Meghan McCain: Will She Be Fired From The View?!

The View is one of the most beloved daytime talk shows — hosted by women, of course — who offer their own point of  view  on the day’s news. And while the casual conversations usually escalate into a full-on debate, that is what makes it entertaining, informative and often times very funny.  However, some fans have had enough of co-host Meghan McCain’s perspectives and are begging for her to be fired following a week filled with multiple on-air altercations.  After McCain accused Whoopi Goldberg of finding terrorism “funny” during Tuesday’s episode, Twitter user Aimee Allen decided that she is so over the co-host and took to social media to call for McCain’s firing, according to Pop Culture . “Seriously? When is [The View] going to get rid of McCain???” the viewer asked on Twitter.  “No one claps for her, she doesn’t let anyone else speak but demands to be heard herself and is so annoying.”  Ouch, a tad harsh but also — she’s got a point. While Meghan McCain is the only Republican on the show she obviously brings an extremely different and not so popular side to the table. Of course, it would be hard for her to get her (sometimes offensive) points across — yet viewers wish she could handle her discussions in a more mature manner rather than her often heated and powerful jabs.  Other fans are also calling for the series to drop the former Fox News contributor , who joined The View in 2017 during its 21st season. After the Tuesday altercation, which was prompted during a discussion of Bernie Sanders’ statement that even “terrible people” should have voting rights, a number of viewers took to social media to bash McCain.  “I hope they fire you,” one person wrote. “You’re ruining the show hell I dont even want to watch anymore.” Another commented, “Off topic… I really wish The View would fire Meghan McCain… she makes the show unbearable to watch.” “Bring Nicolle Wallace back… everybody likes her…except Trump and that means she’s doing everything right.” But mind you, Trump definitely does not like the McCains. We all know that. (He also doesn’t like the majority of people — unless you are Kanye West .)  In fact, the family of the late John McCain, who was a longtime Senate colleague of Joe Biden’s, might be backing Biden in the Democratic primary , and if he wins, they may further support him in the general election against Donald Trump.  And although the ABC talk show is known for its frequent heated political discussions and even though McCain may be planning to back former Vice President Biden  — many still believe she  has crossed the line .  After this emotional and drama-filled week — they may be right.  Along with the Tuesday incident, during the “Hot Topics” segment on the Monday, April 22 episode, McCain unleashed when the topic of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller’s report came up.  McCain told her fellow co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin that liberals need to move away from the Mueller report and focus on getting voters to not vote for Trump in the upcoming 2020 election.  The bickering began as McCain went off on a tangent claiming that it will be the Democrats fault when President Trump gets elected again because of their ongoing demonization of Republicans. Sunny Hostin fought back in asking McCain about Republican accountability for Trump’s behavior. McCain refused to answer and rolled her eyes — like a bratty teenager who got her cell phone taken away.  “I always took Trump seriously,” she replied.  “You can go back and check the receipts when I worked at Fox and when I worked on my radio show. I always took Trump seriously.” “This mess that we all got ourselves into, I blame the left as much as the right, and the demonizing of all conservatives in this country, all Trump supporters in every way. You’re getting him re-elected.” Everyone allowed Meghan to speak until she foolishly said: “Trump didn’t collude with Russia.” Immediately Joy shot back and said, “You know that’s not true!” and Sunny ran off a list of Trump’s alleged crimes.  Whoopi shut the conversation up real quick as she sent the show to commercial break. So will Meghan McCain be fired from The View ??  We wouldn’t be surprised but, at the end of the day, Meghan still has plenty of fans out there who love her on the show and think she does a great job at representing conservative values — while also not backing Donald Trump. The show needs that opposite point of view in order to truly reflect all sides.  And if that’s just too much for you — maybe next time you tune in try keeping a bottle of ibuprofen in hand? Or whiskey … if you’re into that kind of thing at 11 a.m. on the weekday.  But at that point — I may suggest just turning the TV off.  View Slideshow: Jenny McCarthy Details Miserable, Hellish Experience on The View

90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: Nicole Reveals Shocking Truth About Azan

90 Day Fiance star Nicole Nafziger has been dropping hints that she'll marry Azan Tefou in the near future. But in this Happily Ever After? sneak peek, Nicole reveals that she's been lying to everyone. She's pulled the wool over the eyes of her family and the viewers at home, and even the producers are shocked. “I miss Azan,” Nicole admits at the start of this new 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? clip. The new season is days away, but the show is already dropping major bombshells. “Yeah,” her sister adds in … noncommittal support.  Nicole continues: “Having to come back without getting married really sucks.” We can only imagine. “Now that she’s back,” her sister says to the camera in a confessional. “And,” Nicole's sister observes, Nicole “didn’t get married for different reasons that we’re still, like, figuring out.” Oh, that's a little shady. We do understand her confusion. “it’s been a little difficult for her,” her sister admits. “I do feel she really wanted to move forward with the wedding,” her sister speculates. “And that makes me wonder,” she confesses. “like, how much he pushed her in not having the wedding at this time.” To be fair, none of us know what talk goes on behind the scenes. We don't know what's Azan's idea and what's Nicole's. “And that kind of concerns me a little bit,” her sister admits. Ultimately, Nicole's sister decides to ask point-blank. “Why did y’all decide to push it off?” she inquires. “We decided to just like, start a shop or something,” Nicole replies vaguely. Ah, yes — Azan's famous, vague shop. The one that sells … goods, presumably. She explains that they wanted to do this “to get like, an income and then kinda get married.” “So how’s the shop going?” her sister asks. “It’s going,” Nicole replies. Did she practice being vague? Nicole added, also unhelpfully: “It's a shop.” Is it, though ? Because Nicole's expression as she says this to her sister is … thoroughly unconvincing. “Even though I told my mom that we were talking about opening a store,” Nicole says in confessional. She reveals: “We never winded up going through with it.” It was all a lie?! Even the producer is surprised. “So there is no store?” the producer asks. “There is no store,” Nicole confirms. Controversial take: this may ultimately be a good thing. Remember, their cover story involved Nicole forking over money to Azan to open said store. She would have been his investor, essentially. That investment in a shop in Morocco, when the plan is for Azan to come to the US as her husband, didn't sound like the best plan. But my goodness, Nicole needs to get better at lying if she's going to pull this kind of thing. With all of that blushing and grinning, she's not fooling anyone. At best, they'll just assume that she's trying to cover for the fact that the shop failed. Or worse, her family will assume that she forked over thousands in savings to Azan, only for him to stall opening a shop. Her family isn't super thrilled with her endless long distance relationship. They don't need to think even worse of Azan than they already do.

Avengers Endgame Reviews: A Fitting End to the Saga?

We're not sure if you've heard, but Avengers: Endgame is now ready for your viewing pleasure. The concluding saga in this Marvel Cinematic Universe journey, the film will bring together ALL your favorite characters and actors and actresses and pretty much everything you have loved about all these Avengers. But will you actually love the blockbuster itself? We've collected a number of Avengers: Endgame reviews down below in order to help you decide whether the movie is worth attending. (Just kidding: We know you'll be going no matter what. But you must be curious to see what the professionals are saying, right?) 1. Chris Hewitt, Minneapolis Star Tribune It’s an episodic movie, so it shines in parts, rather than as a whole, but there are plenty of good parts. 2. Peter Travers, Rolling Stone The MCU’s long goodbye to the Avengers (is it really?) comes off as truly epic and thunderously exciting. But here’s the big surprise-it’s also an emotional wipeout 3. James Berardinelli, ReelViews Avengers: Endgame isn’t as brash, surprising, or relentless as its predecessor but it’s a worthy conclusion to the Infinity War duology and provides a satisfying end to the First Avengers Era. 4. Jake Wilson, The Age (Australia) For young adults who have literally grown up with these movies, the experience may be emotionally overwhelming. 5. Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times The Motion Picture Academy never recognizes great acting if it comes attached to a costume or a cape. That doesn’t mean Downey isn’t deserving of an Oscar. It’s great acting in a great film. 6. Kim Newman, Sight and Sound The last-reel battle pretty much has to be the most satisfying superhero movie set piece of all time, delivering the multiple closures this long-in-the-telling saga needs. Lori Loughlin: Secretly Returning to Fuller House?!

For several weeks now, Lori Loughlin has been at the center of one of the most high-profile celebrity controversies in recent memory. The college admissions bribery scandal has attracted attention from all corners of the media, and even those who usually keep their distance from the world of celebrity news are following closely for their daily dose of schadenfreude. Loughlin has become the face of the ” Varsity Blues ” investigation (yes, that’s really what the FBI is calling it) for a number of reasons. While fellow actress Felicity Huffmarguablyguable more famous and certainly more highly-regarded by her peers, Loughlin’s (alleged) crimes were far more egregious, as the former Full House  star is accused of shelling out half a million in bribes, compared to Huffman’s $15,000. Furthermore, while Huffman has agreed to play ball with prosecutors, Loughlin rejected a plea deal and is reportedly confident that she can beat the charges against her. The prosecution responded by leveling even more charges against Loughlin, who is now facing decades behind bars if she’s convicted. For obvious reasons, all of this has made Loughlin a toxic presence in Hollywood, and at the outset, many expected she would never work again. So you can imagine our suprise when Radar Online reported that Loughlin will be returning to Fuller House for the show’s final season. “Publicly, the producers have said nothing about Lori and her situation over the bribery scandal,” a source tells the site. “They didn’t say she would never return to the show.” And why would producers take a risk on such a scandalous — and widely despised — figure? Well according to the insider, it’s all because Loughlin is so well-liked by her co-stars. “Lori is beloved by the entire cast and crew of Fuller House, as well as the producers and the executives at Netflix,” says the informant. “John Stamos and other cast members have gone to bat for Lori, and really like this idea.” And apparently, producers feel they have little to lose as Fuller House enters its final season. Still, they’re conscious of the bad press that might accompany Loughlin’s return to set, and they’re taking the appropriate precautions. The insider says Lori “would secretly film her scenes with other cast members but not in front of a studio audience.” The source adds: “Filming would not happen until later this summer, and producers hope all the controversy surrounding Loughlin will have died down by the time the episodes air later this year and they will have a ratings bonanza with Aunt Becky back on the show,” Yeah, we wouldn’t put too many eggs in she “scandal dying down” or “ratings bonanza” baskets. Hell, by that point, Loughlin may have gone from Full House to the big house.

Why We Can’t Get Enough Of Lauren London’s Character On ‘Games People Play’

Read more here:

Source: Michael Tullberg / Getty Lauren London made her return to television in BET’s new juicy drama, Games People Play Tuesday night, starring in the role of basketball wife Vanessa King. London’s performance was relatable as she unveiled the ugly truth of being married to a successful basketball player who struggles with an addiction and infidelity, all while flashing her mesmerizing smile. Source: BET / BET While the cast is made of black Hollywood all-stars (including a few celebrity guests), it’s Lauren London’s character that we can’t get enough of, as Vanessa effortlessly makes us empathize with the often-idolized lifestyle of a glamorous yet constantly cheated on basketball wife. It’s clear that London’s own experience as a doting mother of two comes through in her role of Vanessa King, as she prioritizes her family both on and off screen. “Being a mother has changed my outlook on life,” the 34-year old actress recently told The Grio, “and I think that naturally filters into my work.” In the series premiere, we’re introduced to Vanessa and Marques King (Sarunas J. Jackson), a good looking and successful couple who seemingly have it all but struggle to keep their marriage in tact due to Marques’ compulsive cheating. In spite of their struggles, we see that Vanessa clearly loves her husband, or “King” as she calls him, and even puts her dreams of becoming a high-powered attorney on hold to become the perfect wife and mother that’ll help take her husband’s professional basketball career to the next level. Like so many wives and mothers in real life, Mrs. King is devoted to keeping her family together, but her constant sacrifices can’t seem to stop her husband from messing around with known side-chicks and groupies behind his wife’s back. As an escape from Marques’ persistent unfaithfulness, Vanessa turns to her sorority sister and gossip blogger friend, Nia Bullock (Karen Obilom), for support and a sense of familiarity in her new Los Angeles home. But in the age of social media and click bait, there’s no escaping that reality as Marques’ extramarital affairs will soon be made public through an exclusive interview with his mistress done by Vanessa’s BFF, Nia. Now, Nia is conflicted on whether to remain loyal to her girl or impress her boss by running the exclusive story about Marques’ cheating. The pilot episode started off with a bang and we can only anticipate that more drama will unfold in the weeks to come. Catch “Games People Play” Tuesdays at 8pm (EST) on BET.
