Questlove Sued By “Tonight Show” Staffers Fired Over Racist Texts A group text featuring some half-eaten fried chicken and a pretty predictable racial slur cost two “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” got two white cameramen fired from their jobs last summer…and they say it’s specifically because they’re white, and it’s all Questlove’s fault . Page Six reports that cameramen Kurt Decker and Michael Cimino each received the offensive text from an unidentified stagehand on June 19, 2017. The thing is…Roots bassist Mark Kelly was a part of the same group chat and wasn’t quite feeling the joke. In their lawsuit, the cameramen claim they both declined to respond to the message, which was received in the middle of the taping, and told their superiors they had nothing to do with it once filming was done. However, they were each placed on suspension the next day. They claim they were later fired after Questlove personally made a case to have them cut over their association with the racist text…however Mark Kelly faced no penalties for receiving it. How they figure a Black man would manage to get fired after receiving an unsolicited racist text against African Americans, we aren’t quite sure. However, the men feel that they were fired due to their whiteness. However, NBC says they have strict guidelines in place to keep discrimination out of the workplace …and the fact that they didn’t immediately report the text or its sender were violations of the code. Nelly’s Rape Accuser Wants To Get A Court Order To Force Him To Keep His Peen At Bay From Unwilling Women

Nelly’s Rape Accuser Moves To Have Judge Ban Him From Assaulting Women Nelly’s rape accuser is trying to make sure that Nelly keeps his peen away from unwilling women from now on. According to TMZ , Monique Greene has formally filed docs requesting that the judge legally bind Nelly from doing to other women what she says he did to her. As you surely know by now, Nelly’s accuser dropped her criminal case against the rapper , citing that the scrutiny from the public and threats from Nelly’s team were too much for her. Nelly admitted to sleeping with the woman without a condom and corroborated her claim that he tossed her $100 upon her distressed exit from the tour bus. Now, Greene claims that Nelly’s behavior is part of his routine of sexual assault against “beautiful women of color” that he handpicks from his concerts. She claims that he’ll have his entourage select women with “with beautiful faces and curvy figures” to invite backstage. She also claims that Nelly “is particularly attracted to women who were resistant.” Monique claims that later in the evening, Nelly will expose himself and masturbate in front of the women “with the expectation that presenting himself would entitle him to sexual gratification and that the women were drawn to and could not resist his penis.” She says Nelly “sexually accosts and/or assaults” the women who resist, and eventually ejaculates on the woman’s body. If you’re wondering how Greene knows Nelly’s drill so well, she claims she is now personally aware of at least 2 other women who went through the same thing she did with him. She says one claims that the rapper put his hand up her dress, and the other says he forced her to perform oral sex, then called her a “c-word” when she finally was able to get herself off of him. YIKES. We wonder if these other women will come forward with their own stories as well, or if the judge will have to go off of her word alone for this somewhat odd request… Splash/WENN

J. Holiday Lashes Out At Beyonce, SZA, And Cardi B. For Getting Grammy Noms Remember J. Holiday? We’re guessing probably not. So if you need a reminder, once upon a time he had a song called “Bed” that was actually a song by The-Dream and was really popular on urban radio for a few months back in 2007. Anyway, he just randomly resurfaced a few days ago with a few gripes about Black women using their “pain” in their songs to turn it into musical success and leaving Black men in the dust of disrespect by calling them out on their BS…or something. It wasn’t quite that clear what point he was trying to convey besides his own saltiness as an R&B one-hit-has-been. In his rant, he basically blames Beyonce , SZA, and Cardi B for being so good at what they do that they leave no room for Black men to come get the shine they deserve. We guess. “So apparently the Black men still losing to the women—I get it. No disrespect, I was raised by a woman, I have two older sisters, man, I have absolute, all respect for Black women. But with that being said, understand this, man: Black men, African-American men, men from the hood, we go through everything to make sure that who we care about are taken care of. [We] don’t swing d**ks around…don’t do all this bullsh*t to be seen. I got daughters, man. Beyoncé, Cardi B, SZA—all y’all motherf**kers—stop using that f*cking pain to make it OK to say some bullsh*t on your record, and get nominated for a Grammy for going through some bullsh*t. Because so have I as a Black motherf**king man.” O…K… Perhaps if J. Holiday channeled some of his OWN pain into some music he might have a career in the modern age ? Furthermore…he seemed to have missed the part where Jay-Z was nominated 8 times and Kendrick Lamar nominated another 7 for doing exactly that this year. Plus, singers like Mali Music, Khalid, Childish Gambino (singing on his latest), The Weeknd and Burno Mars all snagged noms. So what he’s talking about…we aren’t too sure. What do YOU think of J. 50 Cent Is Sitting On A Bitcoin Fortune Leave it to 50 to catch a wave early. According to TMZ , back in 2014, 50 was the first rapper ever to accept bitcoin for the sale of his album, Animal Ambition . Customers could get their hands on his music for a fraction of a bitcoin, which was valued at around $662 per coin at the time. He ultimately made about 700 bitcoin in sales, which at the time amounted to about $400,000. The bitcoin laid dormant in 50’s account for the last 4 years. Now, fast-forward to today, and bitcoin is worth nearly $11,000 per unit. That means, 50 is basically sitting on about $7.6 million, if he decides to sell it at current value. Alabama Teacher Uses Slur After Hearing Students Bumping Tupac A teacher has been placed on paid leave after hurling the N-word to describe music that was playing in her classroom. Food & Nutrition teacher Teddie Butcher allows her class to play music as they work on projects but when a student hit the play button on Tupac’s “Dear Mama” Butcher reportedly told the class to “turn the n*gger tunes off”. Claiming that she was upset by the foul language, many parents of students at Hoover High School have stepped forward to refute this by saying there is no vulgar or inappropriate lyrics in the song. Butcher apologized to the students in her class but many don’t feel it was genuine stating “After meeting with her, it’s just baffling to me how someone does not understand the severity of the weight of that word.” There was a video of Butcher making the statement but the school made students delete the evidence of her using the slur.

If you’ve been keeping up with “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” then know that the RHOA O.G. and fellow O.G. Kandi Burruss had a nasty back and forth after Kim alluded to Kandi offering her oral sex. Now after Kandi called her a “f*** liar” who she’s “not even attracted to”, Kim’s explaining what she really meant by her “wouldn’t let her lick my box” comment.
