Lady Gaga has maintained a rather stoic poker face ever since ending her engagement to Christian Carino . The singer broke up with her fiance about a month ago, but has not said a word about the split in public and has not revealed the reason why she never made it down the aisle with Carino. We may now have the answer, however. According to the new issue of Us Weekly, there was no cheating on either side. There was nothing especially salacious or sordid at all, in fact. Simply put, an insider tells this tabloid: “ Chris didn’t treat Gaga very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship.” This same source says that the artist there “really leaned on” actor and close friend Jeremy Renner “in the weeks after it ended,” although this relationship never turned romantic. A second source also spoke to Us Weekly and confirmed that “Gaga was the one who broke things off” with the talent agent. “He was jealous,” this insider explains. “He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot. Her friends didn’t like him either.” Sounds sort of like most of our relationships in high school, you know?!? Gaga has been spending a ton of time ever since this break-up with Renner, sparking the aforementioned rumors of a romance between these superstars. As we’re sure you’re also aware, Gaga has also been linked to Bradley Cooper, her co-star in the wildly overrated film A Star is Born. Many people out there simply can’t comprehend the chemistry between Cooper and Gaga unless the two have been boning ever since they shot this terrible movie. The chatter over Cooper and Gaga only grew more intense after they performed the smash hit single “Shallow” on stage at the 2019 Academy Awards. There’s no way these two could look at each other that way without being in love, right?!? Wrong, Cooper and Gaga have insited. “They both find the relationship rumors funny,” Hollywood Life previously wrote, adding: “Both Gaga and Bradley Cooper find it sweet and laughable at the same time that fans are saying they will get married someday, especially since Gaga announced the end of her engagement this week.” Truth is, all this talk is really just a compliment to Gaga’s acting skills, which were the only positive takeaway from A Star is Born. Seriously, the should have been a Lifetime Movie of the Week. It was so lame and cliche-filled and predictable. But anyway: Shallow is a great song! Kelly’s former hair stylist, Lanita Carter, who was once an anonymous accuser, revealed her identity today on “CBS This Morning.” Text “RICKEY”to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news . ( Terms and conditions ). In her sit down interview, Carter spoke about the sexual assault she experienced at the hands of Kelly in 2003, when she was 24-years-old. Carter said she had been working as Kelly’s braider for a year and even defended him in 2002, when he was arrested on child pornography charges. Carter described Kelly with two words: “Perfect gentleman.” “I would tell people, ‘Pray for him. I do his hair. He is nothing like what they say.’ On, February 18, 2003, Carter alleged that Kelly called her in to braid his hair. Later, he asked her to massage his head. She told him she didn’t do massages, “I laughed it off. I didn’t know he was for real. If I could change that day, I wouldn’t have been there.” Kelly allegedly yanked her head down by her braid and demanded that he perform oral sex on her. Carter said Kelly repeatedly told her, “Suck it for Daddy.” Carter tried to shield herself from his body with her hand, pulling away from him. Email Submit Carter said the only thing that made him stop was someone knocking on the door. “He didn’t open the door right away. He says, ‘Fix your face. Fix your muthaf*cking face.’ I knew that’ll be my last day there.” Carter went to the bathroom and started questioning herself. “I get to the bathroom and I grab the wall and it was a rose colored towel. I wipe my face. I’m not dressed no type of way. I look at myself in the mirror, I’m not a beauty queen. I didn’t perceive myself to be more than just his hair braider. And I just kept thinking to myself, why did this happen to me.” Carter called authorities the same day to report the incident. SEE ALSO: R. Semen.” For whatever reason, charges were not filed against Kelly in 2003. Carter offered her theory about the reason why this might have been so. “Celebrities are powerful. Celebrities have support systems. I have no support system outside of my immediate family.” Six months later, Carter signed a $650,000 settlement where Kelly denied any wrong doing and Carter agreed to keep quiet. In 2009, R. Kelly released, “Hair Braider” a song about having sex with the woman who braids his hair. Carter said there were references to her in the lyrics and music video. Kelly sings, “Zig zag braids, got em looking like spaghetti.” Carter said, “That was one of the hair styles that I was known for doing. We were on the L shaped couch when the incident happened.” The song led to another confidential settlement, this one for $100,000. In documents, Kelly denies any wrong doing but agreed never to perform it again or include it on any of his future albums. After the documentary, Cook County State Attorney Kimberly Foxx asked that victims of Kelly come forward and share their stories. Carter said, “I would be going on with my day, you turn on the news, here’s another R. Kelly victim. Another R. Kelly victim. Another R. Kelly victim. You just want to be there for them.” Carter said that interestingly enough, Kelly’s interview with Gayle King that inspired her to come forward and tell her story publicly. “I know that I love myself today. I know that I don’t care what anybody say about me. This is a release. I been carrying this since 2003. I don’t want to be in the public but this is my life. The Duggars were showing their wild side on the most recent episode of Counting On season 9. Kendra and Joe Duggar catch some rays in Panama Beach, Florida, Jackson begins to drive at the age of 14 and John and Abbie don’t surprise anyone by going on a mission trip to the Philippines. But first let’s dive on over to Panama City, which is one of the most popular and crazy beach vacation spots in America. What sounds more fun than a spring break trip with Kendra and her entire family and Joe Duggar?! I can think of probably anything else… The entire Caldwell clan packed up their sunscreen, modest swimsuits, and an obnoxious amount of beach gear into their van before beginning their voyage to the sea! Once arriving in the sunny state, the family immediately hit the beach and began their fun-filled day by eating lunch, out of sand buckets. We can only imagine the laughs and stares coming from the surrounding spring breakers as they all had to view a large family sitting in a circle eating snacks out of buckets, while the girls show off their bathing suit skirts. But yet, we too are actually watching them do this. Once they finished eating who knows what from the sandy buckets, Kendra’s dad attempts to bring some PG fun onto the beach by having a sandcastle-building contest. Yes we’re sighing and secretly wishing Kendra and Joe would sneak off and go shotgun a beer with a fraternity bro, but instead, we will patiently watch to see which family member can build the best and tallest structure made from sand. Which we know that drunken frat bro will probably be sleeping face-first in tonight. After a long day of sand-castles, burying Joe in the sand, and hearing Kendra call her parents “mommy” and “daddy”, I think we can all agree that it is time to move on over to Texas to see what Jeremy and Jinger are up to. The small little family is getting ready to fly out to New Jersey to pay Jeremy’s family a visit! Jeremy explains that traveling with baby Felicity is much more challenging than traveling as a party of two, however, when the producer jokingly asks about traveling 19-kids-deep, he shuts up real quick. We’re then rewarded with old family video clips where we learn that the family once had a Home Alone moment IRL. The Duggars once lost baby Jackson at an airport, and while everyone laughs, let me remind you he was a BABY and not an 8-year-old Kevin McCallister. Nice going, Duggars. Once the Vuolos arrived at Jeremy’s grandparent’s house, it was time to introduce them to Felicity. And his grandmother nearly fainted upon meeting her adorable great-granddaughter. The feeling was mutual as baby Felicity was also smiling hard at her family member who was not called a Duggar. It’s not everyday Felicity gets attention like that from grandparents, I mean, Jim-Bob and Michelle get a new grand-kid every 6-months, so this special moment was just way too precious. Keeping on board with the traveling theme of the episode, John-David and Abbie also increased their frequent flier miles as they headed to the Philippines for a mission trip! A producer calls out the couple asking why anyone would go on an international trip two weeks before their wedding? John explains that this mission trip, however, is responsible for their relationship. And it was also booked a long time ago and is probably non-refundable. John and Abbie explain that John was looking to bring some nurses on the trip and well, Abbie had been dying for a nursing experience abroad. Thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle teaming up with Abbie’s parents, they had arranged for her to be one of the nurses. And once she got a look at good ole’ John, the two found love at first sight and about a week later John proposed to Abbie in an airport hanger. Once the happy couple arrived in the Philippines, Abbie could not contain her excitement to be back in her nursing element. When producers asked if she would ever go back to nursing once she’s done with being a Duggar baby-making machine, she said yes. She also shocked viewers by saying John would totally support her when she is ready to go back to work. John then shows the cameras the village they are “medical missioning” at and explains that he and the other non-nurses will be “sharing the gospel” to the non-interested enthusiastic villagers. Heading back to Arkansas, USA, a few Duggar men are ready to take Jackson for a driving lesson. While Jackson is a literal pre-teen probably just hitting puberty at the age of 14, he is legally allowed to obtain a driving permit, as long as he has a willing adult passenger. “Most Duggars get their permits at 14,” said John. Jackson proudly told the producers he’s been practicing driving for about three years already and that he still has to use pillows to sit on so he can reach the steering wheel. Sister Jana, AKA Jackson’s real caretaker, is in disbelief that he is already at driving age. But ok, is he really? Jackson then heads to the police department to receive some driving safety tips from officers, which was almost as boring as the sand-castle competition. Jinger dishes to her friend Cara while in New Jersey that she thinks she wants to enjoy some down-time before having baby #2, which I’m sure threw both of her parents into a coma, especially knowing they now have to handle the family’s approaching move to Los Angeles . Once John and Abbie returned from their self-needed journey down in the Philippines, the couple shared that they see many more mission trips in their future as a married couple. It’s rare to see women of a certain age in a leading role like the lead character in Netflix’s Juanita. Alfre Woodard stars as the down home “ghetto” grandmother, who abandons her caretaker role to go on an life-defining adventure. She finds new love, has great sex and rediscovers what it is to put herself first. “Women tend to put themselves last. They put their needs behind their kids, their lovers, the co-workers or whoever it is,” Alfre Woodard explained during a candid conversation on our interview series “In This Room.” “We are made of strong stuff. And we always think ‘I can take it, I don’t know if he can take it’ I don’t know if she can take it, but I can take it.” But Alfre’s father offered her this piece of advice. “Just because you can don’t mean you need to!” If you haven’t watched Juanita yet, the seasoned and hunky Blair Underwood plays an interesting role and appears often in his underwear. According to Alfre, it was her husband’s idea (he wrote the screenplay) to use the handsome actor. “He said, I need a way in and I can’t quite find it. I hear him holler one day and he says ‘I got it. I got it. Juanita is low-woman on the totem pole. Working class, woman of color. Black woman. Everybody looks past her on the bus, everywhere. But every woman has a fantasy– Blair Underwood is her fantasy man. Along with classic horror movie chills, the layered story caused many discussions amongst viewers and it inspired some imaginative creatives. This should come as no surprise, considering the flick has already raked in $70 million across 3,741 North American locations, according to Variety. This makes Us have the largest weekend for an original horror movie, surpassing 2018’s A Quiet Place . It also has the biggest launch for an original R-rated movie, surpassing 2012’s Ted, and it has the second-best opening weekend of 2019 behind Captain Marvel, which took in $153 million. The movie’s director, Jordan Peele even had the nerve to trump his own record, considering his 2017 movie Get Out opened with $33 million compared to Us ‘ $70 mill. Along with money in the bank, the Internet can’t get enough of the folklore bought to life by Winston Duke, Evan Alex, Shadadi Wright Joseph and Lupita Nyong’o in an award-worthy performance. In addition to some hilarious Twitter reactions , creatives are taking the lead in promoting the movie with some fire posts. Dancer and Step Up: High Water star Kendra “K.O” Oyesanya (IG: @mizzk.o ) got things rolling in the dance world with an Us -inspired routine. This should come as no surprise since Oyesanya all but broke the Internet in 2018 with her viral Black Panther dance challenge . Disgraced former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel’s custody war with Kathryn Dennis continues. He is attempting to pressure the court to forbid Kathryn from discussing the custody battle — part of her life — on the show or on social media. Thomas says that he needs this gag order, or Kathryn could make it look like he’s a bad person. According to court documents obtained by The Blast , Thomas Ravenel is doubling down on his attacks on Bravo. “The worst mistake of my life was agreeing to be the star of the reality TV show ‘Southern Charm,'” Thomas claims in court. That is a wild claim. Notably, he was arrested and will stand trial for sexual assault . Thomas says “It amplified my past notoriety, showcased my wealth I accumulated through decades of hard work.” “And,” he claims. “Made me a walking target for men and women eager to get in front of the camera.” (Is that some Ashley Jacobs shade or are we reading too much into this?) “Most importantly,” Thomas says. “It caused embarrassment and pain to my parents, my sisters, and my children.” Thomas has accused Kathryn Dennis of using their children and custody battle for better ratings , and he is fighting that tooth and nail. “I do not believe Kathryn and Bravo should profit from this litigation,” Thomas insists. To that end, he wants the court to forbid her from addressing the custody battle in any way on Southern Charm or elsewhere. “And,” Thomas says, Kathryn shouldn’t profit “from the pain and suffering it has caused me and will inevitably cause our children,” “Sealing this case will do no good,” he warns. “If Bravo and Kathryn are allowed to discuss this litigation on TV or social media.” “Bravo and Kathryn will be at liberty to control the public narrative of this litigation,” Thomas fears. “And,” he warns, both his baby mama and former employer could “shape the story as it suits them.” He laments: “and my children will bear the shame of being fathered by a man the public believes is a monster, an abuser, and a narcissist.” The public already believes that, for a host of reasons. Kathryn’ isn’t mind-controlling the masses. Thomas’ behavior on and off camera made that impression all by itself. “Bravo IS NOT a news organization,” Thomas has written. Literally no one is claiming otherwise. If you see Luann de Lesseps do cabaret and think you’re watching 60 Minutes , please get help. “It does not publish truthful information pertaining to public discourse,” Thomas repeats himself. “And,” he claims. “It has zero interest in broadcasting truthful information about the minor children, this litigation, or Ravenel on ‘Southern Charm.’” “Bravo’s business is not the truth,” he emphasizes. They are a television network devoted to entertainment. “It profits,” he explains. “From the dramatization and fictionalization of crafted, non-scripted events that it airs to the public as ‘Reality TV.’” Dude, you just described literally all reality television.
