There’s some beef brewing between Meek Mill and Tory Lanez over a young lady named Melii and the issue is all business. Melii is a 21-year-old buzzing artist out of New York City who writes, sings and raps in both English and Spanish. Melii popped after getting over a million views on her video for “Icy” and she does lots of sold out shows in the area. She even got a co-sign from Rihanna. But SOMETHING must have happened since then, because now, Melii is jumping ship from Dreamchasers to Tory Lanez’ label One Umbrella. It looks like Melii thinks Tory and his team are a better fit. Unfortunately for Meek, he found out about Melii ditching Dreamchasers for One Umbrella on Instagram! In the comments Meek wrote: This a corny a$$ move on both ya’ll end. Welp, Melii is her own decision maker and she makes it abundantly clear. In an old interview with Ebro in The Morning, Melii recount dealing with shady managers and even has an emotional breakdown describing how men she’s worked with have tried to take advantage of her.
