Showtime must be celebrating Black History Month, because it put the African-American eyefuls front and center this week on the boob tube…and Mr. Skin’s got no complaints! First Megalyn Echikunwoke reprised her role as a stripper/law student on House of Lies, this time to give Don Cheadle (and us!) a private show in his bedroom. Then, Californication made its return to the skin game as Meagan Good flashed her goods in a lacy bra. Those cocoa bombs are SKINcredible, but is it too much to ask that she take the bra off? Finally, there’s one show that you know will never hold out on hootage, and that’s Starz’ Spartacus . This week’s episode featured boobs from Viva Bianca , Katrina Law and Bonnie Sveen , as well as a writhing array of naked extras during an orgy scene. Those Romans really knew how to party… See pics from Californication and Spartacus after the jump!
Crack is wack. We’re not saying no names, but somebody needs to go back to rehab. Bad. Whitney Houston was spotted leaving Tru Hollywood Nightclub last night looking a hot mess. We’ve got the snapshots and you definitely need to see them. She got the booty-do on blast, blood dripping down her leg and she was clearly cussing folks out. See what we mean? More disturbing shots when you continue
An avalanche of new trailers dominates the geek-tastic discussion in this week’s episode of Talk Nerdy! By Josh Wigler Jeremy Renner in “Bourne Legacy” Photo: Universal Studios Second to glorious football, the big reason to tune into the Super Bowl every year is the commercials. For movie fans, this year was a giant one: We got great new looks at Taylor Kitsch’s doubleheader in “Battleship” and “John Carter,” but the main event was Joss Whedon’s superhero-studded “Avengers.” But not to be outdone, another Marvel hero swung into action after the big game. “The Amazing Spider-Man” released its full theatrical trailer on Tuesday, spinning web-worthy chatter all week long. But even Spidey has to face some serious competition in the form of a new super spy who isn’t named Jason Bourne. We got into these trailers and more in this week’s Talk Nerdy, featuring special guest and closet nerd Rob Markman from MTV News’ hip-hop team! “Bourne” To Die There was never just one. Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne is as iconic as they come in the superspy scene, no doubt, but he has new company in the form of Jeremy Renner’s Aaron Cross. Cross steps into the forefront with this week’s release of the first “Bourne Legacy” teaser… but does it live up to its name? Is this a teaser worthy of the storied “Bourne” franchise? See what the Nerdy crew thinks in this week’s episode. Spider-Can Bourne doesn’t get the spotlight all to himself, of course. There’s also the new “Spider-Man” trailer to weigh in on this week! Andrew Garfield cracks wise and swings high in the Marvel icon’s classic red-and-blues, and overall, fans are very pleased with this latest “Amazing” look. That said, even with an awesome new trailer at his disposal, did Spider-Man win the superhero of the week award? Or did another of Earth’s mightiest comic book movies steal some of Spidey’s thunder? The “Phantom” Looms There’s lots to choose from at the box office this weekend, including the re-release of “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,” this time in 3-D. Is it worth going back to the world of a long time ago in a galaxy far away just for some new visual tricks, or are the weekend’s all-new releases more deserving of your hard-earned theatergoing cash? One nerd played it “Safe” on the issue, while another “Vow”-ed to see something special ahead of Valentine’s Day next week. Get their picks in the latest episode of Talk Nerdy. Luck wasn’t the only show getting lucky (sorry, couldn’t resist) on the boob tube this weekend as House of Lies and Spartacus: Vengeance (sk)introduced us to some nude faces. Nudecome r Anna Rose Hopkins guest starred on Showtime’s House of Lies this week, playing a good Mormon girl who’s saving herself for marriage…in the front, anyway. The back door? That’s a whole ‘nother story. And Spartacus: Vengeance brought us boobage from the perpetually sexy Viva Bianca , who made us rub-a-chub-chub with an excellent topless bath scene, and nudecomer Bonnie Sveen , who revealed her Roman rack as a slave whose master took her for a doggie-style ride. See pics from this week’s Spartacus and more from House of Lies after the jump!
‘Talk Nerdy’ team debates the merits of more ‘Watchmen’ stories and breaks down this week’s box-office competitors ‘Chronicle’ and ‘Woman in Black.’ By Josh Wigler “Watchmen” comic Photo: Warner Bros. Pictures After “Watchmen,” comic book fans were left under the impression that there would be no more stories featuring Rorschach, Doctor Manhattan, Nite Owl and the rest of their morally ambiguous crime-fighting pals. But that was before “Before Watchmen.” The announcement of new “Watchmen” comic books rocked the fan community to its core, and we’re dealing with the fallout in this week’s round of “Talk Nerdy” madness. Watch the episode below, and keep reading for further nerdiness! Who Watches “Before Watchmen”? Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ most popular characters are returning to the paneled page, but Moore and Gibbons are nowhere to be found. Instead, DC Comics has hired a crew consisting of Darwyn Cooke, Brian Azzarello, J. Michael Straczynski and others to spearhead “Before Watchmen,” a series of seven different comic book titles (each containing no fewer than four issues) debuting later this year. It’s a controversial decision to return to what many consider to be sacred material, sure, but in the eyes of the Nerds, it’s also a no-brainer: How do you turn down buckets filled with million-dollar bills, after all? Get their take on the news, plus some insight from MTV Geek ‘s very own Valerie Gallaher. Spidey Misses “The Avengers” Elsewhere in the superhero space, rumors involving a possible Spider-Man cameo in “The Avengers” were officially shot down this week during a Twitter Q&A with director Joss Whedon . “There is no Spider-Man cameo,” he declared. “But the Avengers do turn off the dark.” Even with a fork in the rumors, the Nerdy crew couldn’t help but wonder about the possibilities of Spidey yukking it up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. See if they were for or against a visit from your friendly neighborhood web-head in your weekly dose of Nerdy. Potter Wears “Black,” Heroes Get Chronicled It continues to be an eventful year at the box office, with not one but two extremely geek-friendly movies hitting theaters this weekend. We’re talking, of course, about the Daniel Radcliffe-starring “Woman in Black” and the found-footage superhero film “Chronicle” from young director Josh Trank. But there’s another movie in the mix that one of our hosts wholeheartedly endorses, a decision so controversial, so outrageous, that his very Nerdy membership is now very much in jeopardy. Intrigued? We’ve got a nude player in the mix this week, now that Spartacus: Vengeance is back to harden your partacus with a (you got it) vengeance. The first episode of the new series (which picks up where the first season, Spartacus: Blood and Sand , left off) brought back all our favorite randy Romans: wicked patricians Lucy Lawless and Viva Bianca both bared boobs and a hint of pubes, with some suckable sacks from escaped slave Katrina Law as the icing on the honeycake. Over on Showtime, Shameless introduced us to nudecomer Emma Greenwell , who is taking over neighborhood bicycle duties for the newly-engaged (on the show, of course) Laura Wiggins . That gorgeous pair really inflates our inner tube! Finally,we don’t know how House of Lies does it, but it’s quickly become the most underwhelming nude show on TV. It’s not that it doesn’t showcase skin- it does- there’s just something about it that doesn’t excite us like, say , a new season of Game of Thrones . Anyway, this week we got a quick tit flash from Dawn Olivieri and a lingerie scene from the stubbornly skingy Kristen Bell , which unfortunately is the best we’re gonna get from her this season. But seriously, have you seen that new Game of Thrones teaser trailer ? More after the jump!
