Rap Royalty Out In Full Force At Mobb Deep Front Man’s Homegoing 50 Cent was among the hip-hop heavyweights who turned up to say goodbye to Prodigy. 50 Cent spoke at a private wake for the star at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home in Manhattan Thursday before a public viewing. Prodigy died June 20th after performing in Las Vegas. He was 42 years old, and leaves behind a daughter. Scores of people filled the chapel, where large bouquets of white flowers flanked Prodigy’s closed casket.
