NY Jets Chairman Offers To Pay Protest Fines While the NFL is aiming to demand that all players stand for the national anthem with “discipline” for grown-azz men in the form of strict fines…one team boss isn’t standing for it. NY Jets Chairman and CEO Christopher Johnson says his team has his support, regardless of if they choose to protest the anthem. According to NYPost , Johnson has said that the team will stand behind players who may choose to kneel , and will not issue any team fines. As he said in a statement: “I plan to sit in the very near term with Coach (Todd) Bowles and our players to discuss today’s decision regarding the National Anthem,” Johnson said in a statement. As I have in the past, I will support our players wherever we land as a team. Our focus is not on imposing any Club rules, fines, or restrictions. Instead we will continue to work closely with our players to constructively advance social justice issues that are important to us. I remain extremely proud of how we demonstrated unity last season as well as our players’ commitment to strengthening our communities.” And as he told Newsday , if the league imposes the fine themselves, the team will eat it. “I do not like imposing any club-specific rules. If somebody (on the Jets) takes a knee, that fine will be borne by the organization, by me, not the players. I never want to put restrictions on the speech of our players. Do I prefer they stand? Of course. But I understand if they feel the need to protest. There are some big, complicated issues that we’re all struggling with, and our players are on the front lines. I don’t want to come down on them like a ton of bricks, and I won’t. There will be no club fines or suspensions or any sort of repercussions. If the team gets fined, that’s just something I’ll have to bear.” Nice. How many teams do you think will follow suit? Getty

For The Old-Heads: Nickelodeon Reveals Plans To Bring Back “Double Dare” Game Show This Summer

Nickelodeon To Bring Back ‘Double Dare’ For those of you old enough to recall Nickelodeon’s OG “slime” days, there’s some good nostalgia on the horizon. According to TMZ , the kids’ network plans to dust off a classic for a new generation of kids to enjoy. Double Dare, the classic game show where two teams faced off on trivia questions and subsequent physical challenges — typically covering themselves in loads of slime and other unidentifiable goo in the process — will return in a few short weeks. If that weren’t enough, original host Mark Summers will be back in the driver’s seat. He won’t be the host this time around, as he’s in his mid-60’s at this point, but he will have Executive Producer credit and an on-camera role, for those of you watching the game show you grew up on with kids of your own at this point. The original show ran from 1986-1993, with a couple years of reruns thereafter, and a reboot arriving back in 2000 called “Double Dare 2000.” So for those of you who have no idea what we’re talking about here…that’s probably why. We wonder…will they’ll still be giving out BK Diamond Cells as grand prizes? Getty

Royal Scammery? Authorities Think Meghan Markle’s Half-Sister May Have Faked Her Dramatic Paparazzi Crash

Meghan Markle’s Sister Likely Faked Crash Story Remember when we told you how Meghan Markle’s hater half-sister was hospitalized after being run off the road by thirsty paparazzi? She claimed to have swerved and hit a concrete barrier while trying to escape gossip-rag shutterbugs, a la Princess Diana. Well, there now appear to be a few holes in her story — at least as far as the Florida Highway Patrol is involved. According to Daily Mail , there seems to be virtually no evidence that an accident of the sort ever actually occurred. Samantha Markle (formerly Grant, but reverted to her birth name only…recently) and her boyfriend Mark Phillips, who was reportedly driving at the time, claim they swerved at a toll booth and hit a concrete embankment when a paparazzi car swerved in front of them in an attempt to get pictures. Samantha claimed to have suffered a broken ankle and fractured knee after slamming into the windshield and crashing to the floor mat. But things seem fishy, at best. For one, the state patrol has no record of any of their barriers or bridge walls being struck by a vehicle, and if it is true as they say and Mark failed to report it to police, he could be charged with a hit and run . Secondly, there are no toll booths in Samantha’s hometown of Ocala, where she and Mark were allegedly driving. However, even if they happened to be at a toll booth in a surrounding area…none have reports of any recent accident incidents. Lastly, the minivan in which they allegedly got into this supposed accident is virtually scratch and dent-free, outside of normal wear and tear…which doesn’t fall in line with driving headfirst into a concrete wall. Mind you, Samantha is the same sister that barely knows Meghan to begin with who has been running to the media with all sorts of sideways isht to say about the Princess-to-be since the engagement. So…we’re taking this accident story as yet another desperate cry for attention. Splash/Getty

A choleric cholesterol consuming colonizer got a rude awakening when she thought it’d be cute to call the cops on a black family minding their business. A YouTube video from a woman named Michelle Snider has gone viral after showing the imbecilic actions of a white woman who summoned the police to a park alongside Oakland, California’s Lake Merritt. According to the white woman, it was illegal for them to be using a charcoal grill in that area of the park. Snider, a fellow white woman, then confronted the woman before the unnamed woman burst into unseasoned tears when police showed up. “Are you sure it’s not because you don’t want black people out here,” said Snider. “It seems like a new Jim Crow going on, because for some reason, every time I see this, it’s black people being targeted for barbecuing at the lake,” Snider retorted. “And you’re a perfect example of it right now. It’s two men, sitting out here just chilling. And this whole setup is real clean. They’re not even playing music.” Please watch the entire video to see the hypocrisy of this bored, Cyclops glasses wearing azz beyotch in action. WTF: 14-Year-Old High School Student Collapses During Gym Class And Dies

Getty Images Freshman Collapses During Gym Class And Later Dies A 14-year-old student collapsed and later died during his gym class at a New Jersey high school on Tuesday morning. The Franklin Township School district confirmed that the student was unresponsive following the incident, which happened on the school’s football field  just after 9 a.m. After the student falling to the ground, the staff performed CPR, and the boy was then rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead a short time later. School officials have confirmed that counseling is being provided to both staff and students following the incident. The school district released the following statement: “At approximately 9:10 am during a physical education class on the field of Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ, a 14-year-old male ninth grade student became unresponsive. 911 was called and the physical education staff of the high school immediately began CPR.The Franklin Township Police Department arrived and the student was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick via ambulance.At approximately 11:15 am, we learned that the student had passed away. We are providing counseling to our staff and students.Our thoughts and prayers go out to the student’s family at this time.” The name of the student has not been released, an officials haven’t said what activities students were doing when the boy collapsed. The cause of death remains under investigation.
