In today’s society, we need to own up to hurting, angering, or disrespecting someone else even if it was not the intention. Angelou is accomplished and deserves to be called whatever she pleases. For anyone taken aback by this legendary black woman, elderly black woman, educated black woman asserting her presence and brilliance to the youth and be it anyone else who is watching, you have a clear misunderstanding of where and how respect is derived. Angelou did not disrespect the young girl, humiliate her, or anything seemingly close to that. This moment, like any other moment with Ms. Angelou, is a teaching moment. The polarizing social media personality and former best friend of Kylie Jenner let followers know over the weekend that she is getting the heck out of the country in the very near future. The 21-year old posted to her Instagram Story on Friday to explain how and why. “What’s up guys?” the model could be heard in this video, as she walks towards her mother and some consulting agent named Sheeraz Hasan and then asks: “Mom, what are you guys talking about?” “Here’s the plan: London activation and I heard you live skydiving in Dubai so right now, me and mom are lining up Dubai,” Hasan says, adding: “It’s done, we’re arranging it right now.” Replies Woods: “I cannot wait, no, I need to skydive – soon.” She also revealed that she would be in London at the end of the month while she’ll be traveling to Dubai “soon,” as you can see below: We don’t know exactly when Woods departs, but we can easily guess why she’s so anxious to bust outta here. Jordyn, as you must know by now, admittedly made out with Tristan Thompson a few weeks ago. Back when she was very close to Khloe Kardashian. She sat down with long-time mentor Jada Pinkett Smith and confessed her sins on a Facebook Watch talk show. Explaining to Smith that she and Thompson remained in “plain sight” of the other party-goers the entire night they hung out at Thompson’s house, Jordyn admitted: They did swap some spit as she left the gathering. But that was it, she insisted. Tristan initiated it and they only really pecked. “It was like a kiss on the lips,” Jordyn said. “But no tongue kiss, no making out. Nothing.” Did they have sex? Lori Loughlin has been caught on camera admitting to the crime for which she just got arrested. Sort of, that is. In a newly-surfaced video from 2017, the controversial actress and her teenager daughter, Olivia Jade, are recording footage for the latter's YouTube channel. In a video titled “TEACHING MY MOM SLANG TERMS OF 2017,” Olivia, who was 17 at the time, tell the Full House star of the phrase, “England is my city,” something made famous when fellow YouTuber Nick Crompton sang these words in Jake Paul‘s “It’s Everyday Bro.”) “England is NOT a city,” Loughlin tells her ignorant child in response, to which Olivia replies: “I know, that’s why it’s so, so, so iconic on YouTube! … Well, it’s not iconic at all, it’s just really dumb.” This whole conversation is really dumb, but it's also about to become very telling. Loughlin, who was arrested this week for her role in a nationwide college bribery scandal , then says: “If you would’ve said, ‘England is my city,’ I would say, ‘Why did I pay all this money for your education?'” At this joke, he mother-daughter duo laugh and laugh and then laugh some more. But few people are guffawing over pretty much this exact same thing right now. Loughlin and her husband were each indicted by the FBI a few days ago because they allegedly paid a $500,000 bribe to pretend Olivia and her sister were high school crew team members. They were subsequently admitted to the University of Southern California because an employee there listed them as potential athletic recruits, thereby lowering their admissions standards. Loughlin and actress Felicity Huffman were the two best-known individuals involved in an arrested that netted dozens of wealthy parents, all of whom are accused of lying, cheating and bribing their kids' way into college. Olivia Jade has since left USC, at which she barely studied, while Loughlin has since lost multiple jobs , including her role as leading lady on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations,” Crown Media Family Networks said in a statement, adding: “We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.” Olivia, for her part, lost her brand deal with Sephora. “After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately,” a spokesperson for the beauty company has said. The youngster—who attends Windsor Castle’s St. George’s School—was given an intelligence assessment test earlier this year and earned an IQ score of 140 which led her to be accepted into the society. “It’s exciting and overwhelming. I want to make sure she achieves her potential and manages to perform to the best of her ability. She is so young but she lives and breathes academia. It was a scary realization when we got the results about how clever she is,” her mother told the news outlet. “I just want to make sure she reaches her full potential and is happy. That’s the main goal. Source: South_agency / Getty Woman Fakes Her Own Death To Avoid Breaking Up With Boyfriend A 37-year-old woman from Wuhan–in central China’s Hubei Province–was recently arrested after it was revealed that she had faked her own kidnapping and murder in order to avoid having to break up with her boyfriend. According to Oddity Central , the woman surnamed Yu, had been dating her boyfriend, Lin, for a while, but she only learned that he was poor after visiting his home during the Chinese New Year. Apparently, this was something she just couldn’t get over, so she decided to leave him–but fearing that he would refuse her rejection, Yu devised a plan to make herself completely disappear. Shortly after returning from the disappointing visit to Lin’s home town, Yu disappeared from the couple’s dormitory at the Huangpi Jiahai Industrial Park, and a few minutes later, she called her boyfriend to tell him that she had been kidnapped by her ex-husband. “Come and save me, my ex-husband has kidnapped me. Come quickly! I think I’m on the highway already,” she said before abruptly ending the call. To make her kidnapping seem more believable, Yu then sent her boyfriend several text messages pretending to be her kidnapper, warning him that she would be killed if he dared call the police. She proceeded to follow up with even more texts, informing Lin that she had been killed and her body had was thrown in a lake. Unable to negotiate with the “kidnapper”, Lin eventually called the police. Local police started investigating surveillance footage in Wuhan and were able to track down Yu to a small motel in the Tenglong district. But, when they arrived on the scene, officers were shocked to find the alleged victim casually lying on the bed, watching TV. When questioned by police about her kidnapping, the “surprisingly calm” woman told them that she had recently found out that her boyfriend was poor, and that she had faked her own kidnapping and murder, hoping that he would just “give up” and move on with his life. Yu added that she had initially planned to trick her boyfriend into leaving the dormitory so she could sneak back in, pack her things, and then disappear, but after realizing that Lin had the only key to the place, she devised the kidnapping plan instead. According to the Wuhan Evening News, Yu has been detained by police for 10 days for disrupting social order.

Since the second Avengers: Infinity War dropped in April of last year, Marvel fans were already asking a million questions about what’s going to happen in the sequel–and now, we are closer than we’ve ever been to finally seeing what happens to our favorite Avengers squad. Disney dropped the brand new Avengers: Endgame trailer on Thursday, which immediately caught fans by surprise. The short movie teaser shows our heroes–including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Captain Marvel and many more–trying to figure out how to move forward with their lives after Thanos destroyed half of their universe with one simple snap of his finger. The trailer starts with some ominous voiceover work from the one-and-only Tony Stark, who begins, “God, it seems like a thousand years ago I found my way out of that cave, became Iron Man, realized I loved you. I know I said no more surprises, but, I was really hoping to pull off one last one.” Here, he’s addressing who we can only assume is his soon-to-be-wife Pepper Potts. As the trailer continues, we see a lot of very nostalgic flashback moments for some of our favorite heroes like Ant Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, and more. The trailer itself is pretty melancholy, showing just how serious life and its stakes have gotten since Thanos’ decimations–but it’s not all bad news. At the end of the trailer, we get to see a brand new scene where Thor summons his hammer, which whizzes right past Captain Marvel’s head without causing a flinch. It is being reported the ridiculously popular Twitch streamer was paid $1 million to play EA’s new battle royale game Apex Legends. Who said playing video games doesn’t pay the bills? It was widely known that the EA enlisted the help of the video game streaming community to help get the word out about Apex Legends , but people still wondered exactly how much did the studio pay these individuals? A new Reuters report is claiming that EA backed up the Brinks truck for Ninja giving the Fortnite legend a $1 million to play and Tweet about the game on February 5th oh and reportedly he wasn’t obligated to for a long time either. While this seems a bit extreme to help promote a game an EA spokesperson told Kotaku that any gameplay after “midday” was “completely organic” if they kept playing the game. The amount of money he pulled in reportedly to play Apex is significantly higher than what he usually pulls in. Ninja revealed to CNN that he was pulling in $500,000 and hinting at bringing even more than that on a “good day.” Keep in mind that is split between his Twitch, YouTube streams, and sponsorships. There is no word on how much the other streamers were paid, but it would seem that EA’s efforts paid off as Apex broke Fortnite’s record for reaching 10 million players in 72 hours of its release.
