We may never know exactly why Kim Richards shoplifted items from Target earlier this month. But the store has now released an incident report of the alleged event, which led to the troubled star’s latest arrest, and it at least gives us an idea of how Richards shoplifted items from Target. View Slideshow: 20 Really Big Real Housewives Scandals According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, Richards initially grabbed some reusable bags from the Van Nuys location of this chain. She then loaded them up with merchandise from the dollar section, tossing in various kinds of toys and accessories. Target goes on to explain that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star placed the bags in a shopping cart and drove said cart to the the express line… simply leaving it there without checking out. Richards told the clerk the items had already been paid for. She then grabbed another cart, eschewed any bags this time around and filled up the cart with toys and beauty products. Kim proceeded to push both her carts out of the store, got about three feet past the front door and was apprehended by a security guard who took her to a booking room. Once there, Kim claimed she didn’t recall whether or not she had paid for the items (which totaled approximately $600). The police were called in and they placed Richards under arrest. Richards, who has battled a substance abuse problem for years, is also now allegedly facing some major financial problems. It may not explain why she would steal an endless array of toys, but a recent report claims Richards is homeless and living out of her car.

Misty Copeland Becomes First Black Female Principal Ballerina Misty Copeland has made incredible leaps and bounds for women of color in dance world but the ballerina has made another historic achievement…. Via USA Today : Misty Copeland made history this week when she was promoted to principal dancer of the American Ballet Theater, making her the first African American woman to hold the position in the company’s 75-year history. Copeland has spoken candidly about issues of race in the ballet world before, which earned her a great deal of new fans and introduced more people to ballet, and her performances were some of the most popular at the company in the past few years. She also appeared in a wildly popular Under Armour commercial that settled the question of whether or not ballet was a sport. “My fears are that it could be another two decades before another black woman is in the position that I hold with an elite ballet company,” she wrote in her memoir, “Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina,” published last year. “That if I don’t rise to principal, people will feel I have failed them.” Copeland, 32, had fans waiting for her outside the Met when the decision was first announced. Finally, some good news for Leah Messer. It seems Jeremy Calvert’s new girlfriend, Brooke Wehr , will not be appearing in the new season of Teen Mom, even though Calvert will continue to be a featured cast member. “Brooke won’t be appearing on the show, not even a quick cameo,” a source close to Calvert, 27, tells Radar. “He learned his lesson from his crazy marriage to Leah, and doesn’t want all the attention to ruin the relationship.” Producers say Calvert and Leah’s first husband Corey Simms will continue to make appearances, and they’ve teased her upcoming storyline as one of the show’s most dramatic to date. We’ve already seen a clip in which Leah’s drug abuse is exposed in shocking fashion, and the season will reportedly focus on the 23-year-old single mom’s reluctant decision to check into rehab. With all the drama surrounding Leah at the moment, we can’t imagine how producers would’ve even made time for a storyline about Calvert’s new romance. There’s no word yet on whether or not Leah’s new boyfriend, Theodore “T.R.” Dues , will be making an appearance when the show returns to MTV on July 9.
