The Voice Season 7 Episode 20 saw the remaining ten singers vie for America’s votes once more as this fall’s iteration of the NBC competition winds down. Only eight spots remain on tonight’s results show, so it’s crunch time. Did any of the 10 aspiring stars still standing begin to separate themselves from the field? Did any of them underachieve to the point where they’re in danger? Let’s break down all of the performances from Monday night … The Voice Season 7: Top 10 Performances 1. Craig Wayne Boyd – I Walk the Line (The Voice Top 10) Craig Wayne Boyd makes his bid for the Top 8 with a cover of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk the Line.” For the first time in the series, the teams were treated to guest mentors during a live round: Patrick Stump, Christina Aguilera, Colbie Caillat, and Diana Ross! Also legendary producer Clive Davis was on hand to assist. What could they coax out of the ten stars in training? Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake) : With a cover of Johnny Cash’s hit “Walk the Line,” he earned a standing ovation with his authenticity, talent and charisma. Matt McAndrew (Team Adam) : He took on Coldplay’s “Fix You” with an upper range that gave Gwen (and probably a few others) the chills in a big way. Anita Antoinette (Team Gwen) : Performing a reggae rendition of Passenger’s “Let Her Go,” with some Aguilera style runs, this one was a big success. Damien (Team Adam) : His take on Stevie Wonder’s “You and I,” won endless praise from Pharrell, and the crowd seemed to get totally into it as it went on. Reagan James (Team Blake) : This rendition of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” was the most unique effort of the night and one of her best this season thus far. Luke Wade (Team Pharrell) : Seeking to redeem himself on Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness,” he appeared to right the ship and then some Monday. Ryan Sill (Team Gwen) : On Muse’s “Starlight,” he took Aguilera’s advice to deviate from the original, and is among the most improved of the Top 10. Is that enough? DaNica Shirey (Team Pharrell) : Bold as it was to even attempt Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” in front of Clive Davis, she won plaudits and praise galore. Taylor John Williams (Team Gwen) : Rocking out to The Beatles’ “Come Together,” his stage presence was the main takeaway from this strong performance. Chris Jamison (Team Adam) : Singing Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” he showed strong rhythmic ability and his comfort with the entire stage. What do you think? Wayne Static of the rock band Static-X has died, according to reports. A statement on his Facebook page confirmed his passing at age 48. No details on the cause of Static’s death have been made available. Static, whose real name was Wayne Richard Wells, was best known as the frontman and lead guitarist of the band Static-X throughout a long musical career. That band released six albums between 1999-2009. The band’s 1999 effort, Wisconsin Death Trip , was certified platinum for over 1 million units shipped, the Recording Industry Association of America shows. He also released a solo album, Pighammer , in 2013. For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Tyga and Kylie Jenner are dating . Both parties denied that they were anything more than just friends, but they seemed to provide more evidence to the contrary every day. From holding hands in public to Tyga posting photos of Kylie on his Instagram page, the alleged couple seemed to be making little effort to hide their romance, despite their barely legal age difference. Earlier today, however, Tyga’s ex, Blac Chyna , posted the below photo to Instagram, then almost instantly deleted it. The neck tatt gives away that that is in fact T-Raww cuddling up to Blac. Chyna captioned the photo, “By the way he said I’m not missin no meals…” a booty reference lifted from Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda. We’re guessing Kylie is less than amused . Of course, there’s reason to believe that Blac and Tyga might be orchestrating an elaborate con. Earlier this week, word spread that Lil Wayne is pissed at Tyga for dating Kylie . That’s a big problem for the rapper, as Wayne is his label boss and is reportedly refusing to release Tyga’s new album until he ends things with Kylie. So did Tyga recruit his ex to help trick his boss? Was he hoping Wayne would see the photo before Kylie did? Good luck with that one, dude. With the Doctor and Clara on the verge of a split, our hero and our heroine VWORPed their way aboard the show’s unusual talk of the most famous fictional train ever: the Orient Express. The wanted to remember the good time and enjoy one final trip before going their separate ways. There wasn’t much of a pay-off to the conclusion of last’s week episode, which left Clara angry and distrusting of her companion. That was a bit irritating, as the series used a time-hop to easily place these two back together. However, as the hour went on, the Doctor’s practical mindset (and lack of subsequent emotion) seeped out little by little, helping Clara’s frustrations rise to the surface once again. It maybe would have been nice to see these two actually apart for a little while, though at least the Christie-inspired mystery made for an entertaining viewing. The mummy, for one thing, was a very cool addition to the series. Once you saw it, you only had 66 seconds to live. YIKES! What did everyone else think of this installment? Is Peter Capaldi growing on you as the title character? Do you wish we’d see more tension between Clara and the Doctor? Or even less of them as a united team for a change?
