The Michael Jackson tribute concert took place this weekend in Wales where numerous performers were invited and paid to perform. Jennifer Hudson was one of them, but according to TMZ.com pulled a no-show and didn’t even warn the producers! She tweeted that she wouldn’t be attending the show due to “major production issues.” According to a source of TMZ “Hudson is claiming she felt the show’s producers didn’t give her enough time with the music she was supposed to be singing. According to our sources, Jennifer received her music the same time as all the performers.” Click here , for full article. Real Steel Delivers Box Office Knockout Blow

Hugh Jackman and a robot named Atom knocked the competition down to the canvas this weekend, as Real Steel opened huge at the box office. The action film, which garnered great reviews across the board, brought in $27.3 million domestically on Friday and Saturday. Real Steel Trailer George Clooney and Ryan Gosling finished a distant second in their first weekend together, as The Ides of March tallied just over $10 million. Report: The Steve Jobs Biopic is Coming

You knew it would happen sooner or later: Late Apple founder Steve Jobs will reportedly be getting getting the big screen biopic treatment, courtesy of Sony. The Social Network studio has acquired feature rights to Walter Isaacson’s as-yet unreleased authorized book Steve Jobs , which culls interviews with Jobs and his close associates and family members and has been fast-tracked to hit shelves October 24. It should be an interesting match, considering Sony’s tech division is a direct Apple competitor; imagine the cross-branding planning meetings! As for the film, fantasy casting is wide open. Could you turn that down if it meant bettering yourself? Bartell Keithle has a plan to help you get your life together. He proposes that everyone take part in a “booty boycott”. Essentially, people would abstain from sex on the weekends to refocus their lives and better themselves. He believes that couples can get a closer, intimate connection if they abstain during the weekend and singles can focus on themselves and their plans. He also believes that couples that abstain can focus on other things like dating and getting to know each other instead of just taking it straight to the sack. This sounds really nice, but how many people you think will be playing hooky just to get some of dat a$$ during the week? The economy is no joke and people can’t get fired for trying to take Thursday nooners. Still, this seems like a novel idea. Do you think you could last with a booty boycott? Sound off.
