One bride even shared her wedding spotlight with a group of adorable rescue pups. Instead of giving her bridesmaids bouquets to carry down the aisle, Samantha Clark gave them adoptable puppies from a local rescue group to hold onto instead. The gushing bride told The Dodo.com , “I have three dogs of my own. I originally wanted to incorporate them, but they already have a home and plenty of love. I wanted to incorporate animals that needed both: love and a home. We had a booth set up at the wedding and reception that had a log of adoptable dogs. I’ve been told many adoption applications have been submitted.” But what is it about the baby canines that just makes an humans heart melt? According to PetMD , bonding with another living being that doesn’t judge and only wants love from you is one of the main reasons people invest in pups. “Dogs really don’t care if you’re a five-star culinary artist, or if you can barely open a can of soup. Nope. They love you because you’re you. Gregory Alan Foster was accused by Ball’s financial planner of taking money from Big Baller Brand and general mismanagement of the Lakers point guard’s finances. It Ain’t Safe: Tyson Recalls Nearly 70,000 Pounds Of Chicken Strips That Might Contain Metal

Source: Ramin Talaie / Getty Tyson Is Recalling Almost 70,000 Pounds Of Their Chicken The United States Department of Argiculture  announced on Thursday that Tyson Foods, Inc. recalled 69,093 pounds of their frozen chicken strip. According to the company, Tyson fears that the food was contaminated with metal. For everyone out there with some chicken in their freezer wondering which product specifically, it’s the buffalo and crispy style ready-to-eat variety, which were produced on November 30, 2018. That means that all of the recalled products should have a “best if used by” date of Nov. 30, 2019, along with the establishment number “P-7221” printed on the back. These products were shipped all around the country, including going to Washington and Michigan for “ institutional use. “ The decision to recall the chicken came after a pair of customers complained of “extraneous material” in their strips. This most recent situation definitely isn’t the first time a product of theirs has caused some trouble for the company–as a matter of fact, it’s not even the first time this year. Tyson asked customers to return 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets back in January because they may have been contaminated with rubber. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service gave this recall a “Class I” label, which means a high health risk and a “situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.” Yikes. The agency says if you have any potentially contaminated strips in your fridge or freezer at the moment, you should return them to the store you got them from or just throw them out. The release also points out that “there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.”

It’s Really Over: For The First Time In 9 Seasons, LeBron James Won’t Be Going To The Playoffs

Source: Kevork Djansezian / Getty LeBron James Won’t Be In The Playoffs This Year It’s official: LeBron James has been eliminated from the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2004-05 season. The Lakers were out defeated on Friday night when the Brooklyn Nets beat them in a tight race of 111-106. As for the team itself, this will be the sixth year in a row the Lakers have missed the postseason, which just so happens to be a franchise record (but not the good kind). This loss also drops the Los Angeles Lakers’ record to 31-41 for the entire season. LeBron’s signing at the beginning of this season originally gave the Lakers something to look forward to. It was all good just a few months ago, when the team was in fourth place in the Western Conference after a Christmas Day victory against Golden State. But that’s also when things started to go downhill, as James suffered a groin injury during that same game and had to sit out for a career-long 17 games. The Lakers ended up only winning 6 of those 17 games without him and the team as a whole just wasn’t able to bounce back. This transition to the Lakers also marks a big year of firsts (or at least the firsts in a long time) for LeBron. In addition to missing out on the postseason for the first time in 14 years, LeBron’s streak of playing in eight consecutive NBA Finals has officially come to an end. The last Finals without LeBron were in 2010, when the Lakers beat the Celtics in seven games. The only bright side to this? LeBron has a lot of stuff up his sleeve outside of basketball, so he probably won’t be too bored during his extra time off.

Archie Williams spent almost 36 years in prison for a 1982 rape and assault case that he didn’t commit. He was finally released after being exonerated. According to NY Post , during his case, Williams’ family testified that he was indeed at home during the time that the incident took place, but the 12 members of the jury thought otherwise and found the then 22-year-old Williams guilty and he was sentenced to life without parole. Last week however, new fingerprint technology with a national database showed that the crime was committed by another man, Stephen Forbes. Forbes allegedly committed several other rapes around the same time and died in prison in 1996. You are factually innocent, wrongfully convicted, and on behalf of the state, we apologize that you have suffered this.” Louisiana law says that Williams is only entitled to a maximum of $250,000 for his wrongful incarceration, roughly $7,000 for each year he was in prison.

Source: Justin Merriman / Getty After Only Three & A Half Hours A Jury Acquitted The Cop That Fatally Shot Antwon Rose According to the NY Daily News , The former Pittsburgh cop that was charged with criminal homicide in the fatal shooting unarmed black teen Antwon Rose was found not guilty. The not guilty verdict came after only 3 & a half hours of deliberation from the jury. Michael Rosfeld was initially charged after giving multiple accounts of the incident that left Rose shot in his face, elbow and back last year. Rosfeld reportedly pulled over the car Rose was riding in on suspicion of having been in the area of a nearby shooting. The former cop initially told investigators that he saw “something dark that he perceived as a gun,” but he later said he didn’t see a gun “when the passengers emerged and ran.” Rose was shot while trying to run away before being handcuffed.

His close friend and rapper Akbar V actually spoke with him hours before he was fatally shot. Akbar, appearing to be grieving hard spoke to WSBTV about her friendship with Cliff. A new detail, according to the report is that Cliff was shot ‘multiple times’ while standing in the parking lot of the club. The gunman allegedly walked up to him and let off shots, no reports yet say that it was a robbery. So far there is no suspect arrested over this senseless tragedy.
