At a screening of “The Words” at Goose Creek in the Hamptons, People magazine’s 2011 “Sexiest Man Alive” told Confidenti@l he hasn’t been speaking to his co-star, who he was romantically linked on and off with from January until June. “I only talk to Brian [Klugman, the director and childhood pal],” Cooper told us when pressed. “That’s the only person I ever talk to.” The sexy Saldana was noticeably absent from the screening of the plagiarism thriller, which also stars Jeremy Irons, Ben Barnes and Dennis Quaid. In it, she plays Cooper’s lover. “She brought so much to the role, as did everybody else. Jeremy Irons was a dream. I had a chance to work with great people,” Cooper said. Spotted at the Fiji Water and Carrera Sunglasses-sponsored screening were Susan Sarandon, Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Ostrosky. Also noticeably absent was co-star Olivia Wilde, who was linked to the blue-eyed Lothario in March 2011 after he split from then-longtime girlfriend Renee Zellweger. A spokeswoman for Saldana says the “Avatar” actress “wasn’t able to travel to New York because she had a conflict. She will be at the premiere in L.A. and is doing press from there, too.” The rep didn’t elaborate on the “conflict,” but Saldana was spotted in Los Angeles with a cast around her wrist on Friday. The former couple, who made their debut at a New Year’s Eve bash together, seemed quite friendly after calling it quits in March. They had dinner at East Village Mexican restaurant Empellon Cocina at the end of May, and we reported them locking lips while brunching with Saldana’s family at Boom in SoHo in June. SMH. It was Saturday 9 th June 2012 . I literally could not believe I was going to the Summertime Ball! We got there at like 1, and waited in the queue for an hour and a half before we were all escorted in. The stadium was massive . I had never been to a standing concert before so it was crazy. We had one row in front of us and we were in the Golden Circle right by the bridge. We had to wait about 3 hours before it started but it was so worth it. All the acts were amazing and there were loads of Beliebers nearby, we all couldn’t wait for Justin. Just before The Wanted came on stage, Scooter just walks past us with a cap on and we screamed for him. He was like 2 metres away and me and some other Beliebers were crying and everything. Later Kenny comes past by us but he was so fast! Allison also came past us. Before Justin came on stage, Kenny high fived all these people. I thought it was over but Scooter came back and stood like 1 metre away and stared up at the screen that showed all Justin’s successes, he smiled like he was proud and I was like about to cry! But Justin came on and that distracted me so much. He was so flawless. When he came to our bridge, we screamed so much and he smiled and threw his water bottle into our crowd and I caught it!! Lol joke I didn’t, some girl did like 5 rows back. He was so flawless and sexy and he lifted up his top! Scooter left and I got one last picture, it was such a crazy night! I’m seriously such an unlucky person so this has been like WOW for me, this will never happen to me again because I’m so unlucky but I just cannot believe my luck.
