According to a TMZ report , she’s just filed legal docs staking her claim. She’s recently filed documents to own the name “Bocktails With Cardi B.” In the trademark documents, she’s laying claim to “entertainment services in the nature of providing ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists.” Hmm, sounds a lot like FYI’s “ Kocktails With Khloe “. Remember that short-lived show? Cardi B, however, wants more than a show with the name, “Bocktails with Cardi B.” She’s asking for exclusivity on clothing, including shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, hats, caps, footwear, skirts, dresses, blouses, sweaters, pants, and shorts. The #LHHATL star who’s been engaged to Arkansas businessman Mo Fayne since July 2018 is in the middle of a scandal after fans sent Mo an Instagram Live between Karlie and rapper MoneyBagg Yo. In it, Karlie, 45 , seemingly flirts with the rapper who encourages her to come to visit him at his Washington D.C. concert. Source: C.Smith/ WENN.com / WENN Aretha Franklin’s Handwritten Wills Discovered By Her Niece Aretha Franklin’s niece, Sabrina Owens–who is also the personal representative of Franklin’s estate–has reportedly found the late singer’s handwritten wills, according to reports via the Associated Press . These newly discovered wills were filed in probate court in Oakland County, Michigan on Monday. The three wills were discovered by Owens after she came across a key for a locked cabinet. Two of the wills, from 2010, were found in said cabinet while the third will, from March 2014, was uncovered under the cushions of a couch. It was previously thought that Franklin left no will behind, until Owens found all three of thesewills in the same day at Franklin’s home. The documents from 2014 detail which assets should be left to Franklin’s family members. A statement from Owens says, “she remains neutral and wishes that all parties involved make wise choices on behalf of their mother, her rich legacy, the family and the Aretha Franklin estate…” “If it’s clear and convincing evidence of your intentions, it’s a perfectly valid document,” Patrick Simasko, an estate specialist, told AP. “The court wants to do everything in its power to fulfill the wishes of the person who passed away.” In the documents, Franklin requests that her son, Kecalf Franklin, be the personal representative of the estate. Franklin’s sons previously agreed to Owens overseeing the estate. A hearing to confirm the validity of the wills is scheduled to happen on June 12.
D ominique Clayton was a 32-year-old mother of four in Oxford, Mississippi. On Sunday, she was reportedly murdered inside her home and her body was found by her children. Investigators claim it as possible the two were in a relationship. Jeff McCutchen, interim chief with the Oxford Police Department said, “We want to assure you that we will not hide behind our badge. Our hearts go out to the family of Dominique Clayton. To the family, we thank you for your patience and your trust in us to see this through.” There have not been many details releases about her death but WREG says, “A family member said Monday that Clayton’s body was lying on her bed and there was a lot of blood on the back of her head.” Dominique’s sister Shyjaun Clayton said she’s disappointed there aren’t more details about Kinne’s arrest, saying, “Hopefully he’ll get convicted. Previously, Holder was charged with murder, 2 counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon by the L.A. County District Attorney. However, after revisiting the case the D.A. added a pair of assault with a firearm charges for the victims who were fortunate enough to survive. Holder shot and killed Nipsey in front of the Marathon clothing store he owned on March 31 and pleaded not guilty as his arraignment on April 4. If you’ve spent any time at all on the internet in the past 48 hours, then you’re probably aware that the series finale of Game of Thrones drew a decidedly … mixed reaction from viewers. But while many fans may not have been enthralled by the beloved series’ final installment — or its final season , for that matter — they tuned in from all corners of the world in record numbers. According to The Hollywood Reporter , an astonishing 13.6 million viewers watched the debut airing of the Thrones finale. Replays and early streaming bring that number to 19.4 million (and growing). Both numbers are records not only for GoT, but for HBO and premium cable in general. And it should come as no surprise that the record broken on Sunday night also belonged to Game of Thrones . The show’s penultimate episode also posted jaw-dropping numbers, drawing 12.5 million catching the first-run, and a total of 18.4 million tuning in over the course of the first night. Of course, for those involved in Thrones ‘ final season — from showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff all the way down to the lowliest charred peasant in King’s Landing — joy over this unprecedented ratings triumph is likely tempered by the negative response to the show’s conclusion. Here’s a number that HBO top brass probably won’t be shouting from the rooftops anytime soon: 48 percent. That’s the score for the GoT finale on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. Execs at the major networks wouldn’t lose much sleep over a show that drew in a record audience but received negative reviews from most critics. However, HBO is not CBS. The network’s bottom line is mostly reliant on subscriptions, which means its reputation is almost as important as the number of people tuning in for its original programming. Viewers shell out for HBO’s substantial monthly fee (It’s costlier than Netflix or Hulu in most markets.) because they feel the network offers quality programming they can’t get anywhere else There was always a fear among execs that the end of the war in Westeros would mean a substantial drop in subscriptions. The fact that so many viewers are feeling burned (pun fully intended) by the final season of HBO’s flagship show does not bode well for the network’s future, particularly as it gears up for competition from the highly-anticipated Disney Plus. In all likelihood, HBO will always be around in some form or another — but then again, they said that about the Iron Throne, too.
