Rob Kardashian Reappears With Weight Loss Rob Kardashian has been off the scene for a while, but his recent reappearance on social media might just signal a comeback. Via E!online : Rob Kardashian continues to come out of his social media shell. The 28-year-old brother of Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars Kourtney Kardashian, 36, Kim Kardashian, 34, Khloé Kardashian, 31, Kendall Jenner, 19 and Kylie Jenner, 18, had largely remained out of the public eye for more than a year while battling personal issues, including a weight struggle. Rob, who had appeared on the show and its spinoffs in past years, even missed Kim’s wedding to Kanye West, 38, in Italy last summer. Earlier this week, he posted a rare photo of himself on his Instagram account, which he has scrubbed several times, appearing slimmer and happy. Early on Saturday, Ron shared another pic of himself, looking somber. A source recently told E! News that Rob is”committed” to losing the more than 100 pounds he put on, a weight gain he said began with too many milkshakes. Rob’s BFF and DASH Dolls star Malika Haqq told E! News exclusively this week that he is “”doing very well” and has been working out and taking care of himself. Good for Rob! This doggy style hotel was erected in Germany as part of a Ruhrtriennale Festival in Bochum, Germany. Other times, it’s a place where people can reunite with those who changed their lives. An Air Force Pararescue Jumper spent 10 years looking for an adorable three-year-old girl he rescued after Hurricane Katrina wreaked havoc on New Orleans in 2005. With only a heartwarming picture taken minutes after the rescue, and no information on the little girl or her family, the Air Force vet turned to social media and the hashtag #FindKatrinaGirl to find the Nawlins tyke. And because the Internet is awesome, it worked! Via PEOPLE: Mike Maroney had just returned from a devastating rescue mission in Afghanistan when he was called to New Orleans in September 2005 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Maroney and his team spent seven days descending on rooftop after rooftop, rescuing stranded residents around the city, a grim task that left him wondering how many would actually survive. One of the few bright spots was an adorable, pigtailed three-year-old girl, who greeted the soldier with a big, joyous hug after she and her family landed in his helicopter. That hug “recharged me and gave me a little bit of a silver lining and some hope…that kept me going through rough times,” Maroney, 40, now an Air Force Reservist who teaches people how to become pararescue jumpers in San Antonio, Texas, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It couldn’t have come at a more important moment.” Maroney, who never got the little girl or her family’s names, has been searching for her ever since – and he’s finally found her, he tells PEOPLE. Her name is LeShay Brown, she’s now 13 years old and she lives with her family in Waveland, Mississippi. The two will reunite in New Orleans later this month. “I can’t wait to meet her to tell her how important she is,” he says. “In my line of work, it doesn’t usually turn out happily,” he says. “This hug, this moment, was like – everybody I’ve ever saved, that was the thank you.” So sweet! These are interesting times on Lena Dunham’s Instagram page. Earlier this week, Dunham bashed Justin Bieber on social media, suggesting that the lyrics to his new single “What Do You Mean?” sent a troubling message about sexual consent. Since the song doesn’t appear to be about sex at all, Dunham was widely called out for reading too much into the lyrics of a freakin’ Justin Bieber song. She responded by dialing things back and posting a side-by-side pic of herself with the Biebs. She also posted a close-up of her crotch for some reason. Lena captioned the pic on the left, “How could anyone think I have an issue with Bieber?” Shortly thereafter, she posted the pic on the right, but quickly deleted it and posted a new pic with a caption reading: “Just an FYI, I don’t delete because I’m ashamed of my body — I delete because certain pics become hot beds for negativity. You think I want a teenager visiting my page and seeing a zillion comments about how fat I am? No, because that is hurtful to any person struggling, comparing, contrasting. So since the trollz came out, I will instead share a pic of me shining bright on my rightful throne.” Lena has encouraged body positivity in many admirable ways throughout her career, and we understand what she’s saying here, but the claim that she deleted a bizarre extreme close-up of her own camel toe because she’s thinking of the children(!!!) is a bit eye-rolly. It’s an unfortunate truth about the Internet, but haters gonna hate (hate, hate, hate) and sometimes the only thing you can do is take a cue from Lena’s BFF and just shake it off. We’d say never anything negative about Lena’s body or her right to post pics of herself from whatever angle she chooses, but we will take issue with a different recent post of hers: Earlier this week, Dunham posted that she had cured her “buttne” (The girl’s not shy.), and we feel obligated to point out that “assne” is a way better pun. Just sayin’.
