Lavar Ball RARELY misses an opportunity to embarrass himself on the national stage and today his penchant for playing himself shined bright on ESPN. Ball appeared on First Take with Stephen A. Mnuchin stated that the release would be delayed due to new security features being developed, which he said would push the release back six years to 2026. A source from the Treasury office told the New York Times that Mnuchin really delayed the release because he feared that Trump would interfere with the $20 bill seeing the light of day. Mnuchin denies these allegations. Another unnamed source from the bureau said they viewed a digital image and metal engraving plate of the $20 bill and confirmed that the design looks almost complete. Len Olijar, the director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, echoed Mnuchin and claimed that the bureau “was never going to unveil a note design in 2020.” He added that releasing the $20 bill next year will make it vulnerable for counterfeiters and that the image of the bill that has been leaked doesn’t have any of the needed security features. Jana Duggar: I Need to Find a Man Like Jim Bob!

If you only know one thing about Jana Duggar, it’s probably that she’s unmarried. That wouldn’t be a big deal for most 29-year-olds, but the fact that  Jana is still single  just a few months shy of 30 is highly unusual for a woman in her community. Duggar women are taught from a young age that procreation is one of their two main reasons for being. (The other being religious devotion, of course.) Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are devotees of the Quiverfull movement and its disgraced founder, Bill Gothard . Gothard teaches that it’s the job of every Christian to produce as many offspring as possible with the goal of eventually overwhelming the rest of the population and creating a Christian planet. As a result, within the Duggars’ community, there’s a tendency to look at a woman who’s “squandered” so many child-bearing years with curiosity … or even contempt. Even Jim Bob has stated that he can’t understand why Jana hasn’t found the right guy . We’re sure he meant to be sympathetic, but knowing that you’re a source of constant befuddlement to your own family has got to be a pretty lonely feeling. Anyway, in spite of the subtle shade and the fact that she’s basically treated like a household slave , Jana still thinks her dad is the best thing since floor-length denim skirts, and she reminded the world of her love for Jim Bob in a recent Instagram post. “Happy Father’s Day to the most wonderful Dad in the whole WORLD!” began Jana’s lengthy caption for the photo above: “My Dad is the one who has taught me so many skills—from tiling floors, basic plumbing & electrical, painting, and car maintenance, to how to get the best deals. He taught me how to drive, helped me buy my first car, and has let me try my hand at design on his different real estate projects… even if it means spending a little more time and money to correct something I’ve messed up on (sometimes we learn by trial and error). “Dad has taught me so much as we work on different projects! Whether it’s designing a home or business space, picking out paint colors, flooring, windows or doors, he’s the mastermind, and I love learning from him and doing projects together with him!!” If you thought Jana was done, you’ve got another thing coming: “Dad is a giver. Always giving of his own goods and supplies without expecting anything in return,” Jana continued. “He’s the first one to start a party no matter the occasion.” (Editor’s note: We never really pictured Jim Bob as a party guy, but hey — life is full of surprises!) “He’s the one that pushes us out of our ‘comfort zone’ (for which I am grateful…. at times.) We all need one of those people in our lives!” Jana continued. “He is quick to ask for forgiveness. He is a humble man. A man of patience, kindness, compassion, determination, strong. He is the one that leads our family and points us to Christ no matter the circumstance. “He’s my Daddy and I’m his little girl. Couldn’t have prayed for a better Dad and can only hope to find a man like him to marry someday!!” “Daddy—Happy Father’s Day from your little girl! I love you so much!” she concluded. All of it is very nice, and we applaud Jana for laying her feeling out there so candidly in this age of irony. But everything the Duggars do gets scrutinized and dissected within an inch of its life, so even though Jana couldn’t have made herself any more clear, dozens of followers still zeroed in on the one line about possibly getting married someday. “I am in tears,” wrote one such fan. “What wonderful things to say in honor of your dad. I have no doubt God will bless you with a Godly man like your dad. Just thank God for that future husband of yours.” We suppose Jana sort of invited the speculation by alluding to the fact that she’s still single. Still, the obsession with this twentysomething’s marital status will never not be weird to us. Here’s hoping she’s not as hung up on when and if she’ll get married as her followers seem to be. Taylor Swift Dresses as French Fries, Embraces New Bestie… Katy Perry?!?

Taylor Swift has released the first video off her upcoming new album . It features an endless array of celebrities, along with a progressive and important political message… … but most folks are really just focused on the following screen capture from this footage. Yup. That’s a photo of Swift and Katy Perry dressed up as an order of french fries and a hamburger, respectively. The unexpected cameo by Perry in Swift’s music video for “You Need to Calm Down” comes days after Perry shared a photo online of a plate of cookies , which served as a symbol of peace between the long-time rivals. It’s been widely presumed these two had beef because Swift believed many years ago that Katy stole some backup dancers from her tour . Neither of these superstars ever confirmed this strong rumor, but Taylor wrote the single “Bad Blood” about Perry and Perry talked very openly over the years about how Swift tried to destroy her . But those days are apparently in the past. What has sent them to that place? It would appear to be a common cause. Both artists have been vocal supporters of the LGBTQ community and they share the screen in the video below, which debuted on Monday during Good Morning America and also during Pride Month. The video and the song represent Swift’s strongest political statement to date, and it seems as if she and Perry have ended their feud in order to get on the same page with it. “Let’s show our pride by demanding that, on a national level, our laws truly treat all our citizens equally,” reads an on-screen message at end of the video. “Please sign my petition for Senate support of the Equality Act on Change.org.” Taylor Swift – “You Need to Calm Down” The Equality Act, if passed, would amend the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Swift, who stunned attendees last Friday with a surprise performance at New York’s gay landmark Stonewall Inn, has released a vibrantly-colored video here. It features appearance by: Ellen Degeneres, Ryan Reynolds, Dexter Mayfield, Laverne Cox, Karamu Brown, Rupaul, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Billy Porter, Adam Lambert, Todrick Hall, Hayley Kiyoko, Chester Lockhart and Adam Rippon. Along with several others. The track’s lyrics also make Swift’s intentions very clear. To wit: “Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD?” she asks, echoing the last phrase for good measure. “Sunshine on the street at the parade/But you would rather be in the dark ages/Makin’ that sign must’ve taken all night.” Swift has become more vocal about her politics over the past year or so, likely as a response to Donald Trump’s election. For the first time in her career, she endorsed not one but two political candidates, Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, while they were running for the US Senate and House of Representatives in 2018. We can’t help but wonder if she’ll make her voice heard in the next Presidential election as well. Of course, now that her feud with Perry is over, only one question remains: When can we expect her and Kim Kardashians to dress up like a couple of milkshakes and embrace on camera? Never? Never, ever, ever, ever ? Oh, okay then.

Dude Named "Dildo Baggins" Bombards Fellow Southwest Passenger With Porn Via AirDrop

Flying can be a nightmare, and passengers can make that worst. That was one woman’s experience just a few days ago. Just last year, Southwest made an emergency landing due to one creepy dude. This time, their flight attendants were prepared. When a woman was being harassed by an anonymous fellow passenger, they leapt into action. A woman named Kat Pitman took a Southwest Airlines flight from Louisville to Chicago. The 40-year-old frequent flyer was lucky enough to secure an aisle seat. While Flight 1388 was still boarding, she spent time texting her husband on her iPhone. This is when she received an unexpected message — an AirDrop request. For those of you unaware, this is a way of sending things to nearby iPhone users based upon location, even if you do not know them. Unfortunately, this particular AirDrop was not a funny meme or a helpful piece of information. Instead, Kat was on the receiving end of a highly unsolicited, extremely NSFW image. It was porn. Some anonymous stranger, with whom she was trapped in a metal tube, had sent her porn. “It was just very explicit,” she told USA Today. “It just shocked me.” Understand that isn’t being a prude when she says this. This is about consent. There is a considerable difference between personally enjoying naked photos and having them forced upon you by a strange man. The first is the behavior of a normal person. The second is sometimes a prelude to stalking or a physical assault. As you can imagine, Kat immediately turned off AirDrop. However, after a moment, she gave it a second thought, and reactivated the function for a specific reason. She wanted to take a screenshot of the username of the creep who had sent her the unsolicited photo. By this point, the same user had sent her two additional unwanted messages. The user’s name, by the way, has been described as an nsfw twist on the The Lord of the Rings character, Bilbo Baggins. In other words: Dildo Baggins. Dude, you’re not creative. The short flight was still boarding at the time, so Kat took her concerns to a pair of flight attendants. She had mixed feelings about issuing a complaint, but it occurred to her that the offender might even be in her row. We’ve all heard horror stories of women being groped or otherwise harassed on a plane. She was afraid that things might escalate. “I know this sounds crazy …” Kat began. However, Southwest’s flight attendants knocked it out of the park with their response. It sounds like these flight attendants didn’t miss a beat. They listened to Kat’s concerns and one promptly used the intercom to address “Mr. Baggins.” The unidentified man was instructed to stop AirDropping. “There was no question,” Kat recalls. “They weren’t like, ‘What’s AirDrop?’ They just took care of it.” “They continued to check on me during the flight and as I left the flight,” Kat reveals. She gushes: “I just was incredibly impressed.” Southwest spokesman Chriz Mainz confirmed what went down, and issued a statement. “The safety and comfort of all of our customers is our highest concern,” the statement affirms. “And we don’t condone such inappropriate behavior.” “Our crews are equipped to respond quickly and appropriately to address these concerns expressed by our customers,” Mainz notes. He then praises: “which is exactly what they did in this case.” Airlines rarely receive good press these days, for a host of reasons. Duggar Family: Dodging Questions About Mary Duggar’s Drowning?

Earlier this month, we reported on the sad news that Mary Duggar had passed away at the age of 78. Given her advanced age, it was widely assumed that the mother of Jim Bob had died of natural causes — but that later proved not to be the case. We now know that Mary Duggar drowned , and the exact circumstances of her accidental death remain unclear. No foul play is suspected, and the Duggars have every right to keep the details of their loved one’s passing to themselves. But given how publicly members of the famous family have lived their lives over the past 20 years, it stands to reason that some fans would be surprised by what seems to be a joint decision to keep the specifics of Mary’s fatal accident under wraps. Fortunately, the Duggars haven’t shied away from talking about Mary’s life, just her death. Jill Duggar was the first to pay tribute to her late grandmother. And while Jill’s eulogy to Mary created controversy due to her decision to monetize the post, the situation did not prevent other Duggars from following suit. The latest to honor Mary’s memory on social media is Anna Duggar. Anna posted a video of her grandmother-in-law interacting with her daughter Merideth: Anna Duggar Pays Tribute to Mary Duggar “As I’ve talked with my children this week about their special memories of Great-Grandma, Meredith said she was going to miss singing for Grandma,” Anna captioned the post. “Dithy has such a special love with Great-Grandma as she always enjoyed time with her and singing for her—Great-Grandma would give undivided attention and was her biggest fan!” she continued. “Somehow Grandma kept up with each of us and always took the time to make each birthday, recital, baby shower or any other event (and all the “uneventful” days in between) special—she mastered the rare art of consistent praise! She lived well, loved much and is greatly missed.” A touching tribute, to be sure — but some fans remained fixated on the mysteries surrounding Mary’s passing. “How did she accidentally drown?” one follower asked, point-blank. Not surprisingly, Anna never replied to the comment. We get the feeling the Duggars will continue to present a united front on this one. Florida Man Stole Pool Floats to Satisfy Twisted Desires

Nobody knows how to have a good time (and then get arrested for it) like Florida Man . But if you’re looking to liven up your summer pool party, definitely don’t invite Christopher Monnin. The 35-year-old Floridian was arrested for stealing dozens of pool floats around the Palm Bay area. Why pool floats? Well, to have sex with them, of course! According to the  Miami Herald , the Palm Bay Police Department suspect Monnin is behind a whole crime wave of missing pool toys. An estimated 13 cases of stolen floats have been reported in the Palm Bay area just this year. “The city has been plagued with burglaries,” police told the  Herald , During these burglaries, police explained, “the suspect cuts the screen or otherwise enters a victim’s back pool deck area and steals only pool floats.” That’s right,  only pool floats. Florida man knows what he wants, and he wants a lot of it. According to the affidavit, Monnin broke into some of the homes multiple times, but residents didn’t report the theft to Police until the second or third instance. Police finally stopped Monnin as a suspicious person on Thursday, June 13, around 1:30 in the morning. At the time, Monnin was riding his bike down the steet with a white garbage bag full of deflated pool toys.  At that point, it was a pretty safe bet that police had apprehended the correct culprit. To his credit, Monnin confessed quickly during questioning, stating that he had stolen “many floats.” Monnin added that he had been storing the stolen pool floats at a vacant house across the street from his own residence. We’d love to tell you that Monnin was simply gearing up for the pool party of the century, but this man does not have a pool, and the reality is much darker. Monnin allegedly told police he “sexually gratifies himself with the floats.” According to Monnin, he “does this instead of raping women.”  This mind-boggling admission only raises further questions, such as, WTF, Florida man? In what way is a pool float a substitute for a human woman? What kind of floats has he been stealing? Does he have a type? We’re not sure we even want to know. Monnin soon led the police to the vacant dwelling he’d converted into his pool toy love shack.  Here, police reportedly recovered roughly 75 pool floats of varying shapes and sizes, so let that sink in.  This man was keeping a veritable harem of inflatable mates.  Monnin’s collection of pool toys could fully stock the outdoor department of a store that only sells things no one should ever touch again. Police found several distinctive floats among Monnin’s ill-gotten collection, including a large yellow duck, and a float shaped like a piece of bacon. He also had a float shaped like a sliced watermelon, and a Shaquile O’Neil branded inflatable lounger, along with other lounge chair style floats. Monnin, already an ex-con with a history of burglary, may have topped his rap sheet with this ridiculous and troubling crime spree. But at least he was cooperative with police, and thankfully, he is not accused of actually raping any women. Monin was ultimately charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, petit theft, and criminal mischief. He’s currently being held at Brevard County Jail, where his bond sits at $16,000. Monin’s reign of madness may have come to an end, but there’s plenty of summer time left for mre shenanigans from the Sunshine State. Party on, Florida Man.
