We’ve been following the sad saga of Hayden Panettiere for several months now, and unfortunately, the situation seems to get more frightening by the day. The Heroes and Nashville actress is in a relationship with a man named Brian Hickerson, and family and friends have begun to fear for her safety — and for good reason. Hickerson was arrested for domestic violence back in May following an incident that was initially shrouded in secrecy. Police later revealed that Panettiere was Hickerson’s alleged victim , and the altercation took place at the home the couple shares. Hickerson has pled not guilty and is currently free on bond. Obviously, that incident terrifying enough on its own. But it’s not the only indication that Brian is at best a bad influence on Hayden and at worst a real threat to her safety. Hickerson is also facing charges for assaulting his father, and police reports indicate that Hayden was on hand and witnessed the incident. Hickerson is allegedly a very heavy drinker, and insiders say this habit has rubbed off on Hayden in a big way. Back in February — shortly after her relationship with Hickerson began — a drunken Panettiere was photographed vomiting on a public sidewalk. Needless to say, the situation has left many concerned, not the least of whom is Wladimir Klitschko then Ukranian boxer who is father to Hayden’s 4-year-old daughter. “Wladimir hit the roof when this stuff came to light,” a source tells the outlet. “They may be miles apart and co-parenting a child together, but he won’t stand for anyone hurting the mother of his child.” Hickerson might be tempted to take comfort in the fact that Klitschko lives several thousand miles away, but that distance may not serve as a protective barrier for much longer. The insider tells Radar that Klitschko plans to pay a visit to the US “very soon,” and his primary reason for doing so is checking in on the mother of his child. Frankly, the 6’6″ heavyweight can’t make the trip soon enough. Recent court filings claim that Hickerson beat Panettiere two times in the span of three days . But despite the fact that Panettiere has an order of protection against Hickerson , she remains in a relationship with him. Her family has spoken out and urged her to break things off — but at this point, a visit from Klitschko to Hickerson might be the most powerful tool of persuasion available.
