Zach LaVine Wins All Star Dunk Contest Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Zach LaVine wowed Madison Square Garden when he went between the legs for this amazing first-round jam and scored a perfect 50. LaVine, 19, is the first Timberwolves player to win the dunk contest since Isaiah Rider in 1994 and also the first player with multiple individual dunks with perfect scores in the same contest since Dwight Howard in 2009. As he told ESPN : “I’m still on cloud nine. I feel like I’m dreaming. Seeing all the dunk contests and people hoisting the trophy, I just saw myself do it and lived it, so it’s a dream come true. I’m glad my family is here to witness it and go through it.”
Kanye Almost Interrupts Beck After Beyonce got beat by Beck in the “Best Album of the Year” category at the 2015 Grammys, Kanye almost gave viewers a flashback to his classic “Imma Let You Finish” VMAs speech. While Beck was accepting his award, Yeezy took it upon himself to run up on stage before laughing it off and walking back to his seat. Another video has since surfaced, this time of Yeezy scolding Beck for not “respecting artistry” and giving his award to Beyonce. SMH…What do YOU think about Yeezy’s Grammys stunt???

Henson. A number of people LOVED the show including “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes … and others were quick to draw comparisons to “Hustle And Flow”… and 50 Cent’s “Power.” Were you watching??? Meelah Williams Asked If She’s Ever Slept With Faith Evans’ Husband Todd TV One’s “R&B Divas” reunion is off to an explosive start thanks to Wendy Williams who’s asking some pretty crazy questions to the cast of singers. On part one of the reunion, things got especially heated when Williams asked Meelah of 702 fame about her ex-manager Todd who also happens to be the husband of Faith Evans. Before the latest season of “R&B Divas”, rumors were circulating that the Meelah and Faith had a “falling out” because of an inappropriate relationship between Todd and the 90s songstress. “That was my manager and before he was my manager, he’s like family. No,” said Williams about the chop down rumors. She then denied reports that her “friendship” with Evans had ended. “Who said it ended? The air date for “Betty And Coretta” has finally arrived. Will you be watching? Here’s some info via the AJC : …Lifetime finds a new angle: the friendship between their widows, Betty Shabazz and Coretta Scott King, after their husbands were assassinated during the turbulent 1960s. The film, “Betty & Coretta,” debuts at 8 tonight starring Academy Award-nominated actress Angela Bassett as King and R&B singer Mary J. Blige as Shabazz. Though Malcolm X and King were not particularly close, the widows found common ground starting in the early 1970s as single mothers with history-making spouses. Their ties grew stronger over the years until Shabazz’s death in 1997 from a tragic fire set by her grandson. They even took a spa vacation together. Larry Sanitsky, an executive producer for the film, considered King “the Jackie Kennedy of the civil rights movement.” The film conveys how she embraced her husband’s legacy. Bassett, who actually played Shabazz in the acclaimed 1992 film “Malcolm X” starring Denzel Washington, told ABC News that King considered her role “a God-given purpose, a calling on her life.” King’s activism inspired Shabazz to become more vocal in the movement as well. “These women were going through some horrible trials, and they were so strong,” Blige said in a recent news conference. “It’s good for Coretta that she stepped out and she made Martin’s voice heard; she made her own voice heard, and so did Betty.” Actress Ruby Dee, who was friends with both of them, narrates the movie. It was filmed in Montreal, which masqueraded as New York and Atlanta, among other cities. Sanitsky said he was thrilled Lifetime chose to air this film, in a move “not driven by numbers or working the headlines.
