Obviously, his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, has been at center stage for the entirety of their 72-year marriage, but if you’ve ever watched The Crown , you know that Prince Philip is quite the badass in his own right. And in case you were unaware, homie flipped his Land Rover and walked away from the accident at age 97 today just to prove it to you. Yes, Philip was involved in a two-car accident near the Royal Family’s Sandringham Estate this afternoon. Amazingly, he was unharmed, despite the fact that the Land Rover he was driving was overturned in the wreck. The news was confirmed moments ago by Buckingham Palace officials. “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle on Thursday afternoon,” reads the official statement. “The Duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham Estate. Local police attended the scene.” A number of British gossip outlets are having a field day with the fact that Philip was breathalyzed after the accident. While that’s true, police were just following standard procedure, and Philip’s test turned up negative. (The other driver was also tested.) So Philip definitely was not drinking and driving, and while we’re certainly not advocating that sort of behavior, it would’ve been kind of cool if he’d been cruising around under the legal limit but with a Guinness in the cupholder. C’mon, he’s 97! Plus, it might have been good for the historically rocky relations between the Irish and the Brits. Philip is retired from public life these days, and there have been rumors that he’s struggling with health issues, particularly after he failed to join the Queen at Christmas Day church services. But now, it seems that Phil was just cruising around and getting his Rover up on two wheels like he’s on Top Gear or some such bollocks. We kid — but obviously there’s nothing funny about a 97-year-old monarch flipping his whip. Of course, that’s easy to say after you just spent 300 words joking around about it. But in all seriousness, this is only a laughing matter because no one was injured. We wish Philip many more years of terrorizing his fellow motorists in the English countryside.

Division agents, the worlds last hope after a deadly virus ravaged the world will continue the fight to save what’s left of mankind in follow up to the highly successful game The Division . The story trailer reveals the action has shifted from the streets of New York City to the nation’s capital Washington DC. With the virus crippling the world, the environment is ripe for the rise of ruthless factions, violent religious cults, and fascists to take down what’s left of the nation it’s up to the remaining Division agents to stop them. Fans eager to continue the story started in the first game will get a sample of the action when The Division 2’s private beta February 7-10. To partake in the event, you can either pre-order the game secure an invite or register here in hopes to join, but space is limited. Source: WENN.com / WENN Two years after the Ghostbusters franchise got a reboot with the all-female cast starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, it looks like Hollywood is once again giving the franchise another sequel set in the same universe as the 80’s original. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Jason Reitman (Juno, Tully) has been tapped to write and direct the untitled Ghostbusters sequel which will follow the events that happened in the OG Ghostbusters film that was directed by his father, Ivan Reitman. “I’ve always thought of myself as the first Ghostbusters fan, when I was a 6-year-old visiting the set. I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans,” Reitman says. “This is the next chapter in the original franchise. It is not a reboot. What happened in the ‘80s happened in the ‘80s, and this is set in the present day.” Sounds good to us. Though the 2016 reboot featured the likes of OG Ghostbusters Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, they obviously weren’t the same characters they were when they were hunting ghosts with proton packs and inverted traps. Not to mention fans weren’t too happy with the reboot featuring an all-female cast because, well, sexism. And though the 2016 version was actually pretty cool, Reitman doesn’t intend on connecting his project with the Paul Feig directed project. “I have so much respect for what Paul created with those brilliant actresses, and would love to see more stories from them. However, this new movie will follow the trajectory of the original film,” Reitman says. We ain’t mad at that. We just hope Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson suit up one last time in the film. R.I.P. Harold Ramis. Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters is slated for a summer 2020 release.

As Duggar fans (and viewers who love to hate-watch) have observed, Duggar courtships are getting shorter and shorter . Patriarch Jim Bob will do anything to keep his kids chaste until marriage, even if it means marrying them off sooner. The Duggars have another tool to keep their kids “pure” … a code word that they say under this bizarre circumstance. In their book, Growing Up Duggar , sisters Jana, Jessa, Jill, and Jinger reveal a lot about their controversial family. One of those long-forgotten, overlooked details is a code word that is used by the Duggar women in a specific situation. The secret code word is … … “Nike.” All jokes about the Duggars invoking the name of the winged goddess of victory aside, they are clearly referring to the brand of shoes. And no, it’s not out of support for the NFL’s Colin Kaepernick, although we can see Ben Seewald appreciating the irony. Why do they say it? Michelle and her daughters say “Nike” if they see a woman dressed by standards others than the Duggar dress code. Oh yes. The girls give this warning if they see a harlot with bare arms or wearing jeans or showing her unholy knees. Or, who knows. Maybe even their lower thighs. In response, the Duggar boys are required to look down at their feet so that they won’t see a normal human woman. It’s essentially the literal exact opposite of pointing out a hottie to your friend when you’re walking around town. We’ll hand it to them on one key point at least: “Nike” is a pretty subtle way of telling the guys to stare at the ground. To outsiders, it would just appear as if the guys are bored or painfully shy. Or perhaps really interested in footwear. But we know. We know. They’re also consistent. Michelle has spoken in the past about why her daughters are required to dress a certain way. The women of the Duggar are basically forced to wear the baggiest clothing that hides their skin and curves. “By keeping those private areas covered,” Michelle explained. “There’s not any ‘defrauding’ going on.” Yes. Defrauding. In real life, the entire notion of fraud is usually predicated upon lies or broken promises or other deceptions. Michelle and Jim Bob see things very, very differently (as is true of most things) as evidenced by their interpretation of this. “My kids are taught the definition of defrauding as stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled,” Michelle adds. “We don’t believe in defrauding others by the way we dress.” Within the Duggar household, they do not believe in any sexual activity – or kissing or hand-holding – before marriage. If you stop and think about it, what Michelle is saying there goes beyond even the bounds of “normal” modesty culture. She’s not simply arguing that women are magically responsible for the sexual thoughts of men, though there’s that, too. Michelle’s saying, almost outright, that a provocative glimpse, whether it’s of bare skin or of covered curves, is a promise. A promise of sex. There’s a word for social attitudes that frame the physical appearance of women as an invitation or a promise to have sex: rape culture. It is this exact mentality that causes predators to walk free and for survivors of sexual violence to blame themselves. So … yikes. Watch TV One’s “Three’s Complicated” Movie There’s a new TV One movie that features a familiar face and a CRAZY plot line. “Three’s Complicated” is executive produced and starring “Shameless’” Shanola Hampton as Deja, a 42-year-old divorcee who ends up in a precarious dating scenario with a younger man. Things get extraaaaa spicy when it’s discovered that that younger man, Sonny (Tyler Lepley), may also be hooking up with her college-aged daughter Eleni (Kyanna Simone Simpson). It all begins when Deja is passed over at work and decides on a night out at the bar to drown her sorrows. She ends up getting smashed to smithereens by Sonny who’s ten years her junior.
