The Finneeeesse: Woman Scores A $10,000 Voucher From United Airlines For Giving Up Her Seat

Robert Alexander/Getty Images United Airlines Passenger Scored a Voucher Worth $10K A woman in Washington, D.C . is going down in the history books for the most legendary finesse of all time. She put every other customer service offer to shame by scoring a $10,000 voucher from United Airlines. Yep, $10,000. She’s a legend. But as you might be able to predict, Allison Preiss said that getting the airline to cough up the dough was no easy feat. Preiss was on her way from Washington Dulles International Airport to Austin, Texas on Thursday morning when the airline staff starting asking passengers to volunteer their seats on the overbooked flight. As per usual, nobody volunteered, and when that happened, the airline told Preiss that she had to forfeit her seat, because she had paid the lowest fare. Obviously, Allison was pretty annoyed, so she took to Twitter to vent about the incident. After that, one airline worker tried to backpedal and completely change the situation, telling Preiss that she was only bumped because the plane had a broken seat. . @united offering $1K in travel credit for an oversold flight. If nobody bites, they will kick off the lowest fare passenger by pulling them out of the boarding line. For a flight that THEY oversold. They first they offered her a $2,000 voucher, but Preiss declined and said she’d prefer a check. As they were about to write her a check for $650, one agent offered her a seat on the next plane and a $10,000 voucher. This offer is in line with the airline’s new cap for passengers who offer up their seats, which was raised back in April 2017, following a passenger being dragged off a plane for refusing to forfeit his seat. Image via St. Louis County Police Ex-Grad Student Arrested For Raping Male Students At Gunpoint A former graduate student at the University of Missouri has been arrested for forcibly sodomizing a male student at gunpoint after breaking into his on-campus apartment. According to RFT , 23-year-old Devonta Bagley ran into the room at 4 a.m. late Sunday night and threatened the victim with the gun and raped him. He was later arrested by St. Louis County police, charged with sodomy, first-degree burglary and two counts of armed criminal action. Bagley is currently being held on $500,000 bond. What makes this story even more disturbing is that this isn’t Bagley’s first go round with raping men. Last year, just 2 months after graduating for Kansas State University, Bagley raped a student there at gunpoint. He was charged with aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated burglary. For God’s sake, keep this guy off the streets! If you don’t want to protect students from gun violence the least you protect them from being ra-…oh, yeah. SMH.

Busy Lady: Rumor Has It Aubrey O’Day May Have ALSO Let Russell Simmons Into Her Show Stopper Skivvies

Did Aubrey O’Day Smash Russell Simmons? Aubrey O’Day apparently was never too shy to pick up a new, highly successful boo while on the job. After news broke that she had an affair with Donald Trump, Jr. toward the end of her time on Celebrity Apprentice, Page Six uncovered an old podcast she appeared on where she detailed an affair with yet ANOTHER man she met on a reality show set. While appearing on the “Risk!” podcast back 2012, A ubrey revealed that she and a man she would not name shared a flirtation while she was filming an unnamed reality show. She describes how after the finale she and the man went for it in a nearby bathroom… “I was walking through the hallways and got pulled into this bathroom, and he threw me up against the wall and looked at me for two seconds and then we started making out like crazy… …he goes to rip off my dress and…he’s like ‘Holy f–k — I’ve never seen Spanx that big in my life!’” O’day said that she and the man began a relationship, including lots of phone sex and Skype sex. He even called her “Spanky,” due to the big ol’ drawls she had on the first time they hooked up in a public bathroom. However, she knew things couldn’t last. “Like, I think I’m great, but he hangs out with, like, Victoria’s Secret models, he’s at dinner with huge celebrities, he runs with the biggest agents and managers and like, he’s the s–t. So I can’t really trust this person. We’re from different worlds.” But who could this man be? Well, in addition to appearing on ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ Aubrey showed face in two episodes of Russell’s (somewhat obscure) 2010 reality show, ‘Running Russell Simmons.’ As such, folks are speculating that this was the model-loving mogul she spoke about. Given the new info we’ve all gotten on Russell in the last few months and how familiar that sounds to how he’s (allegedly) gotten down in the past …it could be true. Of course, Russell’s people tell Page Six he isn’t the man in the story. “Russell Simmons never had an intimate relationship with Aubrey O’Day. Tamar Braxton Demands Edits To New Season Of Braxton Family Values Sources tell TMZ that Tamar supposedly believes that her mother and sisters are deliberately painting an unfair picture of her husband as a bad guy on the show, in an effort to destroy his public image. Of course, Tamar herself accused Vince of having an affair behind her back and an entire side baby — publicly, on social media — before suddenly taking it all back a few months later. But we digress… Either way, Tamar thinks that while cameras were catching her and Vince’s actual divorce process …her family was busy drumming up false storylines on the side to turn Vince into a villain. As such, she is refusing to do any promo for the upcoming season of “Braxton Family Values,” and will not do so until production edits out all scenes that she feels are unfair and untruthful. As previously reported Ronald Gasser, the man witnesses say stood over the former NFL player’s lifeless body after a road rage shooting, was facing a second-degree murder charge. Now after Gasser was found guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter, he’s been sentenced to 30 years. NOLA.com reports that Jefferson Parish Judge Ellen Kovach sentenced Ronald Gasser to 30 years in prison for gunning down McKnight after a five-mile, mutual road rage-fueled chase. The judge also admonished both men for the incident. “Let this be a cautionary tale to all driver who rage behind the wheel of their car at other drivers,” said Kovach. “The tragedy could have been avoided if either man “had the good sense, the courage and the wisdom to simply disengage.” Gasser was facing 40 years behind bars. Briana Brochu To Have Record Wiped Of Harassing Jazzy Rowe Remember the case of Chennel “Jazzy” Rowe, a Black college student at University of Hartford whose White roommate spent months spitting in her body oils , rubbing her used tampons on her backpack, and other disgusting atrocities? Well, it looks like she won’t face a criminal record for any of that. Brianna Brochu, the Caucasian in question, has already avoided hate crime charges behind her secretion sneak-attack on her roommate. Now, she’s been granted an “accelerated rehabilitation” that will allow her to move past the situation altogetherm without a criminal record, in exchange for a little community service time. Jazzy herself was on-hand for today’s hearing where Brochu’s lawyer suggested the arrangement, and let the judge know that she did not oppose Brochu’s request for an accelerated rehabilitation. As she told the Hartford Courant , she hoped that this experience gave her the opportunity to see with new eyes. “By giving her this second chance, I hope she will change her ways and finds love for all mankind no matter what race.” In the meantime, Brochu will only have to complete 200 hours of community service and avoid getting into any other type of trouble. If she can manage that, her record will be wiped clean in two years. Brochu has already lost her scholarship, been kicked out of college, and lost her job…not to mention the fact that her face and name will forever be associated with this nasty, weird incident.
