Hi! My name is Nicole and I’m from Toronto, Canada. I am fortunate enough to be writing my fourth Bieber experience. Justin was in Toronto for the MMVA’s on Friday June 15 th – Monday June 18 th , so my friends and I got a hotel for the weekend, which just happened to me beside Justin’s. On Saturday morning after checking in, we noticed a big crowd around a hotel, after waiting for about an hour, Justin walks out with Selena and gets in the car. He drove past us slowly with the window down, waving and saying hi to all of us, touching everyone’s hands. That night was Alfredo’s birthday, which was celebrated at a popular Toronto club, which we were also at, supporting DJ Tay James. After a great and unforgettable night out with the crew, we went back to the hotel to catch up on the loss of sleep we had. Sunday was the MMVA’s, which Justin performed at and did incredible. At this point, we lost hope in meeting Justin, and decided to just forget about it, and have an amazing night at Perez Hilton’s after party. We knew that the next morning Justin had an event in NYC, which is only a one-hour flight from Toronto. We figured Monday morning would be our last chance to meet Justin. We wanted to wake up super early, until none of our alarms went off, so we rushed to pack our bags, clean the room, and get ready. We went next-door to Justin’s hotel and waited about two hours, until we saw Bruce. We then saw Kenny and Alfredo bring down luggages and put them in a van. We knew something was up. A few minutes later, Justin and Selena come outside and put their stuff in their car. Selena jumped right into the car and so we thought Justin would do the same. All of a sudden he disappears and no one knows where he went. About 2 minutes later he walks out from behind the car and says hi to everyone, and tells us that he wanted to take a picture with every single one of us. After getting my picture, I told him about the Toronto Buyout my friends and I were having the weekend after, he replied with, “A buyout?! Buyouts are AWESOME!” with a huge smile on his face.  He was saying hi to every single fan, asking them how they were, and ended it with a huge hug. As he was with other fans, my friend and I were just talking to Kenny, while waiting for Justin to finish. I’ve never experienced Justin this humble towards us before, out of all the encounters I’ve had with Justin. He was in such a great mood, even though he had a flight to catch, he was very focused on meeting us and making our dreams come true . Before he left, he shouted, “Did everyone get a picture? I want to make sure everyone got one before I leave.” How sweet of him! He was truly generous and thankful for us. I was also lucky enough to get meet & greets for Justin’s Believe tour, so Justin… see you in November! Thank you for everything that you do! -@NicoleCampea Read more: Hi! ‘Brave,’ ‘Hunger Games’ And The History Of Lady Archers

As Princess Merida joins the big-screen leagues of Katniss Everdeen, we look at the sport’s storied past, in Hobnobbing. By Amy Wilkinson Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” Photo: A fiery bow-and-arrow-wielding heroine not named Katniss Everdeen? Color us intrigued! This weekend, Pixar will take aim at the box-office bull’s-eye with its first foray into the fairy-tale princess pic. ” Brave ” follows a young Scottish royal named Merida, who bucks her parents’ wishes, insisting on paving her own path — with bow firmly in hand. Of course, the animated flick is only the latest this year to feature an adept bow-woman (or bowman). There was Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) in “The Avengers,” William (Sam Claflin) in “Snow White and the Huntsman” and, our obvious favorite, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) in ” The Hunger Games .” Unsurprisingly, this slew of big-screen portrayals has helped revive interest in the ancient sport , with more and more amateur archers sizing up their targets. But let’s be clear about one thing: Bow-besotted babes are nothing new. Lady archers have been around practically since the dawn of time. Follow me down their storied path: Like most grand ideas, the concept of a woman and her bow has roots in Greek mythology. “Amazon” may be a compliment for a leggy lady nowadays, but maybe it shouldn’t be, considering the ancient archers were often depicted with their left breast cut off to make wielding their weaponry simpler. The Greek goddess of the hunt, Artemis, was also frequently pictured holding a bow and arrow (sans missing mammary glands). Throughout the Middle Ages, archery served dual purposes: fending off enemies and hunting prey for sustenance. But by the Elizabethan era, it had become a posh pastime, with proper ladies learning the sport — along with dancing and riding — as part of their studies. (P.E. was soooo much cooler back then.) In fact, Queen Elizabeth I herself (daughter of Henry VIII) is said to have been a skilled archer. A few hundred years later, the sport made its Olympics debut in 1900, with women taking up arms at the 1904 games. The event took a hiatus from the Games between 1920 and 1972, reappearing at the Munich Olympics. And while plenty of Hollywood heavyweights have learned the skill for a movie, one took it upon herself to learn for the sport of it. Actress Geena Davis made it all the way to the semifinal rounds of the Olympic trials in 1999, hoping to compete in the 2000 games in Sydney. The games and a gold medal were not in Davis’ future, but she already has one gilded goody (namely, an Oscar) to console herself. And speaking of actresses and archery, the last few decades have offered up a bumper crop of bow roles, from Gwyneth Paltrow in “Emma” to Saoirse Ronan in “Hannah.” And, of course, Lawrence in “The Hunger Games.” All we have so say is, may the odds be ever in your favor, lady archers! Is Katniss your favorite fictional archer? Do you plan to see “Brave” this weekend? Sound off in the comments below and tweet me @amymwilk with your thoughts and suggestions for future columns! Kim Kardashian Addresses "Depression," Lessons Learned from Divorce

Who knew it took so little to level Oprah Winfrey? Days after the talk show host claimed she was blown away by the answer Kim Kardashian gave in relation to her 72-day marriage falling apart, this interview actually aired on OWN and viewers listened to… a completely expected, cliche-filled spewing of total BS from the reality star. “I was in love: I wanted the life that I always pictured my fairytale life to be,” Kim told Oprah, reiterating the same line she’s used many times to explain her split from Kris Humphries . “I don’t want to get into the small things, but once we moved in, I knew he was not the one.” Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey Interview Kardashian never actually uttered her ex’s name during the chat, but she did open up about the aftermath of the divorce (which is still legally pending ). “I was in such a deep depression I thought I was going to back away from everything,” she said. “I stayed at home for almost four months and I’m a better person now, as heartbreaking as it was to go through… it was embarrassing, I don’t want to call it a mistake, it was a lesson.” Just don’t call the wedding a ratings grab, dammit! “We have an amazing fan base that watches the show,” Kardashian said. “We don’t do anything for ratings.” The old Oprah Winfrey may have said the same.

Rihanna got yet another tattoo over the weekend. Spoiler alert: It’s not of Chris Brown . Or Drake. The singer, who has at least 16 other tattoos, got inked up on her ankle. That’s a falcon of some kind, which she explained in the following Tweet: “Falcon: a light that always shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep,” Rihanna wrote about her newest, permanent work of body art. Among Rihanna’s many other tattoos: A cross on her neck A gun on her ribcage Various stars here and there Music notes on both of her feet The word “Love” on her finger She also had a thug life tattoo at one point, though it looks like that may have been one of those temporary things. Probably for the best on that one.
