According to TMZ , Judges in A$AP Rocky’s assault case have found him guilty. However he will not be facing additional jail time. Source: Brown County Sheriff's Office / Brown County Sheriff's Office Man Sentenced 3 Years In Prison For Wife’s Meth-Filled “Death Party” There’s probably a much less poisonous and criminal way to celebrate the death of your spouse. According to NYDailyNews , 59-year-old Duane Johnson was sentenced to 3 years in prison yesterday after pleading guilty to criminal neglect and 3rd degree murder of his 69-year-old wife Debra Johnson. See, Debra lived in a nursing home and she told Duane she wanted to be removed so that she could die at home after some “partying”. The couple used meth for 5 days, had sex, and listened to their favorite song Quiet Riot’s “Metal Health”. Duane was found butt-a$$ naked next to his wife’s dead body back on January 24 this year. Debra’s autopsy revealed her cause of death as “methamphetamine toxicity”. Duane likely would have gotten more time but the judge gave him credit for the 201 days served. This case took place in Minnesota but if we didn’t know any better we’d swear it’s Florida.
Forgive the most obvious pun in content writing history, but… … it turns out that Todd Chrisley does NOT actually know best. Or, perhaps the reality star does know best, if the subject at hand is how to try and avoid paying one’s taxes. This perfect segue is relevant because the veteran USA Network and his wife, Julie, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for tax evasion, as well as other financial crimes, according to local news station WSBTV. The indictment includes a dozen charges. Among the most serious? Wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States. In a statement obtained by People Magazine on Tuesday, Todd’s lawyer, Bruce H. Morris and Stephen Friedberg, said the following: “The allegations contained in the indictment are based on complete falsehoods. The Chrisleys are innocent of all charges.” The embattled couple rose to fame as the patriarch and matriarch of Chrisley Knows Best, a reality show that basically just chronicles their lives — and the lives of their three kids — as very rich residents of Atlanta and then Nashville. It has run for seven seasons and recently debuted a spinoff called “Growing Up Chrisley,” starring a pair of these Chrisley children. According to Radar Online, however, executives have chosen not to sign Todd and Julie to new contracts, effectively canceling their long-running series. This website source claims producers have “decided to distance themselves as much as possible” from Todd and Juli,e as well as their children Savannah, Chase and Grayson. For the record, though, USA has not yet issued a statement to confirm this move. In an Instagram post Monday, a day before the 12 charges were filed, Todd insisted that he and his wife had done nothing wrong. He wrote a lengthy message that started as follows: “I’ve never talked about this publicly before, but there’s been a cloud hanging over Julie and me and our entire family for the past seven years. It all started back in 2012, when we discovered that a trusted employee of ours had been stealing from us big time.” While Chrisley said that he wouldn’t “go into details,” he alleged that the case “involved all kinds of really bad stuff like creating phony documents, forging our signatures, and threatening other employees with violence if they said anything.” And he continued: We even discovered that he illegally bugged our home. Needless to say, we fired the guy and took him to court — and that’s when the real trouble started. To get revenge, he took a bunch of his phony documents to the U.S. Attorney’s office and told them we had committed all kinds of financial crimes, like tax evasion and bank fraud. That got their attention all right, but once we had a chance to explain who he was and what he’d done to us, they realized it was all a bunch of nonsense and they sent him on his way. After delving into a few other details about how this indictment came to be, Todd concluded: “We know we’ve done nothing wrong… “I’m telling you all this now because we have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of. Not only do we know we’ve done nothing wrong, but we’ve got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it.” Shortly after Todd released this statement, daughter Savannah Chrisley left a supportive comment. “Thank you for being YOU! You have and always will be the glue that holds us all together. God has a much bigger plan for all of us and this is just part of it,” she wrote. We can’t say for sure whether or not Chrisley is guilty. But he’s just the latest wealthy reality star to get in trouble with the law over major financial issues. Both Abby Lee Miller of Dance Moms and Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey spent time in jail for their roles in illegal monetary schemes.
Some TV couples suck. There , we said it. Despite trying to push some couples to endgame status, some are very clearly not that into each other. The Hollywood Gossip has rounded up 13 couples who have a grand total of zero chemistry. Sorry … not sorry. 1. Kara and Mon-El – Supergirl Mon-El was one of the worst characters on Supergirl, and it was largely because the producers tried to put force them together. Mon-El was officially exiled from the series about a year after his debut. 2. Jackson and Maggie – Grey’s Anatomy Jackson and Maggie were believable as friends, but not so much as a couple. They need to give up on their relationship, or they run the risk of not being friends ever again. 3. Ray and Felicity – Arrow On a show that’s all about the relationship between Oliver and Felicity, Felicity’s short-lived relationship with Ray felt like a mere plot device to throw in some drama. There was a severe lack of chemistry between the characters. 4. George and Izzie – Grey’s Anatomy George pursued Izzie pretty much from the get-go on Grey’s Anatomy, but there was nothing there, and fans picked up on that. It’s just a shame that Shonda Rhimes did not. 5. Zelena and Hades – Once Upon a Time Just when it seemed like Zelena was on the road to becoming one of the good guys, she decided to embark on a relationship with Hades. It was … tedious. Two villains don’t make a right. 6. Bill and Sookie – True Blood Bill and Sookie were the central couple on this HBO series, but fans were shipping Sookie and Eric from the get-go. Unfortunately, reality stars Todd and wife Julie Chrisley learned that the hard way on Tuesday after a grand jury indicted them on tax evasion charges.According to reports , Todd tried to launch a preemptive strike against a looming federal indictment, so officials went ahead and charged the couple with multiple federal crimes. The indictment, which was filed in the Northern District of Georgia, charged both Julie and Todd with 11 counts related to bank fraud and tax evasion. If convicted, the couple could face up to 30 years behind bars. The Blast , who broke the story, reports: “Officials claim Todd and Julie set up a production company, called 7C’s Productions, which served as a loan-out company for all the money earned through their popular reality show, “Chrisley Knows Best,” which airs on the USA Network. The documents claim millions of dollars were deposited into the production company account over the years, but the reality stars did not file tax returns in time for 2014, 2015 or 2016.” The couple has yet to speak out since the charges dropped, but Todd did post a cryptic message on Instagram before the news broke.
