My name is Julia and I am thirteen years old. I am a huge Justin Bieber fan. I live in a semi-small town in Florida. I discovered in late February that Selena Gomez was in my town filming her movie, Spring Breakers. All of my friends wanted to meet her, so did I. After the first few weeks of her being here, I gave up my search for her. But then, something more amazing then anything I had ever experienced happened. My father and I went out to dinner on a Saturday night (3/10/12) at a restaurant downtown where I live. We walked in and sat down, then my whole night made a massive turn. I was walking to the restroom when I saw Justin Bieber, his bodyguards and Selena sitting at a table. I didn’t know what to do. I freaked out and sat back down. When they left I followed them out and I yelled asking if I could please have a picture? Justin’s bodyguard said no, but Justin hugged me and said yes anyway. We took a picture and then he hugged me again. The best part was, I was the only fan there! It was an adult restaurant so I was very lucky to be there. Justin was super nice. I soon figured out that he was here for the weekend visiting Selena. The three minutes I spent with him were the best three minutes of my life. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting fame are campaigning hard for Rick Santorum, calling the Republican the “Man Of God” to lead the United States. The ultra religious Duggar family backed the GOP presidential candidate early on, and have been emboldened by the underdog’s recent surge to the top of many polls. “We want a man that honors God to lead our nation,” Michelle Duggar said about the former Senator and why she’s supporting him for the Republican party nomination. “We have been praying to the Lord that if you want the heart of the voters to turn to Rick Santorum then please do so,” she said . “We prayed that more people would take a closer look at him, and more people are getting behind him.” Jim Bob Duggar said he was impressed with Santorum, who recently gained another celeb endorsement from Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine , throughout his career. “He has a backbone of steel and a heart of gold,” Jim Bob said. “He’s the family values candidate with a proven record. He honors life and stands for what is right. He’s on a shoestring budget, but we hope he will go from a pickup truck to Air Force One.” In the coming weeks, Jim Bob and Michelle will keep spreading love for Santorum. Our very first president, Washington led the rebellion over Great Britain, crafting a land of opportunity, where life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are held dear. Four score and seven years later, Lincoln delivered his vaunted Gettysburg Address, steadfastly vying to preserve the nation his predecessors fought so valiantly for. The bottom line here is that both were the best of their time, remain legends today, and ranking their achievements and indelible marks is close to impossible. I’m picturing director David Gordon Green as a teenager, watching 80’s B-movies while totally high and imagining how amazing it would be if the characters in said B-movies were also stoned out of their mind. At some point, as we all must, he grew out of this phase, and later directed critical darlings like George Washington and All the Real Girls . Then one night it hit him: “Those days on the couch in the 80’s were the best!” Moreover, “What if all of the characters in those movies were totally high?” And thus, we got Pineapple Express and now the NSFW red band trailer to Your Highness , which pits Natalie Portman, James Franco and Danny McBride against three-headed creatures, sorcerers and potent marijuana.
