sunsets by the embers. On repeat.” Despite this being pretty much what social media ought to be made for (adorable pictures of young kids having fun), Audrey has been somewhat roasted by a bunch of judgmental followers. Can you guess why? Probably not, right? It’s actually because Ember is… sitting behind the wheel of a tractor. “Get her away from there right this instant, r u nuts?!?” wrote one annoyed user. Added another: “You’re just asking for a dangerous accident there. #thinktwicemama.” And then a third: “Shame on U, Audrey. What if she fell and got run over?” Crazy, right? That total strangers would take a mother to task for this? But it’s actually happened before… to the Roloffs, no less! In July 2018, Tori had to clap back against parent-shamers who had a similar reaction to a photo of her son also riding a large vehicle. And, look, we don’t want to jump on too high of a horse here, but: WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!? These kids are obviously safe and none of this is any of your business. Can you please stop giving her crap for photos such as the one above and also the one here ? It’s possible that you aren’t the biggest fan of Audrey Roloff. You may think she’s too self-righteous and you may think, as The Hollywood Gossip has often said, that Audrey exploits her religion at times to make money . But even the absolute harshest critic has to be honest about something. He or she absolutely has to admit the following: Audrey loves her daughter and would never do anything to hurt her. Shame on you for ever thinking or implying otherwise. View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: 19 Moments We’ll Never, Ever Forget

Stop The Violence: Kid Gives Tearful Plea After 13-Year-Old Friend Malik Tyler Is Killed In Dallas Crossfire [Video]

Source: Getty Kid Pleads Dallas To Stop The Violence After 13-Year-Old Malik Tyler Is Killed In Crossfire Senseless violence caused the death of a 13-year-old in Dallas and now video capturing the family’s grievance is packing a heartbreaking punch. According to Dallas News , middle schooler Malik Tyler was killed on Tuesday evening as he and two friends left a gas station in the 9400 block of Bruton Road, at North St. Augustine Drive. Tyler was only an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a moving vehicle shooting at another car. On Wednesday, officers said they arrested Datrail Deon Clayton, 21, as a suspect and he now faces a murder charge in the shooting. The corner where Tyler was shot has been problematic for years, making local residents and employees frustrated for the narcotic sales and gang violence that plagues the intersection. At a vigil on Wednesday, residents called for the city to shut down both the convenience store that adjoined the gas station and a car wash next door in honor of Tyler. “Do it for the kids,” someone said. Tyler’s vigil raised a lot of awareness to the surging violence in Dallas recently. According to Dallas News , last month alone had 41 homicides, the city’s highest monthly tally since the 1990s. Tyler’s mom, Tina Tyler, expressed her pain: “I don’t know what to say. Someone took my son from me.” A major heartbreaking moment occurred at the vigil when Malik’s friend MaQuesta Martin Jr. made a plea to stop the violence in the community. While remembering Malik, MaQuesta tearfully explained: “When I wanted to run away, he was there with me. When I was feeling down he was there with me. So pray for his family.” He continued: “I just want to say I love everybody. Can y’all just shut it down? Please stop the violence. There’s too many people getting hurt in Dallas. Just stop it. Love each other. Please!” Tyler’s mom added to the call for action, saying: “I hope that this goes nationwide, worldwide…that we do something to help our Black kids in this community. Because gun violence. Look at what happened. My son died here yesterday. This has been a great loss to my family. That was my youngest son.” You can watch Tina Tyler and MaQuesta’s emotional words below, and we hope that they reached all the right people.

After Getting Death Threats, Nicole Curran Spoke Out To Explain What Really Happened In That Courtside Beyoncé Video

Excerpt from:

Source: Ezra Shaw/Getty Images / Photo by Ezra Shaw/Getty Images Of course, the messy wagon took the clip and ran with it, assuming that Bey’s vexation was a result of Curran being a bit too friendly with her husband; however, it was quite obvious that the singer’s discomfort had less to do with what Curran was saying and was likely a result of her failure to respect people’s personal boundaries and space (Footage from the game showed Bey looking uncomfortable as Curran touched her hair as well). Curran has since come forward to provide context behind the infamous clip. According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Bey and Jay were invited by Curran and she was simply asking them if they wanted a drink when the cameras began rolling. “Curran says Jay Z asked for a vodka soda. She asked if he wanted lime with that. But it was loud in Oracle and she couldn’t hear, so she leaned over. That’s where the photos of Beyoncé looking askance at her come from,” Shelburne explained in a tweet . Curran, who has since disabled her social media accounts due to angry Bey Hivers congregating in her comments and DMs, insists that there was no tension whatsoever between her and the “Don’t Hurt Yourself” singer. “There was no hostility. I was trying to be a good hostess,” said Curran, who had reportedly been receiving death threats. “I’ve never experienced cyberbullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.“ Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Close Thank you for subscribing! Please be sure to open and click your first newsletter so we can confirm your subscription. Email Submit Bey’s longtime publicist Yvette Noel-Schure has also since weighed in on the fiasco. “I am looking back today at the start of The OTRII tour, one year ago. It was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love. Every single day on that tour I saw love,” Noel-Schure captioned a photo. “Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE. I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name. We love you. ” [ione_media_gallery src=”https://rickeysmileymorningshow.com” id=”2006463″ overlay=”true”] This post was originally published on madamenoire.com . Bruh: Georgia Inmate Escapes Courthouse In Handcuffs, Found Hours Later Hiding Under A House [Video]

Georgia Inmate Flees Courthouse You have to be pretty bold to try and escape while you’re in the custody of Georgia State Deputies. One Decatur man was clearly about that life, or just afraid ago to prison, when he escaped from a group of Benton County inmates who were being processed for court on Monday. 28-year old Diego Jose Zayas-Martinez was originally charged with terroristic threatening and criminal mischief for threatening to kill a man in 2018. But after fleeing from deputies on foot earlier this week, Martinez’s new charges include first-degree escape and criminal trespass. According to reports , deputies chased a handcuffed Martinez through the courthouse parking lot for several minutes before they found him hiding under a house on Central Avenue. He is now being held at the Benton County Jail on a $550,000 bond with his hearing set for July 15 in Benton County Circuit Court. SMH.
