Welp. We appear to have an answer to the question we posed just a few days ago. In the wake of Kody Brown appearing to hurl some shade in the direction of Meri Brown last week, we wrote about said shade and wondered: How would Meri respond ? Based on Meri’s latest Instagram updates, it seems like she read the criticism, took a deep breath — and then went to the Happiest Place on Earth. Yup: Meri Brown spent this past weekend in Disneyland. “Just a chill day here at Disneyland! If you’re here and see me, don’t be shy, just say hi! I’m doing some shopping, because of course it’s a super fun thing to do, and I love to share the Disney love!” wrote Meri as a caption to the image above. She added along with the one below: “Vintage Mickey at Disney? Yes please!” Perhaps most telling, as it relates to Brown’s posts and her ongoing relationship status, is one of the hashtags she wrote alongside her second caption: #IndependentWoman . Meri has been very open over the years with her dissatisfaction over her marriage to Kody. She actually had an opportunity to date back in 2015 and 2016 … and she then she ended up meeting someone she thought could be a serious possibility online — only to be catfished for the entire world to see. It’s been a challenging road for Meri to come back from this catfishing scandal . As one of four women married to Kody Brown, Meri has confessed that her love life hasn’t turned out the way she once fantasized. But she did claim on a Sister Wives reunion special this spring that she’s doing her best to move on and accept the arrangement as best she can. “What we’ve had to do is discover our new baseline,” Kody on this special, referring to the issues he has faced with Meri and adding: “Every marriage has a baseline, and it gently changes through the years for most people… Meri and I had an abrupt change. “Different culture, Different religious values, we might have just [gotten a divorce], but we’re fortunate enough to be blessed to be a part of a family that is its own culture. “So we continue to move forward working on that, steadily moving in a direction where we’re just fully mended.” Meri echoed this same sentiment on the same episode, yet she did not sound very convincing while doing so. “You have to figure out a way almost to just cut it off and just be dead,” Meri said of her beliefs about her marriage prior to her aforementioned catfishing scandal. “I honestly have had to mourn what is gone.” In conclusion? “I’m looking at a future as well. I am, and I have a lot of hope for what could be.” We guess that sort of sounds promising, but it’s become evident that Meri simply isn’t happy. She’s merely accept this Sister Wives situation because she thinks it’s the best she can do. Making things even more tragic? Kylie Jenner lived every parent’s worst nightmare over the weekend: Her child fell ill, and there was nothing Kylie could do about it. The 21-year old explained what happened in a lengthy and emotional Instagram Story post yesterday, frightening her followers at first but eventually reassuring them that little Stormi was okay.; “Blessed beyond words,” Jenner wrote at first, along with a snapshot of her backyard, adding mysteriously: “Thank you God. I believe in being a reflection of what you’d like to receive. If you want love, give love. If you want success, wish success.” As you might expect, such a message left fans wondering what the heck might have happened to elicit such a response from the reality star, who never really invokes God or religion very often. Jenner then added a photo of a sleeping Stormi, writing along with it a caption explaining the traumatic ordeal mother and daughter experienced over the weekend. “Spent the day in the hospital with my baby. She had an allergic reaction but is 100% okay now and we are home,” she explained. “Nothing else matters when these things happen. God bless all the moms with sick babies. I’m sending so much love and positive energy your way. We’re so very glad Stormi is back at home now and, by the looks of her, resting comfortably and happily. This is the second time in two months that a Kardashian/Jenner young one has been hospitalised due to an allergic reaction. Back in late April, Kim’s son Saint West was rushed to the ER during a family vacation to Palm Springs. Thankfully, he, too, is doing just fine now. Jenenr, meanwhile, may or may not elope with Travis Scott at some point this summer. But she is definitely totally smitten with her 16-month old infant. “I always knew I wanted to be a young mother,” Jenner told Interview Germany in March, adding in more detail: “I remember people used to ask, ‘Are you ready for this?’ “And I always knew I was ready but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child, but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better.” How would Kylie say she has changed overall as a result of delivering Stormi? “The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her,” she told this same magazine. Taylor lied and said that her primary residence had been damaged in the flood and that she was forced to rent a place to stay. “There’s no such thing as a little bit of FEMA fraud. Taylor’s fraudulent scheme took FEMA dollars away from those who needed it the most,” U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart said in a statement, referring to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. More than two years ago, Taylor came into public view when she resigned from her county government development job for calling Mrs. Obama “an ape in heels” on Facebook . She was suspended for her comments, then fired and secretly rehired and then fired for good . “It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape in heels,” Taylor wrote in November 2016. In her plea agreement, Taylor also agreed to pay restitution of over $18,000.
