Sad news for one our favorite 90’s singers. Monica Brown has officially filed for divorce from her ex NBA player husband Shannon Brown. TMZ confirmed that couple filed earlier this month in Atlanta. The couple calls it quit after 9 years. Monica and Shannon share a 5-year-old daughter Laiyah together, while Monica has two other sons from her previous relationship with rapper Rocko. At the moment there is no word is she will be seeking spousal support or any type of custody arrangement. Monica tried to have the divorce records sealed from the public but her attempt failed and now it’s public information. It was rumored that the couple separated last year and but they killed the rumor by coming together bringing a united front. There were rumors that there was cheating involved but the couple never confirmed or denied though allegations. In Monica’s last few recents post she has been seen without her wedding ring. TMZ caught her “leaving pilates” and asked about her health and if she would be seeing the new baby that Kevin Hunter just had with another woman. Things have gone from bad to worse for Wendy Williams. And now the talk show host appears to be in legitimate trouble. According to The Daily Mail, Williams was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after she suffered a relapse just one day after numerous outlets reported that her husband’s mistress had given birth to a baby. That’s a confusing sentence, we know. But Kevin Hunter, who has been married to Williams since 1997 and who shares an 18-year old son with the television personality, has allegedly been having an affair with a woman named Sharina Hudson for years. This has been an ongoing rumor for as long as we can remember — and it’s something Williams has even remarked upon to her viewers. She’s never really come out and denied the affair; she’s simply said she remains committed to her marriage. But then Hudson reportedly welcomed Hunter’s child on Monday and this, understandably, was enough to send Williams into a tailspin. The aforementioned publication writes that Williams was given an IV bag that contained vitamins and minerals at the hospital after members of her team found her highly intoxicated. It’s unclear exactly what state Williams was discovered in… but it was clearly a troubled one. “She was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show Monday,” a source told the Daily Mail website, adding: “She went back to the sober house only to check herself out and decided to start drinking.” Indeed, Williams admitted to her audience just last week that she was living in this sort of facility after a previous recent relapse. Williams was spotted on the street yesterday without her wedding ring on, perhaps as a sign that she’s finally prepared to walk away from Hunter. As mentioned above and depicted above, Williams opened the March 19 episode of her morning talk show by telling her fans she had been staying in a sober living facility while she battles her addiction. “You know me for being a very open and truthful person and I’ve got more to the story for you,” she said, prior to delving into the details as follows: “You know [my husband] Kevin [Hunter] and I have The Hunter Foundation for the good of the people. We recently launched our 888-5 HUNTER number for those of you caught up in the struggle of addiction. “Well, for some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house. “When you see me come to work glammed up, right after the show I go across the street, I do my Pilates. I told you – two hours a day or [so], to take care of my body… “You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped.” Hunter has said very little about his alleged affair and also about Wendy in general, but he did speak out about her sober living facility move , referring to her addiction and hopeful recovery as a “family process.” Those close to Wendy are praying Kevin won’t be a member of her family for much longer, however. “Wendy is considering divorcing Kevin,” says The Daily Mail, concluding: “She’s really distraught over the situation, she knew about Sharina but didn’t think a baby would arrive. She didn’t think Kevin would go this far, she’s lost and everyone is worried for her.” We don’t like what Williams sometimes says on her show, but we do wish her the best in this case. The gushing bride told The Dodo.com , “I have three dogs of my own. I originally wanted to incorporate them, but they already have a home and plenty of love. I wanted to incorporate animals that needed both: love and a home. We had a booth set up at the wedding and reception that had a log of adoptable dogs. I’ve been told many adoption applications have been submitted.” But what is it about the baby canines that just makes an humans heart melt? Fresh out of jail again Robert Kelly has made a return to social media early on March 20th. This is his first post since the beginning of 2019 and since the domino of legal troubles that have haunted him this year. So what did R. Kelly have to say? Nothing really but he did break out in song for his estranged daughters birthday. R. Kelly hasn’t seen his daughter in over two years and she made it clear a while ago that she wanted nothing to do with him calling him a “monster” in January and saying that “it has been years since my siblings and I have seen or have spoken to him.” But that didn’t stop R. Kelly from sending well wishes for her 21st birthday. But showing how out of touch he really is with his children, he called her by her birth name Joanne. But she no longer goes by her birth name now calling herself Buku Abi to separate herself even more from her father and the name Kelly. While R. Kelly has the comments turned off on his Instagram account he did not on Twitter and of course many had something to say about his message to his daughter. Tevin Campbell has been rarely seen since his prime in the 90’s but it looks like we will be seeing a whole lot more of him in the near future. Campbell took to social media to make a big announcement that he was on the set of Queen Sugar and will be joining the cast! I’m sure you all know by now that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have the most adorable close-knit family. And if you don’t, then please come out from under your rock and appreciate these heartwarming photos. The newly engaged couple is doing a fabulous job at setting a precedent on how to have the most perfect blended family. The 2019 version of The Brady Bunch , if you will. J-Lo and A-Rod have combined their four children and are quickly becoming America’s new favorite blended fam! The love birds finally got engaged after two years of dating and apparently, their kids have been anxiously waiting for the proposal, according to Oprah Magazine. Rodriguez popped the question on March 9 in the Bahamas and according to his Instagram, she said yes! Both posted photos of the special day while the former New York Yankee held her hand, which showed off a massive diamond rock! Plus her nails were properly painted and it seemed as though there was even a bonfire going off in the background. How romantic! And while the diamond stunner was gaining the world’s attention, many were equally impressed by the way the superstars’ kids seem to get along. According to the couple, Rodriguez’s daughters and Lopez’s twins have become instant BFFs. A-Rod shares Natasha, 14 and Ella, 10, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis and Lopez’s 10-year-old twins Max and Emme are from her third marriage to Marc Anthony. The 43-year-old dad has said, “We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.” And Lopez added that the kids are so excited for the wedding and will definitely play a major role in the upcoming ceremony. We have loved watching the mega-famous parents merge their cute little families together, ever since Alex proudly claimed his girlfriend to be the type of “role model” he wants for his daughters. It has only gotten better since then as the kids are regularly spotted together, like one big happy herd. The new family seems as though it was always meant to be. Every piece of the puzzle has been solved, they fit like a glove, they’re just really perfect, ok? For instance, both parents have made it a priority to give equal attention to their children as they do to themselves as a couple. For every high-quality captured moment of Lopez and Rodriguez out on their glamorous date nights, there are in return the more candid, casual shots of the entire clan. Just take a glance at either of their Instagram profiles and you will find lots of laughs, smiles and loving fun. There are snapshots of the engaged couple with their little foursome at carpool drop-offs, Christmas-tree decorating, and on family vacations. The pictures definitely come off as authentic and balanced, achieving total #FamGoals. And maybe there is even room for one more of their own one day? The joint families are so close, in fact, that one of Rodriguez’s posts from this past summer showed him and Lopez along with her ex-husband Anthony, all together at a dress recital for A-Rod’s daughters Natasha and Ella! That single post generated over 256,000 likes and countless supportive comments. Lopez even played make-up artist for the girls pre-performance that night and yes, our hearts were melting. The 43 and 49-year-old couple are successfully building something that is solid and united, something many people can learn from at this time. Lopez has said the “kids are so beautiful and open to love and new friends,” By honoring and paying attention to each individual, the family has been able to grow into a happy whole. Psychologists stress the importance of placing children into an environment that encourages strong connections to both parents – regardless of biology. Not only that, I definitely felt like our fans should see Kenya — happy, pregnant. How can we miss her whole pregnancy and not see her once?
