Check out a sneak peek below: According to a a release from the network, the new series follows five returning couples who fans have grown to know and love – or love to hate – as they face parole restrictions, temptation, and turbulence in their lives outside of prison walls. Will these troubled lovebirds break old habits with the support of their loved ones? Or will they break the rules and land back in the clink? Throughout the eight episodes of “Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup,” fan-favorites Clint and Tracie; Marcelino and Brittany; Megan, Michael, and Sarah; Scott and Lizzie; and Andrea and Lamar will face new challenges and tackle many firsts in their new lives, from raising children to buying first homes to finding work and staying sober. These committed couples are doing it all while living under the restrictions of parole and dealing with the stresses and occasional turmoil of a new relationship. Now that these former inmates have left prison, will they be able to survive the real world and stay out of prison for good? Who were your favorites from the “Love After Lockup” franchise? The singer and fashion maven settled with the company for an undisclosed amount, bringing the matter to an official close. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, RiRi and the clothing company Freedom United have privately settled the case. The judge then closed the case officially. Last year, Freedom United sued Rihanna and claimed they have been making clothing with an “FU” logo since 2006 and even have it trademarked. Freedom United said RiRi then launched her PUMA deal and began hawking items with a similar “F.U.” logo on her “Fenty University” clothing. Rihanna is one to bigger and better things in the fashion world after it was recently announced that she’ll have her own line with the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Group. — Photo: WENN

Yesterday DJ Khaled did his part when he posted a touching tribute to the Victory Lap artist on his IG page in which he announced the release of their collaboration cut dubbed “Higher” and how they put down the track just days before Nip was murdered. “Just days prior, he shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called “Higher.” After much prayer and reflection; and with the full blessing of the Asghedom family, I am sharing that moment with the world.” To further honor the memory and family of Nip, Khaled stated that they are “donating 100% of all our proceeds from “Higher” to Nipsey’s children, Emani and Kross.” Well done, sir. Source: Jason Kempin / Getty Will Smith And Queen Latifah To Release A Hip-Hop Musical Hip-hop legends Will Smith and Queen Latifah are slated to produce a contemporary musical version of Romeo & Juliet for Netflix, according to The Hollywood Reporte r . Solvan “Slick” Naim–who has directed episodes for a number of TV popular shows, including Animal Kingdom , Power , The Blacklist , The Get Down , and Blindspot –has been tapped to direct the project. This upcoming movie is supposed to be a contemporary musical take on William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy. The film is expected to be set against “the urban rhythms of New York,” and will tell the story of a young waitress from of Brooklyn opposite an aspiring musician from a wealthy family, whose unconventional romance will “force them to confront their life choices.” This project is going to reunite Queen Latifah and Will Smith, who worked together on The Fresh Price of Bel-Air so many years back–which also happened to be Queen’s very first acting gig. Latifah and Shakim Compere will produce via their Flavor Unit Entertainment banner, along with Broome and Yong Yam for 25/7 Productions.
