This weekend lots of celebrities made their way into D.C. for Howard University’s Homecoming . Dave East came through and performed at Yardfest and Lore’l jokes with him that people weren’t sure if they were looking at him or Method Man. If you haven’t seen the new Hulu series Wu-Tang: An American Saga it’s definitley a must see and Dave out did himself. He shares with Lore’l and Angie how it was preparing for this role and even how difficult it was switching back to himself after being wrapped up in this character. Get a peak of this show in the trailer below… Along with this series, Dave is also excited to have a release date for his album. Look out for his new music on November 8th! With the new album and new series, things seem to be going in a positive direction for Dave but of coarse the bliss feeling couldn’t last too long. Recently there were reports that Dave was involved in a three-some gone wrong and charged with a battery. An educational institution recently rescinded their invitation to have him at their homecoming festivities. The Brooklyn MC was scheduled to perform at Georgetown University’s “Hoya Madness” last weekend. XXL is reporting that Fab’s invite was cancelled due to allegations of domestic violence. School officials released a formal statement explaining their position. “After engaging with students, we have cancelled the musical act for 2019 Hoya Madness. We take domestic violence very seriously and were unaware of the charges against the entertainer when he was booked through a third-party entity. We are committed to enhanced vetting of future performers and doing all that we can to support a safe and respectful community.” Earlier this year Fabolous plead guilty to one count of harassment for threatening and menacing his longtime girlfriend Emily Bustamante and her father. He originally faced up to 20 years for allegedly punching her so hard that she had to have her front teeth removed. Weeks later footage surfaced of him brandishing a sharp object at Emily and her family members outside of their New Jersey home. You can see the video of the altercation below. According to The Blast , Nicki Minaj and Tracy Chapman have failed to reach an agreement during court-ordered mediation in the copyright infringement case. Chapman is accusing Minaj of unlawfully sampling her song “Baby Can I Hold You” for the track “Sorry,” but Minaj reportedly confirmed in court documents that the song never made it to her album because Chapman didn’t approve the sample. Chapman and her attorneys, however, accuse Minaj of leaking the record to Funkmaster Flex who debuted the song on his show, which Minaj denies. The publication reports that documents from the attempted mediation note that on October 2 the parties tried to privately hash out their issues; citing “the mediation was unsuccessful, and no settlement was reached. The settlement is not imminent,” after the “Fendi” rapper denied committing copyright infringement, and reportedly claimed fair use as her defense. Minaj also allegedly argued that Chapman doesn’t own the copyright herself, and is asking for the lawsuit to be dismissed. It seems that lawsuits, lackluster sales, and Twitter jabs have gotten to the Queen Radio host, which is what many fans speculate led to her abrupt retirement announcement. As previously reported , Nicki Minaj recently announced her retirement from Rap to “focus on building her family” back in August before recanting the decision one week later in early September. Nicki did give insight into the decision while responding to a fan saying: “I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe.” The copyright lawsuit is slated to go to forward to court.

He took over the role after Ben Affleck – who also was directing- bowed out after the abysmal Justice League film. According to Variety , pre-production on the Warner Bros/DC Comics film is expected to start this upcoming summer. No official start date for The Batman has been revealed, but “insiders’ told the publication that filming could begin late 2019 or early 2020. The Batman is slated for a June 25, 2021, nationwide release. Kravitz, who is coming off a successful second season of the popular HBO show, Big Little Lies , will also be starring in the Hulu series High Fidelity . She joins Anne Hatheway, who played the thief and sometimes Batman’s love interest in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises . Michelle Pfeiffer successfully took on the role of Selina Kyle Batman Returns teaming up with Danny DeVito’s Penguin opposite Michael Keaton who played the caped crusader. Catwoman also had her own solo movie starring Halle Berry. The film, unfortunately, flopped super-hard. It is still considered to be one of the worst superhero flicks ever. Kravitz casting sounds like a good move by Reeves, who did receive a bit of criticism for opting to go with Pattinson to play the billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. 34-year-old Aaron York Dean is behind bars this evening , hours after he resigned as a member of the Fort Worth Police Department. He’s been charged with murder in the shooting of 28-year-old Atatiana Jefferson in her home on Saturday. Dean, who had been a member of the Fort Worth Police Department since April 2018 is currently listed as an inmate in the Tarrant County Jail. Dean failed to cooperate with investigators in regards to the shooting as body cam footage showed him approaching Jefferson’s window and asking her to put her hands up before firing his weapon.
