According to reports, the man saw Xan at the gas station and thought it would a good time to call him out on his previous comments about Tupac Shakur’s music being “boring.” The video begins when the exchange had already escalated, and while the two men were far enough away from each other and the guy seemed to be walking away, Xan pulls out a gun. This has confused everyone who thought Khaled would be gracious in his second-place finish. Yet when he released a now-deleted video sending subs at Tyler’s album and then going so far as to sue Billboard over it, he turned into the “they” he has always hated. Now, things have been rectified and his album is actually number one, but that has only made the slander worse. Source: Patrick McMullan / Getty Linda Fairtein Calls Netflix’s ‘When They See Us’ An “Outright Fabrication” The main woman responsible for incarcerating five innocent teens is, of course, still defending her atrocious actions. In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal , former Manhattan District Attorney’s office prosecutor Linda Fairstein slammed When They See Us , the Netflix mini-series based on the Central Park Five case. Fairstein argues that the four-part series omits crucial details, including a “riot” involving more than 30 people that allegedly went down on April 19, 1989 — the same date of the attack on the Central Park jogger Trisha Meili. Fairstein claims that reporters and Ava DuVernay have only focused on the five accused teens and the one victim in the jogger attack, not the riot. Not sh**. The movie is about the CENTRAL PARK FIVE and the JOGGER CASE. Anywaaays, Fairstein went on to say that the movie missed “the larger picture of that terrible night: a riot in the dark that resulted in the apprehension of more than 15 teenagers who set upon multiple victims.” She continued that on that night “eight others were attacked, including two men who were beaten so savagely that they required hospitalization for head injuries.” She then argues that there’s compelling evidence that the Central Park five were involved in the “riot.” Again, what’s that got to do with the jogger case????????? The one in which Matias Reyes was proven to be Meili’s attacker thanks to a confession and DNA evidence. But Fairstein kept on about the OTHER alleged attacks that happened that night: “The other charges, for crimes against other victims, should not have been vacated. Nothing Mr. Reyes said exonerated these five of those attacks. And there was certainly more than enough evidence to support those convictions of first-degree assault, robbery, riot and other charges,” Fairstein writes. Fairstein also denies the portrayal of the five teens being held without food or deprived of their parents’ company during questioning: “If that had been true, surely they would have brought those issues up and prevailed in pretrial hearings on the voluntariness of their statements, as well as in their lawsuit against the city. They didn’t, because it never happened,” Fairstein writes. Fairstein also says that DuVernay portrays her as an “prosecutor and a bigot, the police as incompetent or worse, and the five suspects as innocent of all charges against them” and claims that “none of this is true.” She finishes by arguing that “it is a wonderful thing that these five men have taken themselves to responsible positions and community respect,” but reiterated that DuVernay “ignored so much of the truth about the gang of 30 and about the suffering of their victims” and described this as an “outrage.” Ava’s response to Linda’s “outrage?” The filmmaker responded to the op-ed on Twitter, calling Fairstein’s words “expected and typical.” Then she simply added, “Onward.” Expected and typical. Teen Mom OG is back, folks! And you know what that means — more legal trouble for Ryan Edwards! Monday night's episode depicted Edwards' arrest back in January — the one that landed him behind bars for almost three months. Obviously, we knew from the start that it was a sad situation, but we don't know just how sad it was until last night. The show put the focus on the many people who were let down by Ryan's latest relapse and the ways in which their lives were affected. Here's a quick look at how it all went down: 1. The Family Man After 90 days in rehab, it looked as though Ryan would be content to return to the life of a husband and father. But it wasn’t long before his old restlessness returned. 2. Making Up For Lost Time Ryan’s wife, Mackenzie Standifer, laughed about Ryan forcing her into therapy, but she was clearly happy to have him back — and not just to “change some diapers,” as she jokingly claimed. 3. Mackenzie Making Moves For obvious reasons, Mackenzie was intent on ensuring that Ryan remained sober, and it seems she believed that maintaining a strong connection to both of his sons would be crucial to his efforts to keep clean. 4. Maci In the Middle So even though Ryan is not supposed to have any contact with Maci according to the terms of his restraining order, Mackenzie reached out to his ex to try and re-open the lines of communication. 5. Strict Terms After issuing death threats to Maci’s husband, Ryan was not even supposed to contact her through a third party, but clearly, Bookout shares Standifer’s opinion that it’s crucial he continue to have a relationship with his eldest son. 6. Understandably Frustrated “Technically, he’s not supposed to and I was like, ‘Okay, yeah, sure.’ He said he would like to meet with me,” she explained at one point. View Slideshow
