Global consulting giant Accenture dumped cheating golf legend Tiger Woods yesterday, saying he is “no longer the right representative” of the company. Woods’ firing by Accenture will cost him $7 million a year

It began Ryan inquiring about White House social secretary Desiree Rogers’ role at the recent state dinner – site of Tareq and Michaele Salahi’s party crashing . April Ryan brought up whispers around Washington that Rogers had overstepped her role event, among other observations Robert Gibbs found too tabloid-y.

Poll: 51%, majority of Americans support Obama’s Afghan strategy

A narrow majority of Americans support President Obama's revamped strategy on Afghanistan, according to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken Wednesday, but there are broad concerns that the costs of the war will sap the government's ability to address problems facing the nation at home. Though the results underscore a significant selling job ahead for the White House, they also show a willingness by Democratic voters to back Obama despite their reservations about the war.
