Tevin Campbell has been rarely seen since his prime in the 90’s but it looks like we will be seeing a whole lot more of him in the near future.  Campbell took to social media to make a big announcement that he was on the set of Queen Sugar and will be joining the cast! Evidently, the diehard fans of Tevin Campbell are the reason he’s been added to the cast.  During season 3 fans took to Twitter and braided writer and creator of the hit series Ava Duvernay with tweets requesting that Campbell is added to the cast showing the power of social media does in fact work! So we sat down with celebrity hairstylist Nikki Regis, of the Thomas Taft Salon in NYC, to talk about the hot new looks for natural hair. Regis – who specializes in protective styles, cuts, coloring and transitioning back to natural – said the new crop of hairstyles for natural hair was all about textured looks to let your style stand out. Low cuts are becoming the latest trend into naturals, Regis said, adding that bright colors like neon, reds, and blues were the new dye jobs her clients were now requesting. “Whether you choose not to do a color, the main focus is on fun styles that are short, tapered and edgy,” Regis said.
