Stealing cars is a thing of the past in Florida. These days, folks are stealing whole a** churches. On Friday, a thief was captured on video stealing a trailer from Square Root Church in Cooper City, Florida, which contained all the churches furniture and supplies. Reports say that the contents of the trailer included church signs, supplies, furniture and children’s toys that had been collected over three years. The church uses the trailer space for everything from worship to a nursery and/or activity area for the kids. Pastor Daniel Rios told Local 10 News : “They can steal the trailer but they can’t steal the Lord. We came in here and we worshipped and we did what we do because what we do is not based inside of an outfit.” This past Sunday, the congregation of about 200 spent the entire service on the sanctuary’s floor. The thief is still at large, and the pastor just hopes to get the churches things back by Easter Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Source: Facebook / Facebook To help users understand the content shows up on their timelines from friends, Pages, and Groups the follow, Facebook introduced its latest feature called “Why am I seeing this post?” on Sunday (Mar.31). The company announced that the “Why am I seeing this post?” feature would be the first time the company built information on how ranking works directly into its. App. According to Facebook users will now be able to see why a specific post is on their News Feed by clicking a drop-down menu located in the right-hand corner of that particular post. Per Facebook : Why you’re seeing a certain post in your News Feed — for example, if the post is from a friend you made, a Group you joined, or a Page you followed. What information generally has the largest influence over the order of posts, including: (a) how often you interact with posts from people, Pages or Groups; (b) how often you interact with a specific type of post, for example, videos, photos or links; and (c) the popularity of the posts shared by the people, Pages and Groups you follow. Shortcuts to controls, such as See First, Unfollow, News Feed Preferences, and Privacy Shortcuts, to help you personalize your News Feed. Facebook states that through research it conducted on the new feature, users expressed that transparency “wasn’t enough without corresponding controls.” They wanted the ability to take action themselves, so the tech giant answered their request with the ability to easily manage what they see with “Why am I seeing this post?” Through people’s feedback, the tech giant also said it was able to determine what information deemed “most valuable to highlight.” Source: Facebook Facebook didn’t stop there, they also updated its “Why am I seeing this ad?” feature as well. First launched for years ago, it allowed users to see details like demographics, website visits, and interests that contribute to particular ads on your News Feed. Now you will able to see even more detailed information like when the company uploaded the information about the ad or if the business worked with a marketing partner to run the ad. This latest update follows Facebook taking a step in the right direction by banning white nationalism and white separatism from its platform. — Photo: Facebook

Source: Lil Nas X / Columbia Records Lil Nas X’ s rise to fame has already come with some controversy. He discussed his unlikely overnight success in a new feature. Imagine randomly dabbling with country music and your song actually making some noise? So much so that it lands on the country music chart but is promptly removed. That is the story of Lil Nas X. Time Magazine interviewed the Atlanta native about his recent come up and the bumps and bruises along the way. In the feature, the 19-year-old detailed dropping out of college to pursue music much to his parent’s chagrin. “My dad initially was like, ‘There’s a million rappers in this industry’. They wanted me to go back to school.” But it seems he has already proven his father wrong. His single “Old Town Road” has already slotted on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s southern twang appeal became a viral sensation with the likes of Justin Bieber showing him love. It also afforded him some relevancy within the country market as well landing him on the Hot Country Songs chart but that didn’t last too long. Billboard officially pulled him from the list citing his inclusion was a mistake. Naturally, the pulling of the track looked like an obvious jig. X discussed the snub with the iconic periodical. When asked to describe “Old Town Road” he made it clear the work can thrive in several genres. “The song is country trap. It’s not one, it’s not the other. It’s both. It should be on both” he explained. While the masses think Billboard’s move was racially biased, he attributes the slight as another example of the hesitancy of embracing something new. “I believe whenever you’re trying something new, it’s always going to get some kind of bad reception. For example, when rap started, or when rock and roll began. But with country trap, I in no way want to take credit for that. I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that.” Lil Nas X just signed a recording deal with Columbia Records. You can read the rest of the interview here . — Photo: Lil Nas X
